EIGHT.
IT WAS FINALLY GRADUATION DAY, Kenzie decided to get ready at her zombie home. Zevon was fixing Zed's gown as Kenzie readjusting her hair, making sure she looks presentable as she stood next to Zed so their dad could look at them.
"I'm so proud of both of you." Zed and Kenzie thanked their father as they both wish their moms would be there. "I know. I miss her too. Your mom would be proud of you, Kenz."
Kenzie and Zed hugged their dad as they walked outside to see all their friends, as Kenzie walked over to Wyatt.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't our robot zombie valedictorian. So much for overthrowing the system."
"Oh, I'm still going to do that. From the inside." Eliza said, whispering the last part.
"Briezt za guraguh," Bonzo then said, looking at them all.
"Yeah," Bree agreed, chuckling. "I remember being so scared of all of you when we first met."
"And we were afraid of them," Zed said, looking at the wolves. "Well, except Kenzie."
"That fear went away when we got to know each other," Wyatt said, smiling at Kenzie. He raised their intertwined hands and kissed the back of hers.
"All because of Addison," Wynter said, smiling. Addison was the one to accept all of the different people as they were right away. No matter their differences or flaws.
"She was one of the first people to really see me," Zed told them. He shot Kenzie a sad smile, knowing he could always count on his sister. At least he wasn't losing her and they'd continue to be at Mountain College together.
"And me," Bree added. Addison was her best friend and not even a galaxy separating them would change that.
"All of us," Willa agreed.
"We should get to school." Kenzie told them. There'd be enough crying with graduation. Thinking of Addison would only make it worse.
"Come on." The group began walking to the school for the last time. Kenzie and Wyatt led the group, followed by Bonzo and Bree as well as Wynter with Eliza following not so far behind. Zed and Willa brought up the back, observing their friends.
"So, Kenzie. Wyatt. When's the wedding? When are you planning to have kids? If so can you name one of your kids after me?" Wynter continued asking questions about the new mates.
Wyatt and Kenzie both shared a confused look.
"Too much?"
Kenzie smiled at Wynter, as she walked over. "Wyatt and I decided to take it slow on the whole mates thing. We just got accepted to Mountain College. Besides, we still have forever to be together." She side-hugged Wynter, her childhood best friend.

The aliens were in the Mothership, still looking for their Utopia. Addison is looking outside of the ship still missing her home, friends, family, and most importantly Zed.
"Mothership almost calculated the coordinates to utopia. She's having trouble extracting the coordinates from Addison's DNA. We've been stuck at 97% for a while." A-Lan informed
"Oh, come on, Mothership!" A-Li exclaimed angrily. A-Lan looked at her, reminding to calm down. "Awooo'' She banged on the side, like what Zed originally did and it seems to work. "That did it. Only a few more minutes now."
"I've been thinking. Why didn't your grandmother tell us that you were the map? Why make our search so difficult."
"Maybe she thought there was something to learn by staying at Seabrook for a while." Addison showed all the mind probes from when zombies started to going to human high school to when the wolves arrived.
"I will miss your friends, but not the discord of your people. In utopia, we will never have conflict." A-Lan smiled as did the rest of the aliens before looking at the mind probes again.
"But sometimes you need conflict." The other aliens were confused by Addison 's comment. "Look what happens once we overcome our differences."
"You became friends."
"We did. Together, we made progress. Conflict isn't always bad. Being challenged sometimes pushes us to be better."
"This is true." A-Lan agreed as they all nodded.
"No one spoke up while our planet suffered. All because we didn't want to create disharmony."
"And now our planet's gone."
"Harmony isn't silence. Unity isn't sameness. Love is powerful. It can handle disagreements."
Addison just got an idea where their utopia should be. "I know where my grandma wanted her people to live. The most perfectly imperfect place there is."
The other aliens knew exactly where their new home should be as Addison set the coordinates.
"Yes. You have found our new home." A-Lan. smiled.
"Take us home, Mothership."
"Please."

When graduation came to an end, Bucky was outside with the Aceys. And they had plenty of questions for Bucky, ones he didn't know how to answer.
"How come you don't have alien hair like your grandmother?" Stacey asked.
Bucky and Addison weren't adopted and shared the same quarter of alien heritage, so he should possess the same Stardust Spark as well.
"Because I'm not an alien," Bucky said defensively. "I'm an ordinary person. An extraordinarily normal, fantastically fabulous, ordinary awesome person!"
"Bucky, if you were different, you know we'd-"
Bucky interrupted Lacey quickly. "Mock me?"
Lacey looked at him sympathetically. "Accept you," she said.
He let out a soft, "Oh."
"Seabrook High's really gonna miss your awesomeness, Bucky," JC told him.
"Yeah," Bucky agreed before beginning to cry. He pulled them all into a short group hug. "I'm really gonna miss me too!
"Come on. Let's go celebrate," Lacey said as they all walked off.
"Tell me again how great I am," Bucky demanded.
Everyone else was crowded around the huge sign that read 'Monsters welcome at Mountain College. After Zed and Kenzie were accepted, they also invited other monsters to apply and got rid of the clauses in scholarships prohibiting them from applying for those that couldn't afford it on their own.
"It is gonna be awesome when we're all at college," Bree said while hugging Bonzo from the side. "Leaving Seabrook isn't the end. It's the beginning."
"I miss Addison so much," Eliza said, frowning. "I wish she could be here."
"Me too. We were gonna change the world," Zed said sadly.
Suddenly, blue lights flashed above them. Everyone looked up to see that the Mothership had appeared in the night sky. And then a wide beam shot down, teleporting Addison, A-Lan, A-Spen, and A-Li back down to earth.
"Addison!" they all exclaimed, rushing forward.
"You came back!" Zed said in disbelief. The couple quickly kissed before hugging each other.
"You thought I was gonna let intergalactic space travel get in the way of graduating?" she asked, laughing.
"But what about utopia?" Willa asked, looking at the aliens.
"Seabrook is our utopia," A-Lan said with a smile.
"But Seabrook isn't a perfect place," Bree told them, confused.
"It's not," A-Spen agreed. "It's messy, emotional.."
They smiled at Willa, who winked in return. "Full of surprises," she said, ignoring the smug looks on Wyatt and Kenzie's faces as she showed interest in someone for once.
"Where change can happen," Addison went on.
"Where someday can be today," Zed said, gazing into her eyes.
"What a perfect place to call home," Mothership declared, emitting sniffing sounds as if it was crying. "Now I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just one proud mothership. I love you kids."
All the wolves shouted in sync, having been planning the graduation event for two weeks. "Party!"
☾
So, yea. The aliens are moving into Seabrook. And even though our community is stronger than ever, and we're breaking down barriers every day, there's still more to learn.
So whatever the future holds for our monster of a town, we'll be ready for it. Because Seabrook's not perfect. It's about progress.
Which means we'll always welcome the unexpected.

( ADDISON )
Oh, whoa-oh-oh, yeah
They used to tell us, "Don't be different"
"Don't you dare be strange"
But if you want a chance to change the world
( ZED )
You gotta dare to be the change
( ADDISON )
Now we're a mess of contradictions
Just starting to make sense
And the feeling talking over is so intense
( ZED )
Oh, everyone belongs here
We're glad to see your face
Home is what we got, yeah
It's the people, not the place
( EVERYONE )
So come and be yourself
You're the only one who can
We're better for it, give us more
It's how this all began, yeah
Now we got nothing but love for you
( ADDISON )
And everything you do
( EVERYONE )
Nothing but love for you
( ZED )
And anybody coming through
( EVERYONE )
Nothing but love for you
We know you got it for us too
Nothing but love for you
Love for you
Nothing but love
Nothing but love (oh-oh)
Nothing but love
( WILLA )
We still own the night
And sharing it, that's new
( A-SPEN )
But the stars shine so much brighter
Now I'm sharing them with you
( KENZIE )
I can just be me
( WYATT )
And you can be you too
( WYATT, WILLA, KENZIE, & ASPEN )
And if we ever disagree
( THE WOLVES & A-SPEN )
We'll just do like zombies do (whoa!)
( EVERYONE )
Now we got nothing but love for you
And everything you do
Nothing but love for you
And anybody coming through
Nothing but love for you
We know you got it for us too
Nothing but love for you
Love for you
Nothing but love
Nothing but love
We got nothing but love for you
And everything you do
Nothing but love for you
And anybody coming through
Nothing but love for you
We know you got it for us too
Nothing but love for you
Love for you
Nothing but love (nothing but love)
Nothing but love
Bucky decided to go aboard on the Mothership without any noticing he left. "It's time to bring cheer to the farthest reaches of the galaxy!" He moves some things around as the ship started to blast into space
"Shish, boom, bye-bye!"
"I'm going to space! I'm going to space! I'm going to space, mama!"
