✩ hano kyō, more commonly known as mihi, was born in kanagawa, tokyo, japan. at the age of six, she was adopted by a chinese family. she drew closer and closer to then without her actual family ever double crossing her mind. her brother participated in a survival show called boys planet 999 at the same time as she was training for her debut. he debuted two months after her debut with newjeans in 2022 and with bnd on May 30th the next year.

fun and not so fun facts about mihi!

✩ mihi chose her stage name by herself. the reason is because she thought she could connect more with others (who are korean) using her korean name.

✩  she once stated that she was adopted at the age of 6,  hence why she doesn't have a thai name. although, she plans to choose one in future for herself.

✩  nobody anyone ever calls mihi by her japanese/birth name.

✩ her brother (step), zhang hao, made his debut two months later after her on the tenth of july with his group, zb1 (zerobaseone) formed by mnet's show, boys planet 999.

✩ upon the news of her joining the group, the debut had to be pushed back to may thirty.

✩ she calls the boys 'pretty boys'. sungho said she threw them a party after their debut video was finally on the platforms and there was a banner that said, "congratulations, pretty boys."
