Karla's pov

*𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨*

'Ugh, no!!! Not that cursed alarm.
Why, like Why??? One day I'm throwing that thing through the window.' I thought.

'Your really stupid aren't you? Your alarm is on your phone. You can't throw it out the window.'
My subconscious says.

I rolled my eyes.

Next thing I know someone is playing or more like pulling my hair out and blubbering something. And then I try to open my eyes but I'm blinded by  light, so I close them and try to open them slowly my eyes open and I see Nico sitting beside me and pulling my hair.

"Good morning Nico? I say in a cheery voice."What are you doing? with my hair?" I say slowly removing his hands from my natural hair and sitting up taking him into my arms.

"Buttyfly, beau—ty—full, hair beau—ty—fuul" whiles holding my curls and tugging at them and saying other things i don't understand.  I check the time on my phone and it says '6:43' I'm almost late whiles our  homeboy over here is in his cute uniform.

I go with him to the bathroom to brush my teeth, after I'm done I ask,  Ms.Riley, if she could watch him which she did not hesitate in doing so. She keeps on telling me that it's her job and she'll gladly do it since it's her job.

Then I head back to my room and throw on a Random hoodie and a pair of leggings and match that with Nike's.

This what my sister calls hobo clothing station, whenever I'm late for something I throw on random clothes even though I may have clothes for that occasion.

Now it's '7:25', so i head downstairs and Jimena is sitting at the table and she's almost done with breakfast.
One look at me and she shakes her head. Anyways, I grab Coco Pop's and milk. A few minutes later, we head to school.

*Time lapse*

Now I'm in school and it's lunch so I'm heading to the cafeteria when Jimena stops me.

"Hey! Why did u stop me? I need to go for lunch." I said frowning.
I try to get out of her hold but can't, it's quite comfortable so I don't think I'll get any marks but it's keeping me in place.

"Hey, let my arm go", I say.
"Wait! I'll let you go if you promise me you'll do it. Please?"
'Oh geez she's crazy' I thought.
"Sure it I'll do but I have to go for lunch, first." I said.
Ok, go, but don't forget, you still have to say it. She says releasing me from her hold.

'I won't forget if u remind me every single tiiimeee!!' I thought.
"Ok, sure. I've heard." I say.

I was about to walk into the canteen when someone bumped into me making almost fall but the person caught me.

"Ok you can leave me now. I'm not falling." I said but I realize the person bumped into me so I say,
"Hey, why did you bump into me?" As I tried to get my hair out of my face.

"Sorry Tiny, I didn't mean to." The person said.

I looked up to see Xander.

"Oh, um it's ok." I said feeling my face heat up. After a few seconds, he started to leave.

"Xander." I called out.

He stopped walking and turned to look at me.

Wait, why did I call him?

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked pointing at the cafeteria.

"Awww, does Tiny care about me?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

I felt my face heating up again.

"Oh. Shut up and answer the question." I said.

"I'm going to eat just somewhere far from the crowd. Maybe, someday I could show you the place, y'know." He says and adds, "Maybe if you don't, I don't know, leave me on read." He says and walks away.

Oof . The shade.

I look at his retracting figure for a while before I snap out of it and walk to the cafeteria to join the little line that's left.

I get a chicken salad and a Snapple. And head over to our table, (Chrissy, Connor and I).

"Hey! Where were you? I was about to go and look for you." Connor stops stuffing his face looks at me and says.

"More like begin a search party.
I had to stop him." Tina adds, shaking her head.

I chuckle and say," Sorry I got caught up with something but y'all remember when I punched Nat, right?"

They both say yes and Connor says something about that being epic whiles Tina rolls her eyes at his comment.

"Well, now I'm going to apologise", I say and Tina somehow chokes on her bread. I pass her water whiles Connor hits her back after, she drinks it and says,"Y–Your doing, what?"

"I'm apologising. I realized my mistake and I'm going to apologise." I said with a mysterious glint in my eyes. 'I have a plan' I thought smirking.

"There's something you aren't telling us." Tina said suspiciously.

"Well let's see what happens", Connor says. Tina hits the back of his head and says, "Seriously!" He says, "Geez, woman! What was that for?"

"Why are you sitting here and acting like this is some Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode. You know, she could get into serious trouble!" Tina says.

Connor says,"And Natalie is gonna get a piece of her own cake."

"Seriously dude, you–,"
Tina starts to say but I tune them out and enjoy my food, when I'm done they are still bickering so I don't interrupt it and walk over to 'Popular table'.

They were all talking and laughing. Actually they were the ones making noise in the cafeteria but I didn't come here for no reason so I cleared my throat and none of them payed attention except for Jimena, she was about to say something when I cleared my throat again much more loudly.

They all turned their heads.
I heard one of the jocks murmur,
"I thought she was  gone."
I just ignored them and reminded myself what I was here for.

Then I said ,"Can I speak to you? Natalie? Um, in private." I said looking at her.

"Oh, hi, Karla, I don't really see any problem talking here, so please, spill."
She says, looking at me, no, rather analyzing me like I have some concoction cooked up.

Which I kinda have.

Anyways I'm about to start my fake speech with fake tears and  my irresistible Pikachu, kinda  face, which was going to be a literal KUWTK drama but then...........

Some person decided to lose their balance and throw their lunch tray which had a piece of Mac and cheese.

I see it so I immediately duck,  before I can say duck it hit some dude on their table who looked like he was already having a bad day and when the Mac and cheese hit him he blew a fuse.

He grabbed his rice pudding and threw it in the direction where I think he thought the Mac and cheese was from.

It hit the back of some girl's head.
Her hair looked like she took hours to make and  OML!!!
I know she saw red.

She threw some mashed potatoes and it hit the lunch lady. You would think that when the jock threw the Mac and cheese the woman would hide or something but she was literally rooted to the middle of the cafeteria, just like me.

Then she started flailing her arms, shouting Madam Principal and running out which I think she was going to call the Principal.

'Yeah, what gave that out? The part she was calling "Madam Principal" or the part where she runs out looking like she's going to call the Principal.' My subconscious says.

And I just inwardly roll my eyes.

Then all of a sudden I'm dunked in Chocolate milk and  that was so so wrong and a waste of precious chocolate milk!!!!

I didn't know who did that since it kinda blinded me so I threw a piece of chocolate cake and let me just say...........................

I wasted food!!!! Nooooo!!!!

But then it hit the one person, I didn't mean to hit.

The one person I was not going to start my own KUWTK drama with.

And let me say Natalie was livid!!!!
Looking angrier than the girl who had cake in her hair. 

She was definitely out to get blood and I don't know why but I couldn't run. She went to the serving area and took a bowl of something I'm not sure what it was and then all of a sudden I could literally here the *whistling sound* and then it landed.

Do you know what it was?

Do you know what she dumped on me??

A whole bowl of chocolate pudding. Like Oh My God!!?!!

I threw just a small bowl and she dumps the whole thing??

Plus they are wasting food.

I'm so sorry for the food!! I'm so sorry I couldn't save you! So so sorry

I was just standing there mouth wide open with chocolate pudding dripping from my beautiful curls to my cute floral shirt!!!!

*Let's have a moment of silence for my shirt, curls and most importantly,😭😭😭, the FOOD!!!!!😭😭😭!!!!!*

"H-how could y–you do that to food?!!" I said sounding really angry which caused everyone to turn and look at me.

"How dare all of you!!! Wasting food!!? Just because most of you are rich and all doesn't mean you should,waste food!", I say,

"Precious food is all gone.

People need food, some people are eating from left overs, expired food, cold food , what ever they can get and look at you all you've got the privilege and your here doing all of this acting like children. Probably even worse."
I say and mutter the last part out and look at them some covered in sauce, noodles, cake juice , pudding, etc.

They all look ashamed and regretful and disgusted they don't look like they are disgusted in me, more like in themselves.

I eye-search through the crowd and look for my blonde and black haired friend. Then I spot them, they were cleaning Tina's sauce covered shirt with Connor brushing out things from his hair with his fingers. It looked like

..........worms, wait,what? No!!!

It's looks like ........noodles. *sigh*

Then I look at myself and see I'm covered in pudding, how did I get.....
Oh, I remember!!

"You!!", I said approaching Natalie,"This is some really good pudding which you wasted." I said glaring at her.

"This is for the beautiful chocolate pudding, which was made with the most beautiful chocolate, *punch* ....ever ."  I say and shake the tiniest blood of my hand and I hear a few gasps.

Then Natalie grabs my curls and pulls my hair hard. I scream.

Then there are more gasps.

From those gasps, I hear a different type of gasp, a Principal type of gasp and before I can turn around I hear,
"Ms. Roland and Mr.Richards  report to my office. Now!!!"

My last thought was...........

I mean the drama tho. I never actually thought I could write with tea inside but ya learn something about yourself everyday.
Anyways , how are you all? Like how are you?
Isn't school draining or what?

And also remember not to waste Food!!!

I've not really seen tons of peeps do this but,  I want all of you to know the Black lives matter movement is still going on.
As a black girl who lives in a country, (Ghana), which all people are black and accepted I haven't really gotten any racist comments or anything like that.
Anyways, I'm probably rambling at this point so  I want to use this opportunity to tell all of you to keep protesting because we need it.

Black lives matter ,
#blm,
We need justice,
No justice no peace!!!!

I hoped you've also learnt a lesson from this chapter, stop wasting food it's rude.
