The whole stadium cheered his name, the roof almost blowing off! Sneakers screeched. Thumps of the basketball hitting the floor echoed through the whole room with occasional yells and calls from the players.

You sat on the bleachers, holding onto your breath as your eyes followed every movement of his. One final buzz, you jumped up. Your hands fisted as the star player celebrated with his teammates. It took him quite a while to notice your presence. But, the moment he did, he started walking towards you.

"It's your game next, isn't it?" He asked, looking at you. "Yeah! Good game, Cha!" You said, patting his shoulder and starting towards your locker room. The crowd which was on the bleachers grew in number. The clock ticked away to the final match of the season. And Eun Woo was on the bleacher, surrounded by his friends.

Like you had been when his game was going on. You changed out of your black sweatshirt and pants into your basketball jersey and shorts. A voice from the other side of the changing room made you stop in your tracks.

"Hey, guys! Eunwoo sunbae is on the bleachers. I heard he's here to watch someone specific. Who could it have been?" "Yah! Don't you know? It's the captain of the other team. He's here for her." Said another voice.

"I really don't understand what's so special about her. Cha Eunwoo is the iceberg of this school, she's the only one he talks to. Tch!" The side of your lips curled up in a smirk that did not go unnoticed b your teammates.

"Aish! She's so done for." Your co-captain and small-forward said, smirking. "She's the point guard for the opposition team, Captain." Your team's point guard said, flipping her hair.

"Aish guys! Stop focusing on her and concentrate on the game. It's the finals and, I am not wishing to miss by an inch." Your voice grew stern. Your teammates were used to it. The way you never held back at yelling, criticizing, and praising them was what made you good at what you did. You were the type of person who liked to focus on one thing at a time. When you were playing, nothing in this world existed for you. The only thing you saw was the basketball and the hoop at the other end of the polished court.

And so you did.

You weren't any taller than 5'6. Still, you had skills and tactics enough to be the centre of the team. You stood close to your basket, your eyes roaming all over the court. And someone else's eyes were fixated on you.

You were doing everything in your power to make the circular ball enter the hoop because something more than just the championship depended on this win. In your whole life, you had never been the one to wait. You just went for it. Whatever you did, you never thought twice. Because if there was one thing you feared the most.

Regrets.

You did not want to regret anything in life. You did not want to spend your last days counting the things you did not do because you were just too hesitant. You knew you were in trouble. The day this guy made you feel all flustered.

So, you walked to him. And emptied your confused and tangled emotions to him.

"Cha Eunwoo, do you wanna be my boyfriend?" Never mind, how you did. Because that was a disaster!

And he actually considered it. Cha Eunwoo actually considered your proposal. Though you were not gonna admit it, you were blown out of your wits. That the said 'iceberg' of the school considered your feelings of all the girls in the school.

The adrenalin junkie and the iceberg together. Now, that was one heck of a combination!

But neither you nor your classmates were getting to enjoy this combo anytime soon.
Because the iceberg put on a date. If you won, Cha Eunwoo would tell you his answer. Otherwise, you could wonder for the rest of your life what his answer would be. So you knew you had to win this. Otherwise, this gonna be one of your first regrets in life.

Asking Cha Eunwoo to be his girlfriend and did not even get a clear answer. As if you wanted to live with that. Tch! You saw your team's forward throw the ball your way, which you effortlessly caught and dribbled forward to the basket.

"10 seconds!" Your co-captain yelled from the other end of the court. You knew you had to finish this. Dodging the opposing team's centre, you dribbled forward with the clock ticking by.

The point guard was just there. Glancing sideways, you knew whatever had to be done had to be done by you. Alone. You dribbled, glancing once at the clock, 7 more seconds.

Charging, you faked another throw to your centre and distracted the point guard. That split-second distraction is what you needed. Pushing yourself up, you grabbed the edge of the basket.
You shoved the ball inside, hanging to the basketball hoop as the final buzzer sounded.

Hanging from the basket, you yelled out in ecstasy! Your lips stretched in an ear-to-ear grin as your team gathered below you cheering and grinning along with the whole court.
The roof was blown off with the yells and screams of your supporters as you let go, effortlessly landing on your feet amidst your team. Engrossed in screaming, yelling, fist-bumping, and hugging, neither you nor the crowd around noticed the small group of boys approaching you.

It was your point guard who noticed them. Soon, you looked at them. And needless to say, your eyes went wide! Cha Eunwoo was walking towards you, accompanied by his whole gang, and that sneaky little shit was smirking! Lord, help you! If it was what you were thinking it was, you were gonna faint!

"Good game!" Sanha said, shaking your hand. You smiled at him. "So Winning Captain wanna go with me?" Eunwoo said, putting an arm around you.

That one single action made the whole crowd gawk at the two of you. Suddenly, a high-pitched laugh broke the silence. It was the point guard of the other team. She seemed like holding onto the last strand of hope as she eyed Eunwoo's arm around you.

"Why would she go with you? It's not like you guys are dating, are you?"

Before you could even open your mouth, you felt the arm resting on your shoulder drop down to your waist. And then yank! You were almost nose-to-nose with Eunwoo! The whole court gasped as one and boy! The sight of the blown-away faces of the other team was beyond surprise!

"Starting today, we are." He said, lightly bumping your head with his."We are?" You asked, still not able to process the whole thing. "Have a doubt?" He asked, smirking slightly.

Moving swifter than he did on the court, he grabbed your waist and lifted you onto the bench for the cheerleaders. And even before the yelp of surprise could leave your lips, Eunwoo covered your mouth with his. If this was a dream, please let yourself wake up now because this is something that you didn't even daydream about.

You were kissing Cha Eunwoo! In the middle of the basketball court! While more than half the school watched you! "Yes!" He whispered against your lips. And so help you, Lord! You almost fainted.
