Everything at Alexandria was different, everyone was on edge, scared. Nervous that they won't get enough supplies to give to negan.
But Jaycee and Michonne were smart. They hid some guns and supplies they wanted to keep. Jaycee even hid her own sniper, because she didn't want to loose that.
And these saviours weren't gonna do shit about it. Jaycee wanted to keep her family safe, she didn't want anyone else to die.
Not by the hands of negan and his men. They didn't know when negan was going to turn up and collect their things. Hell, they had gone in so many runs to get things, and they couldn't find anything.
Jaycee left her house, seeing Rosita and Spencer drive past, going on their search for things.
Jaycee moved towards them, Eugene just sitting there, fixing a radio. "Want me to open the gate?" Jaycee asked as she leaned on the window on rositas side.
"Yeah, because this idiot is too bothered about a shitty radio." Rosita glared at Eugene, making Jaycee shake her head, going towards the gate.
But vehicles approaching made her stop, turning to the three behind her. Then whistling. It was the saviours. "Oh, I am not opening that." Jaycee shook her head as she moved away from the gate.
Somsine banged on the gate three times: "little pig, little pig, let me in!" It was negan.
Jaycee definitely was not opening that gate. But Spencer moved to open the gate, Jaycee moving to stand beside Rosita, arms crossed.
"Well?" Negan looked over at Spencer, bat on his shoulder.
Spencer just stood there, looking around. "Uhm, who are you?" Spencer asked him with a raised brow. Jaycee shook her head, leaning her body on the car.
"Oh, you better be jokin'." Negan grinned as he stared at Spencer. "Negan, Lucille. I know I had to make a pretty strong first impression."
Jaycee rolled her eyes at she turned around, Rick walking past her as he patted her shoulder, eyes on negan. "Adeline's with Judith at yours." He whispered to her as Jaycee nodded her head, there was no way in hell negan would know about Judith.
"Well, hello, there." Negan grinned at Rick as Jaycee leaned off of the car, following Rick as Rosita did so too. "Do not make me have to ask?" His grin faltered.
"It's human decency to ask to enter in someone's home, clearly you lack that." Jaycee simply shrugged her shoulders. "Should we also bow down, your majesty?"
Negan raised his brows, the grin re-appearing on his face as he moved to look at Jaycee. "I mean, if you're offering." He smirked as Jaycee scoffed, shaking her head. Rick gave her an anxious look, making her bite down on her tongue. "I'll let that slide, because, personally, I like you." He grinned as he pointed at her as Jaycee went to say something else, but Rick spoke up.
"You said a week." Rick said to negan, opening the actual gate. "You're early." The gate creaked as he opened it for negan and his men.
"I missed you." Negan grinned at Rick as walkers growled in the distance, which made negan turn around. "Oh, Rick, come on out here. Watch this." He backed up as he walked towards the walker. "Calling it!"
Negan walked towards the walker and smacked it over the head with his bat, making him laugh. "Easy peasy lemon squeezy!" He grinned as he turned around to face them. "All right, everybody. Let's get started." He turned to his crowd of men and Jaycees eyes widened. Daryl. "Big day." Jaycee glared at Dwight, who was standing beside Daryl, with his jacket and his crossbow.
"Hey, Rick, you see that, what I just did? That is some service!" He grinned as he turned from Rick to Jaycee. "Is that human decency?" He licked his bottom lip as Jaycee titled her head. "I mean, we almost get turned away at the gate. Who is that guy, anyway?" He pointed at Spencer. "Do I get mad? Do I throw a fit? Do I bash some ginger's dome in?" Jaycee narrowed her eyes. "Nope. I just take care of one of these dead pricks that could've killed one of y'all." He gestured a bow, grin on his face. "Service."
He grinned as he walked towards Rick, holding out his bat. "Hold this." He handed it to negan as the man walked into their home. "Hot dignity dog! This place is magnificent! An embarrassment of riches, as they say. Yes, sir, I do believe you are gonna have plenty to offer up." He pointed at Rick with a grin.
Jaycee turned around to look at Daryl with a sad expression, then turning back to began with a glare. "Daryl, hey." Rick went to move towards him.
"No." Negan stopped him. "No. Nope." He moved to stand in-between Rick and Daryl. "He's the help. You don't look at him, you don't talk to him, and I don't make you chop anything off of him." He then turned to Jaycee and Rosita, who was looking at Daryl. He stood in front of them both. "Same goes for everyone..." but the two girls didn't falter, no, they remained how they were. "Right?"
Rosita glared at him, moving away as Jaycee stayed in her place. "Free country..." Jaycee tilted her head. "right?" She gave him a sarcastic smile as she followed Rosita, brushing past him as she stood to the side.
Negan grinned as he did a weird movement, turning to Rick, exhaling sharply. "A lot of suspense there." He signalled to Jaycee. "I don't think she even knew how much. Or, maybe she did." He smirked at Rick. "All right, let's get this show on the road." He told his men. "See what kind of goodies you got in the cupboard."
"We put aside half of the supplies." Rick said, making negan turn around.
"No, Rick." Negan shook his head. "No. You don't decide what we take. I do." Negan moved closer. "Arat." He pointed to a girl, making her move forward.
"You heard the man. Move out!" She told the men as they all started to move into Alexandria.
Jaycee wished Adeline and Judith would be okay. She left rositas side as she walked over to her house, making sure no Saviours followed her.
She quickly ran up the stairs to her house, opening the door and closing it behind her. "Addie." Jaycee called out for her daughter.
She heard movement upstairs, making her go up the steps and towards Adeline's room, softly knocking before opening the door.
"Theyre here? Right?" Adeline softly said as she played with Judith. "Take all our shit."
"Yeah. But my priority is you and Judith. He can't know about Judith." Jaycee said as she crouched down, running her hand over Judith's head.
"I know, Rick told me. Don't worry, I'll make sure they don't come in here." Adeline nodded her head as Jaycee smiled, pressing a kiss against her head.
"I'll make sure they don't come near this house. But if they do, hide Judith." Jaycee told her as Adeline nodded her head.
Negan put away the camera one of his men gave him, handing it back. "I really gotta shave this shit." He looked around at his men before looking at Rick. "Where did the funny hot one go? Jaycee, right?" Negan asked as Rick looked up at him. "I would love to see her again, maybe bring her back with me." Negan smirked as Rick clenched his hands into a fists.
"With her daughter." Rick simply said as negan hummed.
"The shaky one?" Negan asked with a grin. "Ah, she still have that jacket my goodie of a son gave her?" Rick frowned at his word. "Well, let's go see." Negan patted ricks shoulder, "which way?"
Jaycee was smart, she hid anything important or crucial in her house, knowing the saviours would go through every house.
She had broken one of the floorboards, placing everything under that before screwing it back down, covering it with a rug.
Thats when her front door opened, an anxious Rick walking in, making Jaycee nod her head. Judith was okay.
A whistle from behind Rick made Jaycee roll her eyes, leaning on her kitchen counter. "Aint this a cozy house." Negan grinned as he looked around, moving past Rick as Daryl stood at the doorway.
He looked over at Jaycee, who had a glare on her face. "Do you all just automatically share the same look?" Negan looked over at Rick, then Jaycee. "The glare and the narrowed eyes. Shit, I mean, it looks better on you than him." Negan smirked as Jaycee gave him a disgusted look.
"Take whatever you want." Jaycee sighed, shrugging her shoulders. "Food, paintings if you're an art kind of guy." She told him, pointing at her walls.
But negan didn't reply as he looked around the house, making Jaycee turn to Rick, who was still holding negans bat.
"This yours?" negans voice made her turn, rolling her eyes as he held a cowboy hat. "This is definitely yours. Now the country accent makes sense." He grinned as he moved towards Jaycee, placing it on her head. She glared up at him as he chuckled. "Now we just need to get you a horse and some cowboy boots."
"Aint you comedic." Jaycee grumbled at she took it off of her head and placed it down on the counter.
There was a thud from upstairs, making Jaycee immediately turn to Rick, whose face dropped. Negan looked up, then back down at Jaycee. "That your kid?"
"Probably." Jaycee shrugged her shoulders as negan raised his brows walking towards the steps.
Jaycee carefully moved past him, the rest following behind her, she hoped Adeline had hid Judith or something.
"Addie?" Jaycee spoke as she opened the door, seeing her daughter on her bed, reading a book. Judith not in sight.
"Yeah? Sorry I dropped my b-" Adeline looked up from the book, her face faulting as she saw who was behind Jaycee. "Great." She sighed as she closed her book, placing it down.
"Aren't you a bundle of joy!" Negan grinned as Adeline tilted her head. "Don't worry, kid. It's all peaceful here."
"Debatable-" A shot interrupted Adeline's words as Jaycee's heart dropped. She turned to negan, whose face dropped.
It came from ricks house. Jaycee quickly closed Adeline's door, exciting her house as negan, Rick and Daryl followed.
They walked in seeing Carl holding a gun at a saviour. "You die." He told the Saviour as Jaycee anxiously watched Negans reaction.
"Carl, carl, put it down." Rick told his son, raising his hand.
"No. He's taking all of our medicine." Carl shook his head at his father. "They said only half our stuff."
"Of course." Negan nodded his head as he stood in front of Carl, chucking. "Really, kid?"
"And you should go." Carl turned to him, gun still on the saviour. Jaycee rubbed her temple as she turned to Rick, who was just as anxious as she was. "Before you find out how dangerous we all are."
"Well, pardon me, young man." Negan tilted his head. "Excuse the shit out of my goddamn French, but..." he grinned. "Did you just threaten me?" He asked Carl. "Look, I get threatening davey here, but I can't have it. Not him, not me. Even the cow girls daughter has some respect." He pointed at Jaycee, who just glared at him.
"Carl, just put it down-"
"Don't be rude, Rick." Negan raised his hand at Rick, shaking his head. "We are having a conversation here." He pointed between him and Carl. "Now, boy, where were me?" He tilted his head, raising his brows. "Oh, yeah. Your giant, man-sized balls. No threatening us."
Jaycee watched nervously, biting down on her tongue. She didn't care about what would happen to her if she said something that negan disagreed with. But, Carl?
"Listen, I like you, so I don't want to go hard proving a point here. You don't want that. I said half of your shit, and half is what I say it is." Carl kept his gun raised. "I'm serious. Do you want me to prove how serious?" He tilted his head. "Again?"
They all watched anxiously as Carl lowered his gun, letting out a sigh as he passed it to Rick. Then negan took it out of ricks hands.
"You know, Rick, this whole thing reminds me that you have a lot of guns. There's all the guns you took from my outpost when you wasted all my people with a shit-ton of your guns, and I'm bettin' there's even more, which adds up to an absolute..." Negan titled his head. "Ass load of guns, and as this little emotional outburst just made crystal clear...I can't allow that." He smirked at Rick. "They're all mine now."
Jaycee narrowed her eyes, she was glad she hid her guns. "So tell me, Rick. Where are my guns?" Negan asked him.
Negan had found out two guns were missing. Jaycee was glad she never took her gun to the infirmary.
And now, they were threatening to kill Olivia, even though Jaycee tried to say it was her who messed up counting the guns and it was her fault, but Negan didn't believe it.
So they had a meeting, but nobody fessed up. But not everyone was in the church. Rosita, Spencer, Michonne. They were all out.
So everyone was searching for the two guns, they didn't want to Olivia or anyone else to die.
But Rick found them. So, they left the house, seeing a saviour in front of Enid. Jaycee clenched her jaw as she watched the interaction. "Balloons? You goin' to a party, little girl?" The man smirked down at Enid.
Jaycee just waited for the man to give her one opportunity to punch him. "Can I keep them, please?" Enid asked as she looked at the green balloons. "It's just...let me keep them." She pleased.
The man moved closer as Jaycee narrowed her eyes, more of the saviours surrounding Enid. The man stroked her cheek as Jaycee bit down on her tongue, watching him drop her balloons on the floor.
Jaycee didn't give time for Rick to stop her as she walked towards Enid, softly grabbing her arm and pulling her back. "Is there a problem?" Jaycee sighed as she looked up at the man with narrowed eyes. "Or can she go?"
The man didn't say anything as Jaycee picked up the green balloons, handing them to Enid. "Fucking Creep." She gave him a dirty look as she pulled Enid away from the saviours.
"Thank you." Enid sent her a small smile as Jaycee squeezed her shoulder, walking over to the rest as Rick gave negan the guns.
"Well, would you look at that?" Negan grinned down at the black bag of guns. "They were here after all. Funny how a little, 'holy shit! Somebody's gonna die!' Lights a fire under everybody's ass!"
Olivia whimpered as Jaycee sent her a soft look, then looking back at negan with a glare. "So, tell me, Rick...which one of your fine folks almost cost Olivia the rest of her days?"
"It doesn't matter anymore." Rick shook his head.
"No, it matters." Negan sighed. "See, you need to get everybody on board. Everybody. Or...we just go right back to square one." He told Rick as a saviour closed the trucks shutters.
Negan and the saviours had left, and Jaycee waisted no time to watch them leave, going to her house to see her daughter, who was looking after Judith.
Most of everyone's shit was taken, even peoples mattresses had been taken. But nobody looted her house. So, she had two spare mattresses, giving one to Rick and Aaron.
Jayce had even offered her own mattress up, it wasn't fair she had one and some of them didn't. But, nobody wanted to take it.
Jaycee still had her guns, and nobody knew about that. And she wouldn't tell anyone. She wasn't loosing her sniper, she had had it for ages.
No saviourโor negan, was going to take it. Not when she was still breathing, anyways.
