Lucy Conner and her friends Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger return for their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, and Hagrid the Giant are joined by a new faculty member, Gilderoy Lockhart, a self-centered expert in Defense against the Dark Arts, and Sprout, who teaches Herbology.
