CIVIL WAR STAR AURORA DUNKIRK ABANDONS CAST DURING PREMIERE?

Aurora Dunkirk (Vika Sully in the latest Captain America instalment) was absent from the movie premiere in Los Angeles last night. She arrived with Chris Evans but was spotted leaving the car and entering the theatre from a side entrance instead of walking down the red carpet. The two are rumoured to be in a relationship.

"We definitely missed having [Aurora] on set, but it was for her health, so obviously she had to leave," Co-star and close friend Sebastian Stan said about the situation. "All we want for her- me and the rest of the cast- we want her to be safe and happy. If leaving the set early was best for her, then we're all gonna roll with it."

Her early departure meant trouble for directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who admitted having to reshoot most scenes due to Aurora's untimely disappearance.

"It was a little awkward, yeah. Some scenes that involved her and other characters needed pickup shots that she wasn't available for, so we had to substitute different characters for her lines. But obviously her mental and physical health comes first. As the director, you have to make sure your actors are the first and foremost priority. If she's not happy, then we're not happy, and you don't get a good film," said Joe Russo on the topic.
