 She sighed and turned on her chair, focusing on the gossip show playing on her TV.

"Captain America's Chris Evans was spotted taking a drive through Los Angeles with costar Aurora Dunkirk, who recently split from partner of two years. Is there a budding romance between the two celebrities? Find out after the break."

She rolled her eyes so far back that it hurt and searched through her contacts for a specific number.

"Hey, it's Chris-"

"Hey Chris, I-"

"I'm super busy right now but I'll get back to you as soon as possible. 

"Damn it," she grumbled, then dialled a different number. "Hey Lizzie."

"Did you watch it?" 

"Yeah. Why can't they just let us be friends?"

"Because, Hollywood," Elizabeth giggled. "Anyway... Oh, who was your tweet about?"

Aurora wedged her phone between her ear and her shoulder and began to rifle through a cupboard to find popcorn. "Just people in general. Since Chris posted that photo of me in bed I've been getting way more attention from fans and media outlets. I was walking back from the corner shop and someone practically spear-tackled me to ask questions."

"That sounds awful," Elizabeth cooed. The muffled sound of a door opening and closing came from her end of the call. "I've got to go, Aura. Talk tomorrow?"

"Yeah, sure," Aura agreed. "Night, Lizzie."

"Bye," Elizabeth answered distractedly. Aura rolled her eyes and tossed her phone onto the couch so she could shovel popcorn into her mouth.

"Popcorn, you're my only friend," she murmured.
