The godswood of the Red Keep is an acre of elm, alder and black cottonwood trees that overlook the Blackwater Rush. It is connected to the gardens. The heart tree was a great oak with limbs overgrown with smokeberry vines. After a Blackwood moved to King's Landing their Family donated a Weirwood Sapling which has grown through the years.
