AS THE NEWS HAD JUST AIRED, IN THE DORM ROOM OF SIDENY PRESCOTT. The air stood still, it was like time had frozen in that very moment.

She knew that the police had never caught Rose, Billy or Stu, but she didn't think they would be bold enough to make a move.

Such a large move at that. They had killed again and made it a public spectacle.

What also flashed through her brain was that they were also in the same state, Ohio.

'Had they followed her here?' She questioned herself, as she stared at the tv in front of her.

Her roommate Hallie, was looking in her closet trying to find what she was going to wear today. When she turned back around, she saw Sidney standing still as a board.

Walking over to her friend she also looked at the tv, what she saw in big red letters was Sidney's name.

She had heard some of things that Sidney's former friends did, but she didn't think it was this bad.

What she saw was straight up torment heading their way, and she now knew it was coming with big destruction.

Watching the news reporter explain the context of the scene what caught both of the woman off guard was the next statement.

"Police officials say that the bold message, was written in the victims blood."

Right after that statement was given, Hallie reached for the tv remote and cut the television off, not want herself or Sidney to here anymore of it.

Turning to the doeโ€”eyed girl, "Are you going to be okay, for today?" the concerned friend asked.

There was a beat of silence before Sidney answered.

"Um, yeah. I'll be alright, I just need to find Randy. Do you know where he is?"

"He's got film theory, this morning." Hallie replied, and Sidney nodded her head before leaving to get ready for the day.

Ready for the day, Sidney walked down the corridor receiving odd stares and whispers.

But the worst was yet to come, because as soon as she headed out of her dorm building she was bombarded with news reporters.

Asking her horrendous and vulgar questions.

Dodging all the reporters and cameras, Sidney made her across the campus to Randy's class.

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

"You could say that what happened in that theater, is a direct result of the movie itself." The class professor stated.

"That is so moral majority, you can't blame real life violence on entertainment." Cici stated, she was a petite blonde girl in Randy's class.

Her statement just so happened to cause a disruption, to everyone's opinion seeing as some didn't agree.

Everyone argued their views on the matter which caused Randy to say.

"Stab 2,who would want to do that. Sequels suck."

Offending the class even more than Cici already had.

"Oh please, please. By definition alone they're inferior films."

"It's bullshit generalization, many sequels have surpassed the original." Mickey shot back.

"Name one." Cici challenged, and Randy agreed.

Two boys in the front of the class gave their input, but overall their suggestions were dismissed.

Until Mickey's suggestion, "The God father, part 2."

And everyone agreed with his answer.

Soon the class ended, and Sidney finally made it, stopping by the doors entrance.

Randy saw her and rushed out of the room, but what neither of them saw, was Mickey watching the two intensively.

He knew that later on he would have to make a call to a certain sister of his.

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

"300 people watched, nobody did anything they thought it was a publicity stunt for Christ sakes." Sidney informed the boy as they exited the building.

"And it would've been a good one too." Randy mocked, with a voice change.

"It's starting again Randy, they even wrote me a message on the screen."

"It's not a lot of shit happens at the movies, people get robbed, shot, maimed, murdered. Multiplexes is a dangerous place to be these days. Plus it could be somebody trying to place a joke knowing it would get to you." Randy justified.

"You are in extreme denial."

"And you should be to, this has nothing to do with us."

"Randy a guy in a ghost mask hacked up two people in a movie theater telling our life story."

"Coincidence." The popular geek suggested.

"You know what happened at Woodsboro Randy, you can't ignore it. They are back and more ruthless than ever." Sidney said, as she stopped the tall boy from walking any further.

"I know Sid, and I don't wanna go back there again. Can't we just go back to our pseudo-quasi-happy existence โ€” hello Derek how ya doin?" Randy stated as he was still facing the short bobbedโ€” haired girl.

Walking over to them, Derek greeted Sidney. "Hey Sid, I've been looking everywhere. I heard, you weren't in class."

"Yeah, I know. I skipped, I couldn't take all of that her looks." She said, as they begin walking towards the field.

"Is there anything I can do?" Derek asked, worried for his girlfriend.

"You got any tricks for getting me back to a pseudo-quasi-happy existence?" Sidney asked, looking back at Randy.

"You know I might just have one for that." He stated in a slightly happier tone than before.

"Oh yeah, what is it?" Randy questioned.

And all Derek did was kiss Sidney, making Randy roll his eyes and look away from a couple.

Sidney smiled, " That was pretty good." as they walked off, leaving Randy behind.

"Get a room." He said to himself, then went to go catch up with fleeing pair.

Before catching up with his group of friends, Mickey made a call to his sister who was 20 minutes away from the college.

The phone rang twice before Rose picked up.

"What do you have for me today, dear brother?" She questioned, with a hint of enthusiasm in her voice.

Turning a corner to settle into a lonely alley, Mickey answered "Our spectacle seems to have ruffled some feathers. Sidney came to Randy's class today. You could practically see the terror written all over her face, but I do have to say, it doesn't look like it affected Randy as much."

Rose laughed, "Of course it didn't affect Randy. If the massacre in Woodsboro didn't affect him as much as it should, then I'm not surprised that this didn't either."

"On to phase 2 of the plan, tonight there's a mixer for a sorority that Sidney will be attending."

"That's perfect, can't wait to make my surprise appearance. It might just look like Sidney seen a ghost." Rose responded.

Mickey knew his sister was smirking over the phone, he could tell by her tone.

"So it's set then, I'll see you tonight?"

"You will see me tonight." Rose confirmed.

"All right, be careful. I'll see you later."

"I always am, bye."

The call ended. Mickey then started walking out of the alley, and started heading over to meet his friend group.

Sidney and her friends were hanging out.

They saw the press conference being held, while the sheriff tried to answer questions till they heard and saw Gale Weathers, asking her own important questions.

Turning away from the scene, Sidney was bombarded by the Delta lambdas, as they were asking her to come to their special mixer tonight.

Which Hallie agreed to for her, when they turned to leave sufficed with Hallie's answer, Sidney saw an old friend in the distance.

Taking off she ran to the man with a funny limp. "Dewey?" She called out in question.

And the man turned around, hearing his name.

Sidney ran up to hug him. "What are you doing here?"

" I was worried about you. I heard about what had happened, so I was on the next plane." He told her, as they finally finished hugging.

"Can we talk?" He asked, and she agreed.

Finding a clear spot to sit down, Dewey asked "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine Dewey...I was, were okay until now." Sidney admitted, looking off into the distance.

"But ah, theater is going great I got my first starring role in 2 days."

"That is great." Dewey praised.

"And uh, I got some great friends. And I'm seeing someone, this guy in preโ€”med no apparent psychotic tendencies." Sidney stated, laughing a little.

Dewey didn't say anything at first until he spoke up a few seconds after, "I was just worried...look Sid, if they're back and nobody has spotted them, then they could be working with somebody else, somebody new, and chances are you probably already know, him or herโ€”them."

"They could probably, already be in your life. They get off on that. I just want you to be careful Sid." He explained gently.

Sidney nodded, then stood up and walked over to a support beam.

She sighed, "You don't think I know that Dewey. What am I supposed to do? Cut everybody off, crawl under a rock? What?"

Her worries made Dewey sigh as well, "Just watch out, keep an eye out. I'm going to talk to chief Hartley and the local police. I'm going to just hang around, I wanna make sure you're safe. If that's all right with you?"

"Yeah, I'd be honored." Sidney smiled.

"Alright Sid." Dewey said as he turned to leave.

Miles away from Windsor College, Rose was in the living room trying to find something to watch on the tv.

Flipping through the channels, she saw a familiar face flash on one of the channels she had just passed.

Going back, she saw her scream queenโ€”Sidney Prescott on the news channel but not just any news channel Gale Weathers news channel.

"Oh this is gonna be good." She said, as she got comfortable in her position on the couch.

Looking at the tv she could see Sidney looking more paler than ever.

But now she looked almost as transparent like a ghost, as Cotton Weary stepped onto the scene.

"Confrontation these days. That's so brutal of you Gale." She chuckled, seeing the girls expressions.

"Here we are at Windsor College with Sidney Prescott, who has just been reunited with Cotton Weary for the first time since she wrongly accused him of murdering her motherโ€”"

"What the hell are you doing?" Sidney asked interrupting Gale's speech.

"Note to self, tell Billy to buy popcorn on his next grocery run." Rose stated watching the tv, finding the most humor in the situation.

"We wanna know how you feel, tell us everything that's happened looking back on the last few years?"

"Sidney, I just would like to say that I forgive and forget, just like you I would like to get back on with my own life." Cotton said, looking down on the girl.

"Do you have any comments?" Gale asked pointing the mic back to Sidney.

Rose could see the underlying anger boiling up on Sidney's face as the camera was pointed at her.

"You bitch!" Sidney said, getting ready to lunge at her.

Gale backed up seeing the girls' movements.

"Ah-Ah" Gale stated shaking a finger.

Then Rose saw, what looked like a new friend group trying to comfort Sidney.

"Oh Sidney share with us please." Gale overstepped.

Next thing you know Gale was getting back hand slapped on live television again.

And that sent Rose into a fit of laughter.

"This is better than reality tv."

Sidney tried going at Gale some more but then a boy pulled her back.

"Well, what do we have here? Is this the boy toy, I see Sidney?" Rose asked herself looking at the blue eyed boy as he dragged Sidney away.

"Did you get that on film?" A brown skinned girl asked.

"Yes I got that on film." The camera man sang.

"And so did Mickey." Rose smiled seeing her brother in the frame holding up his own camera.

Mickey and Rose being a sociopathic duo is the best thing ever.
