Tubbo's entire family except himself were going to an event the entire day, so Tubbo would be alone for an entire day after making him promise to behave the entire time. He was glad to have alone time without his sisters or parents. However, he wished he could text one person, Avon. They heard that Niki and Alex were able to get in touch with her after the tweet went out about her family, but he still felt as if he should talk to her about it. Ranboo, Tommy, and Tubbo all expressed their feelings about missing their internet mother but they have no idea how to get into contact with her other than through Niki, Alex, Karl, or Quin. Tubbo grabbed his phone and decided to go out on a walk to clear his head. He went to his messages and clicked on Ranboo's contact to text:

Tubbo smiled softly at his friend caring so much, he also sent his location to Tommy after telling him. He finally got to the park and sat down, just watching the scenery.

Avon was laying down with her head in Xylo's lap as the two roommates watched Criminal Minds. Then her phone started ringing and Avon instinctively picked up,

Avon frowned in confusion, 

"Yes, this is Avon Sadler," 

"I have you listed under as an emergency contact for a Mister Toby Smith, do you know him?" 

Avon immediately sat up, 

"Yes, what's wrong? What happened to him?" 

"Nothing too serious. He hurt his ankle and a passerby saw him and called an ambulance. He is currently in a room getting x-rays. We tried calling his parents and no one answered so the next thing to do is call emergency contacts," 

Avon nodded and slipped on her shoes, 

"What hospital?" 

"The *****, how long will it take you to get here?" 

"Uhhhh...twenty minutes,"

Xylo glanced up at Avon finally and looked at her in confusion, Avon immediately just made a signal of driving a steering wheel and Xylo nodded.

"Alright Miss Sadler, I will let Toby know you are coming," 

Avon's eyes widened, 

"Uh wait. Please do not inform him...I want it to be a surprise, we haven't talked in a while,"

"Alright, bye," 

"Bye!" 

Avon glanced at Xylo, 

"Will be gone for a while, don't stay up! Love you bye!" 

"Bye!" 

Avon sprinted outside and got in the car she rented, she quickly sped down the road, completely forgetting about speed limits but not caring.

Tubbo winced as the doctor tried moving his ankle again, 

"Ouch," 

The doctor looked up at him, 

"So, it's not entirely broken from what I can see, but the x-rays will be able to tell us for sure,"

"Thanks, doctor,"

Avon ran into the hospital after 'carefully' parking the rental car. 

"Hello? Here for Toby Smith!" 

A nurse walked up to her, 

"You must be Miss Sadler, we just need you to fill out some forms for us," 

Avon nodded, 

"Alright, I have all of his info on me," 

The nurse nodded, 

"So are you a distant relative?" 

Avon scratched the back of her head before shaking it, 

"Uh, no...I met him a few months ago, almost a year ago, and he's basically my lil brother. His parents trust me so they put me down as an emergency contact, especially since I can get here as soon as possible," 

Avon originally thought that the Smiths were joking about her being an emergency contact for Tubbo, but apparently, they weren't, even after she told them that she was going to be blocking out everyone except for a handful of people. The nurse nodded and gave her a stack of papers, 

"Here, just fill these out and after, I'll take you to see him," 

Avon nodded and quickly sat down. She took out her phone and quickly texted in two group chats:

Avon quickly finished the paperwork and gave it back to the nurse, 

"Done, can I see Toby now?" 

The nurse quickly nodded, 

"Yes, right this way," 

Avon nervously followed the nurse until they reached a room. The nurse smiled kindly at Avon, 

"Right inside is Toby, the doctor will be in after they get the results from the x-rays,"

Avon nodded, 

"Thank you," 

Avon glanced at the doorknob before taking a deep breath and opening it slowly. She looked and saw that Tubbo was laying down on a bed. Avon smiled softly, 

"Hello, Tubs," 

Tubbo immediately sat up and stared at Avon, 

"A-Avon?" 

Avon smiled softly and walked up to his bed and put a hand on his shoulder, 

"It's me, kid," 

Tubbo smiled hugely and felt some tears leave his eyes and Avon hugged him.

"I-I can't believe that you are here! H-How?" 

Avon chuckled softly as she sat down on the bed next to him, her arm wrapped around his shoulder, 

"I came to London to visit the graves of my family like I always do. I ran into Niki at the gravestones and we talked a bit...then Alex came running over and we reunited of course. Then I decided to stay a bit longer in London. I came here with my new roommate, Xylo...I met them a bit after I moved out of my place in New York. A while ago, your parents joked about having me as an emergency contact and I guess they didn't lie about that," 

Tubbo nodded, 

"I thought you changed your number?" 

Avon sighed sadly, 

"I...I gave all your parents my number just in case something happened to you three...I'm sorry Tubs...I just really needed to get my mind off anything related to streaming." 

Tubbo frowned sadly but nodded, 

"I understand," 

He put his head against her shoulder and smiled, 

"I missed you," 

Avon smiled softly and ruffled his hair softly, 

"I missed you too,"

Tubbo glanced up at her momentarily,

"Will you leave once my parents get here?" 

Avon sighed, 

"I don't know...I don't particularly want to," 

Tubbo smiled, 

"Do you want to talk to Tommy and Ranboo?? Like when we get back home, or maybe soon?" 

Avon smiled softly at him and nodded, 

"Sure," 

Tubbo smiled brightly at her and she chuckled. Then a doctor came in, 

"Okay. The good news is that it's not broken, it's only sprained. You will need to be on crutches for a week and you should limit the number of times you use that ankle. Whenever you are sitting down, you should prop it up in a chair to maintain blood flow," 

Avon nodded, 

"Any medication?" 

The doctor shook his head, 

"If it is starting to hurt, I recommend just some Advil," 

Tubbo nodded, 

"Can I go now?" 

The doctor glanced at Avon, 

"Yes, we just need your guardian to sign off," 

Avon nodded, 

"Where do I sign?"  

The doctor gave her a form to sign and Tubbo got his ankle wrapped and was given crutches. Avon smirked, 

"Come on Tubs, we gotta get you able to use these," 

Tubbo groaned, 

"I hate these," 

Avon giggled as she watched him miserable fail at lifting his body up to move forward. Tubbo looked at Avon, 

"I am a gamer, upper body strength is not my thing," 

Avon giggled again and patted his head, 

"Well, you gotta get used to it, Tubs," 

Tubbo sighed and glared at the floor, 

"I hate this," 

Avon shrugged, 

"Well, next time don't sprain your ankle," 

Tubbo rolled his eyes at her, 

"It's not my fault!" 

Avon smirked, 

"Suuure," 

She opened the door and helped him inside her rental car, 

"Alright, let's get going...you never moved right? I still have ur address," 

Tubbo nodded, 

"The same one," 

Avon pulled up right in front of the small house and immediately helped Tubbo out, 

"Do you want me to carry you up the stairs?" 

Tubbo looked at her, 

"You are basically the same height as me, I don't think it would work," 

Avon shrugged, 

"You never know!" 

Tubbo laughed, 

"You can help support me...just make sure both of us stay alive!" 

Avon smirked and nodded, 

"I will," 

Strategically, they made it up the stairs and into Tubbo's room. Avon immediately put his crutches against his desk and helped him sit down in his chair in front of his monitors. She took a chair and sat down outside of the camera's view. Tubbo glanced at her, 

"You sure you wanna?" 

Avon smiled and nodded, 

"Yes, I'm sure," 

Tubbo smiled and immediately called Tommy and Ranboo on discord. Ranboo texted him VC 2 so Tubbo joined that, 

"GUYS! YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!" 

Tommy immediately responded, 

"WHAT HAPPENED TUBBO?" 

"WELL!" 

"Wait, how was your walk Tubbo?" 

"Oh, I sprained my ankle-" 

"WHAT?!" 

Tubbo and Avon winced at the loud what after Tubbo answered Ranboo's question. Tubbo shrugged, 

"Yeah, I sprained my ankle...pretty bad apparently, but it's fine! It's fine. I mean, It's why I got to see someone again!"

Ranboo has been streaming for around an hour by the time that he saw that Tubbo was trying to call Tommy and himself.

Ranboo texted Tubbo to join the VC and he smiled when he heard the familiar notification of someone joining the voice channel,

Tommy glanced at his second monitor,

"WHAT HAPPENED TUBBO?"

"WELL!"

Ranboo then remembered that Tubbo just went out on a walk,

"Wait, how was your walk Tubbo?"

"Oh, I sprained my ankle-"

Ranboo and Tommy were both surprised that he said that so calmly,

"Yeah, I sprained my ankle...pretty bad apparently, but it's fine! It's fine. I mean, It's why I got to see someone again!"

Avon nodded and sighed, 

"God damnit...I'm sorry Tubs...I'm okay now...just surprised...You should continue talking to them, okay? Have some fun on Ranboo's stream, please...I'll go downstairs and clean everything up, okay?" 

Tubbo sighed, 

"I want to spend time with you too," 

Avon smiled softly at him and ruffled his hair, 

"And you will...I promise that I won't leave before we spend some time together,"

"Great!" 

With that, Avon went downstairs to start cleaning up and Tubbo undeafened, 

"Uh, so how are both of you?" 

Ranboo laughed, 

"You didn't know I was streaming?" 

Tubbo rolled his eyes, 

"I haven't looked at my phone since I hurt my ankle," 

"Fake fan," 

Tubbo sighed dramatically, 

"Sorry if I was busy getting x-rays and learning how to use crutches," 

Tommy glanced at his screen, 

"Crutches? How badly did you sprain your ankle?" 

Tubbo chuckled nervously, 

"Uh, I literally have no idea how it happened haha...but yeah I just need to rest and prop up my foot and use my crutches...and be careful...but I have help to make sure I am careful," 

Ranboo facepalmed, 

"Chat, we told Tubbo to share his location with us since he was home alone and decided to go on a walk...but he NEVER mentioned that he went to the hospital, no text or anything," 

Tubbo chuckled, 

"Sorry I was too busy being in pain," 

Tommy sighed,

"I have no idea...but I want to talk to you three again,"

"I'm...I'm doing better. This huge break from everything has really been helping me with everything. There were days where I wanted to text you three to make sure everything was alright...but I really just needed to get everything in check."
