"Any luck with him?" I ask.
"Not yet Gimli." Aragorn sighs.
"He's almost as stubborn as a dwarf." I huff.
"Let him come to us when he's ready." Aragorn says.
"And how long will that be?" I ask.
"I don't know yet, Master Gimli." Aragorn says.
"There you two are. I want you to come with me." Theoden King says.
I nod. We walk with Theoden to the outer gate. I look around with my axe held. My thoughts to Legolas. He's distance. He's quivering like an arrow flying. His mind is disoriented. He's acting like a bird with a broken wing.
"We will put defenses along the outer rim. These walls have never fell. I don't expect them too either." Theoden King says.
"These aren't a band of mindless orcs. These are Uruk-hai. Their spears are sharp, and their swords are broad." I say.
"I have fought many wars Master Dwarf. I have seen much." King Theoden says to me.
I nod respectfully. Still, he might be in over his head.
"Get some rest you two. The night is going to be brutal." King Theoden says.
