𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕...

The place was full of crushed buildings and debries. Hundreds of humans burried beneath or littered dead on the ground. The scene was looking like it would be written in history forever. The new york city was once again in between chaos and destruction because of a little tantrum of a certain Norse god. Or such was thought by The Avengers. The mighty heroes protecting the earth. Or so they thought. Who didn't knew them?

●Tony stark aka Iron man. Genius, billionaire, ex-playboy, philanthropist.
●Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow.
A lethal trained Assasin and a S.H.I.E.L.D Agent.
●Bruce Banner aka Hulk. A genius doctor with 7 PhDs and uncontrollable anger issues.
●Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. A phenomenal archer
And S.H.I.E.L.D agent
●Thor aka God of thunder.
Legendary warrior of Asgard.
● Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
A war legend. America's golden boy.

These were the initial team members known as Avengers. A group of unique dysfunctional people who soon became each other's family. But now, avengers also included members like

●Peter Parker aka Spider-Man
●Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet witch and her brother
●Pietro Maximoff akka Quick silver
●Scott Lang aka Antman
●Sam Wilson
●Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier.
White wolf. A trained ex-hydra assasin.
● Colonel Rodes aka War Machine
● Dr. Stephen Strange aka The Wizard etc..

All were present on the battlefield fighting an army of aliens! The Aliens that were lead by Loki Odinson (Laufeyson). The adopted brother of thor. Each and every Avenger was busy protecting civilians and fighting aliens.

"Oh my god Mr.Stark! Did you see that! That one was particularly huge and-" Peter was on his habit of running commentary on coms. "I swear to God kid! More work and less talk." Tony retorted cutting the 15 years old hyperactive kid mid rant. "Okay! Understood sir!" Peter replied.

"Bruce, Wanda, Thor, Tony, Peter move towards the main ship and try to get hold of Loki. If we somehow capture him,the situation would be under control. Clint, Natasha, Pietro, Scott, Rhody try to destroy as much aliens as you can. Me and Stephen will try to protect as much civilians as we can and we all reach towards the main ship at last. Understood?" Steve Rogers ordered the team.

"I don't like the idea of my kid anywhere near the blasted ship." Tony muttered in coms yet heading towards the ship.

"I will be perfectly fine Mr. Stark." Peter replied his father figure not so discretely through coms making the team let out chuckles. Tony merily grunted. Confirmation of other members of the team ranged through the coms as they started to put captain's plan in action.

The team dispersed to their respective works. "Ow shit!" Clint muttered. "Are you okay bird brain?" Scott asked. "Sure. A li-ttle damage." He replied to scott. "Take care Mr. Clint Barton Hawkeye sir!" Peter exclaimed enthusiastically.
Clint grunted.

"Guys leave my brother for me. I want to handle him." Thor strictly stated through the coms. Team agreed.

And then the battle prevailed...

And finally the avengers were inside the ship. Loki descended down the steps regally with his golden crown, scepter in his hands and black and bottle green suit.

"Welcome Avengers. Or might I say circus." He chuckled. "Loki. I accepted every tantrum you did. I accepted you after you tried to kill me many times. I accepted you after everything you did. And this is how you repay me? I am tired loki. I re-ally am brother! How long huh? How long will we fight like this?

How long you will terrorize weak midgaurdians because a petty argument we had? Brother I love you. But your ways of showing your displeasure are not acceptable! If you have problem with me, then face me! Fight me! But please... Don't bother others like this." Thor finally broke down in front of his brother.

And something flashed in Loki's eyes. But it was gone as soon as it came. "Brother. You think everything is about you huh? The golden son. Mighty warrior, God of thunder! Real son of All father odin! You are selfish, coencited bastard who only thinks of himself!" Loki exclaimed.

Thor finally looked in his eyes. And frozed for a moment. Loki's normal black iris was covered with bright ruby red border. Before Thor could understand anything loki punched him. Avengers positioned themselves to protect thor. But the God just put his hand out to stop them. "This will be done by me and it will end today once and for all."he stated.

Loki smirked. "Sure brother." And the fight between two gods and brothers started...

Loki was struggling on the ground to get free from Thor's grip after an hour in their fight. Suddenly sound of clapping was heard. And there stood Laufey himself. "Very good! This is what I wanted. Loki is under my control. I tortured him and made him do this. He is just my puppet until the locket which is binding him is not broken. Son of Odin, hereafter either you will perish which will be my revenge from all father or loki will. Useless piece of trash. Not even worthy to call son." He said and dissapear.

And all the Avengers gasped. Loki was controlled. He was innocent! Thor looked at loki's chest and saw that damned locket glowing bright blue. And then he conjured his hammer Mjolnir. And he was about to strike loki with it when he realized his hammer could kill Loki too! And then he conjoured another celestial spear from Asgard.

But in the slight moment of doubt Loki got time to hit his spectrel square towards thor's chest. And at that moment thor threw the celestial sphere straight to Loki's chest on the locket.

BOOM

The loud sound with bright light came and everyone was thrown radially outwards colliding with walls of ship and shattering of glass and metal was heard. After the light dissappeared Thor glanced across and saw Loki sprawled on the floor with blue locket in pieces beside him. A sweet smile grazed his lips and he slipped into the darkness after registering the pain in his stomach. After all he succeeded in saving his precious little brother.

After some moments when Loki got consciousness and recalled what he did he frantically stood up and glanced towards opposite side. He saw thor lying there surrounded by avengers and his head in Peter's lap. He ran towards there and fell down on his knees beside thor. He pulled his weapon out of his brother's stomach and then started poking him.

"Thor. Thor. You stupid blonde oaf. Wake up. The game is finished. I won. Come on you baffon. Get up!" He said nonchalantly. Thor still didn't stir. All the avengers were looking at loki sympathetically.

"Come on Thor. Stop being over dramatic. This midgardians are fans of your acting. Okay brother! You won! Now get up." He tried again. Still thor didn't stir. Now loki was feeling scared. He began to shake.

"T-hor...br-other. I accept you won. Now pp-lease wake up. It's over....Th-orr...B-ig brother...I..I am sc-ared. I really am scared thor! Please Please Please wake up !" Loki begged. Still no movement. Now loki was terrified! Because no mater what, once loki says that he is scared...Thor puts everything aside just to comfort his little brother. Nothing can make fear loki when thor is by his side.

He leaned and shaked thor harshly. "Thor!!! THORR!!!! I AM SCARED!!! PLEASE!!!! MAN OF IRON!!! MAN OF SPIDER!!! SON OF STRANGE!!! SON OF BANNER!! DO SOMETHING...MY BB-ROTHER IS NOT WAKING UP!!! Plea-se...Pl-ease...." And now as reality of situation weighted on him loki broke down in hysterical sobs.

Tony, Bruce, Stephen didn't knew what to do as they were doctors for human and not God. Wanda, Peitro, Peter, Steve were sobbing. Bruce, Bucky, Tony, Scott, Stephen, Rhodey and Sam were in tears. Even Natasha's eyes were wet. They were just spectators to this heart wrenching scene. Loki took Thor in his arms on ground and burried his face in thor's armor claded chest.

"You were supposed to stop me." Loki cried, cradling thor's supposed lifeless body. "You were supposed to save the day! You had everything you needed to bring me down. So why?",Loki choked. "Why am I still here? What went wrong?" Loki's voice trembled as tears began to fall."Please wake up. I can't do this alone." He choked out.

" Thorr...Br-other...Pl-ease....I...I l-ove you. I love you brother. I am sorry. I rea-lly am sorry! I always am bother! I am we-ak!! I get easily defeated! I get easily manipulated! I am not as strong as you. I n-eed you to pr-otect me brother. I am sc-ared...I am alone without you. I don't know what to do! You are God!!! You can't die!! Plea-se brother...I would be good, I promise!

I will not bother you. I will not fight with you. I am sorry. I will listen to you big brother. Please come back! Pleaseeeee.....THORRR...I love you...I love you....big brother...." he began to mutter repeatedly burying his face in thor's chest and crying hysterically.

Here the avengers were sobbing looking at the brothers. Peter was crying in Tony's arm who had him tightly wrapped in his arms. "I love you son." Tony muttered in fear of losing peter some day. "I love you more dad." Peter replied finally calling his mentor,role model and father figure Dad.

Bucky and Steve were crying on each other's shoulder. Wanda and Peitro were wrapped around Clint all three of them crying. Natasha was in Bruce's arms both of them sobbing. Scott and Sam were holding each other with tears in their eyes. Stephen was standing beside clint with his eyes wet. None of them knew what to do.

"Br-other....Sc-ared....wake up...supposed to stop me.....save the day....bring me down...why am I here....went wrong.....can't do this alone......I l-ove you....THORR......re-ally am sorry.....am we-ak....n-eed you...prot-ect me brother.....Alone without you......be good....not fight you.....listen to you big brother.......Come back....sc-ared....Love you big brother......." these were the words thor heard while going in and out of consciousness.

He felt that he was in someone's lap and their head was burried into his side. As soon as he began to feel his surroundings he recognized Loki. And as soon as he felt him shaking while he registered the words loki spoke 'scared and love you big brother 'thor was the happiest person in the universe. He wrapped his arms around his brother and replied.

"Do-n't be scared baby brother. I love you too. You are so brave my baby brother. So strong loki."As soon as thor wishpered that all the people were startled out of their minds. Loki jerked up and hugged thor tightly. "You dumb baboon! Do you even know how sc-ared I was! I thought...I thought I lost you! Don't ever do this to me!"he said and again burried his head in thor's chest and cried tears of relief.

"And I am no baby!"he added muffled making every one laugh. Thor chuckled and hugged him tightly while carrasing his head lovingly. "Loki. I am sorry I let it happened to you again brother. I am not gonna let you out of my sight again. I will always protect you. I love you. Always remember that baby brother. You are so strong for enduring so much in your life. Will be always there for you."Thor said. Loki just hummed still not letting thor go.

"Glad you are alright Mr. Thor Odinson God of Thunder sir!" Peter said while bouncing in Tony's lap excitedly. And every one chuckled. "Do you like cheese burgers Mr. Loki Odinson Laufeyson sir?" Peter asked further. "Cheese burgers?" Loki asked making peter gasp dramatically. "It's amazing! You must have it sir! Mr Star---I mean Ton--no no Dad..let's get all of the team cheese burgers!!!" Peter exclaimed enthusiastically making team burst out laughing joyously.

And then and there they knew,
Everything will be fine when they are together as big dysfunctional family.

Family not by blood but by heart.
Protecting and taking care of each other.
