"what is going on here?" Samrat Bindusar questioned coming into the room. Kaurvaki explained everything. "Susheem this is very disturbing I here by take you of the mission!" Samrat stated. Kaurvaki thought Susheem would be disappointment but it was the exact opposite Susheem looked happy but he failed to show it. Judging by body language it is as if he planned this, but why??

"okay Pita Shri I will be heading to the palace!" Susheem packed his things and headed of back to the palace of Magadh. Kaurvaki gave a signal to Ashok, he understood and nodded. "as for you putri Kaurvaki why are you here this is no place for women!" Samrat questioned Kaurvaki. "forgive me Emperor Bindusar I was looking for Ashok till Princess Enkhara told me that he was here so I came here and well you know the rest!" Kaurvaki explained. "alright, you ran all the way here and it is to be night so rest here and tomorrow my guards shall escort you back to Magadh palace where you can stay before going to Kalinga!" Samrat offered. "thank you Samrat but this is off no need I can go myself!" Kaurvaki stated declining, Bindusar nodded and exited the chamber. Ashok and Kaurvaki went to Ashok's chamber in the campsite. Ashok sat Kaurvaki down and gave her some fresh cold water.

"now tell me what important thing did you want to say to me that you came running with your feet burning?" Ashok stated looking at the bruised feet of Kaurvaki. "oh this" pointing to her feet. "it's nothing but there's something about our wedding which will be changing!" Ashok kneeled down to Kaurvaki and held her hands. "what change Kaurvaki, tell me?" Ashok questioned comforting Kaurvaki. "my father has organised a Swayamvar and I said yes, meaning you have to participate and win me, I'm so sorry I agreed quickly because my father gave me freedom to my decisions and now he made take a Swayamvar decision referencing to Ramayana!" Ashok held Kaurvaki in his arms and calmed her down. "I can make no promise to win you but I shall participate and try my absolute best!"

The next day Kaurvaki went back to Kalinga and prayed towards the Krishna saving feather, candles lit everywhere and flowers surrounded the feather in a circle, Kaurvaki wished for Ashok and Ashok alone.
