"Putri, have some more food!" Queen Sudeshavati stated offering to place more chapattis into one of her golden bowls. "putri?" Kaurvaki's father called out concerned placing a hand on her shoulder. Kaurvaki was in thought of who was in the royal gardens under her balcony. She snapped out of her thoughts once hearing her name being called out repeatedly. "oh sorry I was just thinking of what occurred last night in the gardens!" Kaurvaki explained. "oh what happened putri?" King Dhishrtara asked.
"well I woke up in the middle of the night and I heard the shaking of the bushes below my balcony as I asked 'is someone there?' the person just ran off." The explanation shook the faces of Kaurvaki's parents, as they looked at one another Kaurvaki finally ate her food and decided to go get some fresh air. Her hair blew perfectly out in the wind. Kaurvaki's heart felt empty, the reason was unknown to her. Her mind was full of doubts and her heart was already caged. She felt as if she was trapped in one bird cage and with the whole thing of her Swayamvar coming up she feels as if her dignity is caged as well as her soul. She escaped to be recaptured.
Returning back into the palace she went into her Mahadev prayer room, where the Shiv Danush was laid down perfectly. Kaurvaki would always let her mind drift away to the thought's of what if this great Shiv Danush was the same Danush given by Shiv to Sita's family and the Danush would only brake once the reason for it's instatement is complete. "Ram!" Kaurvaki whispered breathlessly allowing her heart to drop saying his name. The name had echoed out to reach all the way to the battle field of Magadh where Ashok was engaged in battle.
Ashok was in the process of killing the chief commander of Emperor Nicolas army. He paused his fighting hearing the glorious name of Ram. He recognised it was Kaurvaki's voice but it was impossible to believe so. She was at least 5 miles away from the Magadh battle field. The great warrior prince did not allow his mind to stay focused on the thought for much longer as he was busy with war. Eventually the Magadh army won with the surrender of Emperor Nicolas's crown at the feet of Samrat Bindusar! Susheem hanged the great flag of the Maurya dynasty. Ashok imagined what he was hearing and had attempted to forget it but there was something more to the story then just the wind speaking out to you.
