Persona #5

( ⚠️!WARNING!⚠️ Venting and trauma )

Name : Villain Maia

Age : 17

Gender : female

Sexuality : bisexual and polyamorous

Species : human

Rank : ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Represents : rage

Benefits : As the personification of rage and resentment , she does fuel Author-Chan with anger , but its so much more then that. Author-Chan has a sense of morality and humanity because of Villain. They were both starved of acceptance from their peers so they turned it into the motivation to get things done. Villain may be rage , but shes also determination.

Most visible : Whenever Author-Chan is angry to an extreme level. Her anger continues to spread as the feeling of hopelessness crushes her. She can make empty threats , but can't back them up , so she resorts to writing or art. As stated in the benefits , rage isn't the only thing that causes Villain to appear. She can also appear during moments of determination. Extreme levels of motivation can cause Villain to take control of the brain.

Quotes : " When life hits us with everything its got , we're left with nothing but the choice to keep fighting. So don't you dare give up ! We're just getting started ! "

Appearance :

( I forgot to add a purple choker on her neck but I'm gonna redraw this soon. For now , this is what you have lol )

Main outfit :

( Pretend the choker and bracelets are purple )

Second outfit :

Personality : most of the time , she's stubborn and hates affection but also can be a tsundere and secretly like the affection. She usually pushes people away from her and says whatever insulting thing that comes to mind to someone she dislikes , including during a argument. Whenever things don't go her way , she'll try to make that person's life a living hell before cooling off and letting Eveline , Author-Chan's anxiety , have her good cry in the bathroom or in the room when she's alone.

Likes : even though shes the embodiment of anger , she can still find joy in things that can destress her. She loves playing video games as well as listening to Creepypasta audio stories. Recently , shes been using up her free time to help Author-Chan with marching band. She likes :

– Playing the electric guitar
– Learning how to ride a skateboard
– Same likes as Author-Chan

Dislikes :

– The same as Author-Chan

Powers : she can shoot purple fire and electricity from her hands , as well as breathe fire. Since she doesn't have a lot of magical abilities , she relies on her gun and fighting skills.

Weapon : has none

Crush : whoever Author-Chan likes , she'll like. Because of her trust issues , she has high standards as well as a hard time conveying affection , but its not impossible to date her.

Backstory :

PAST ARC — Besides Amy , Villain is the only persona that was created during Author-Chan's middle school years. This already puts Villain in isolation since she isn't in the know about Artemis , and has no one to confine to about the trauma she endured.

Even though Amy was made after Villain , she only saw the aftermath of the traumatic event , and was made specifically to combat Villain.

Another thing to note is that she and Amy are the only two personas with backstories that closely mirror Author-Chan's life. The others have backstories loosely connected to AC's childhood , but these two ? They are exaggerated retellings of childhood events.

Villain's origin dates all the way back to 2016. The personas didn't reveal themselves to Author yet , so she wasn't aware of what was happening inside her mind. Much detail won't the explained , but Author-Chan was going through a lot that year. She was severely bullied by her peers , and her home life felt lifeless. One such peer , who AC thought was her friend , went behind her back and convinced others to ignore her.

Following the story of Artemis , AC found connection and found family on Wattpad.

She was attached to the app , so much so that her dad took notice. He found out that she was talking to people online , and shouted at the poor girl. He took away her phone and forbade her from talking to them ever again. He didn't want his kid to be tricked by a potential online threat , but Author-Chan didn't see it that way. To her , he just took away her comfort...her safe place....her only way to release all her anger healthily...her entire damn world. Something within her...snapped.

.
.
.

She was gonna rain HELL down on those who hurt her !

Rage seared through Author's mind. Fire swallowed her in seconds , and from the flames emerged a new persona. Author-Chan had someone to cast blame upon. It was easier to do so then acknowledge the nuanced situation. She buried herself in a hole she could never escape from...there was no going back.

She braced her inner villainy.

Villain Maia was the first persona created out of trauma. The peace that once lingered in Author's mind had been shattered. Villain took control of the brain , and began her quest for revenge. What she didn't realize , was that she was hurting Author more then those she wanted to get back at. The rage Author felt metaphorically and literally ruined her healthy mentality.

The other personas feared Villain's power. No one was strong enough to stand up to her , and Villain refused to listen to reason. They were assumed to be the evil killing Author from the inside.

Things looked bad for everyone. Author was following a path of violent anger , and Villain was adding fuel to the fire. All hope seemed lost...until one persona emerged to save everyone. The light through this darkness.

That persona , was Child Maia.

In the real world , Author was forced into a mental facility as a result of her outbursts in school. Author-Chan was put into isolation , and it forced Villain to stop what she was doing.

This is where Child Maia came in.

She reached out to the now weakened Villain , and created a bond with her. Villain's rage slowly subsided when Child allowed her to be herself. Child explained that Villain didn't deserve this mistreatment , but had to give up control. They shared the common goal of protecting Author , and Villain respected that.

The true tragedy was that Child Maia only exists because of Villain. When Author-Chan was sent to the facility , she was no longer a child. The whole experience forced her to grow up , and try to navigate middle school with this weight holding her down. Child Maia was going to be created no matter what , as childhoods do eventually end , but she was created far too soon.

This devastated Villain. She couldn't let Child suffer , not when it was her fault she was here.
So after months of agony and rage , Villain finally gave up control of the brain. Author was able to see a therapist , and that brings us to the modern day.

Villain's story is that of tragedy and misunderstanding. Author was convinced that her childhood was over the moment she was sent away into a mental facility that didn't care for her. Everything went back to normal , but the brain required a LOT of mental damage control. Child and Villain are now good friends , and as Author-Chan was now navigating high school , Villain would do her best to protect Author.

PRESENT ARC — Now back to a somewhat healthy mentality , Author-Chan found a way back to wattpad with her new phone. Author is now aware of the personas and Villain's brain takeover...

Let's just say she didn't take the news well.

She despised Villain. Author went through so much in middle school , and all of it could've been resolved if Villain didn't interfere. Villain was imprisoned in a cage deep within Author's mind as punishment. Author swore that she'd NEVER let that side of herself be seen ever again.

Villain grew angry at what Author was putting her through , and debated on controlling the brain again. The one thing that stopped her from doing so was Child Maia since she didn't want to hurt her friend. She still found ways to escape , but as her imprisonment went on , Author-Chan resentment of Villain faded away with time , and would be more understanding to Villain.

Villain was assumed to be the one responsible for everything , but with years of self reflection and forgiveness , she had turned over a new leaf. Her cage was replaced with a house , and she was allowed to talk to the other personas. Eventually , she wasn't imprisoned in the subconscious anymore. Despite that , she made it her priority to protect and watch over the subconscious.

Despite this peace , it did not last. Something was lurking in the shadows.

An entity , with the intention to hurt Author.

Villain was the first to notice something shifty moving through the subconscious. Not wanting to worry the others , she investigated what was happening , only for the entity to have found her first.

It had been hunting her down for some time , and when Villain had found it out , they got into an intense fight. Villain was able to weaken it , only for the strange being to crack a calm smile.

" I knew you'd find me eventually. Even without your memories , I'm still seen a threat to you. Artemis didn't pull any punches it would seem. "

....Memories ??

Before she could get any answers , the entity was able to escape her grasp , and flee deeper into the subconscious. That aching seed of paranoia was planted into Villain , and she immediately ran to Saint Rebenna to tell her what had happened.

" ...what did it tell you ? " Rebenna asked.

" The fucker didn't tell me anything. " Villain grumbled.

" Villain , listen to me carefully. You saw nothing , and you will keep this between us. Just forget everything that happened. Do you understand me ? Stay FAR away from it. "

Villain was baffled. Did she even hear herself?! The others deserved to know ! What was Rebenna so scared for?! It didn't make any sense. The two got into a heated argument that ended with Villain storming out.

She didn't need her or the others , she would keep them safe , she would keep Author-Chan safe , and she would keep Child safe.

Trivia :

— Villain Maia's original purpose was to be my punching bag. I wanted to safely vent all my frustration without hurting someone , so I imagined someone doing it for me. I wanted to put the blame on her and give my bad actions an excuse. Nowadays , she is no longer that reason. She is still the result of my anger but I instead use her as a way of protecting myself and setting boundaries for others.

— Training with her guns is a challenge since Author-Chan isn't legally allowed to enter a shooting range or hold a gun. She begged Saint Rebenna to forge a ID but she refused so with the permission of Author , she opens a portal to Wattpad with her pen and goes to the shooting ranges there since the age there is 16+

— Villain Maia was inspired by TKO from OK KO ! Younger me was like " Aw hell yeah ! He's cool as fuck ! Imma make a character off of this edgy aesthetic and call her Villain Maia ! " so I did that and she eventually became her own entity separate from the fandom.

Looking back at her original concepts , I felt like I was a jerk to you guys by getting angry at people that didn't do anything to me. Thats when it struck me. I made a deep character without even realizing it. Thats how I felt all my life , specifically in 6th grade. I was bullied every day and most of my friends talked about me behind my back. I starting lashing out at people who didn't deserve it. It was just a endless cycle. With this in mind , I fleshed out Villain. When I looked back at the TKO scenes , she has evolved way more then her original concept.

Funny enough , that was the message of the OK KO's last season. It's not ok to suffocate your anger until it goes away. Don't treat it like a monster. Because in the end , it's apart of being human.

...BUT HEY ! THAT'S JUST A THEORY A

✨MENTAL THEORY✨
