ARIKSHA'S POV

I'm now sitting inside the Hogwarts express’s compartment…. Looking outside the beautiful scene which leads to the way to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry...I was always connected to magic in a way around... I always heard about how magical Hogwarts is!!!But I always wanted to see the magical surging through it… Sitting across from me is my best friend since birth….We have never been away from each other...And thankfully she will give me company in the new school and new journey…..

FLASHBACK

I was always surrounded by magic in every way…I was always close to my Nana because somehow I always feel I'm connected to him…I always love to spend my time with his magical creatures….I always use to think how the life will be in Hogwarts….Me and Jenny we always use to be best friends from childhood, but I used to hide about magic from her, as her mom doesn't want her to know about it, after the death of her father…..We use to go to normal school before we got our Hogwarts letters…On her birthday, when she got her letter, she was really confused, as she never heard of Hogwarts or magic….She decide to confront her mother…

“Mom, we got letters from a school whose name we never heard, its name is Hogwarts...Do you know about it????Did you apply for us????And the last day is on...” Jennifer passed them the letters...

Her mother froze along with my parents. Her mother haved a sign…

“So, it's time to tell the truth huuh... Darling, me, Sakshi and Emmett are witches and wizards…..We too had studied from the same school... Here we are taught magic, learning new and exciting subjects...Even your father has also studied it. There are 4 houses, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin... Students are put into these houses, through the Sorting Hat…. There are 3 types of students you will find.. First, It's PureBlood, these types of students are mostly found in Slytherin...They are always boastful about their heritage….But among them you will find students or people who don't like the PureBlood heritage….. Among them was your father, who was in Gryffindor,(while holding my mom's hand) he was really amazing and didn't differentiate among others blood status...And then it was uncle Emmett who  got into Ravenclaw…Aunt Sakshi was in Hufflepuff and I was in Ravenclaw with uncle Emmett, and somehow we became friends and then best friends, we also had many friends from these houses….Then, in second, its Half-blood, one of the parents are of Muggle born or Half blood from the start, which is you two….I also belong from half-blood family… Then in third, its Muggle born, who belongs from non magical family...But they have the ability to perform magic….. You both will have a great experience there, you will meet lots of people, you might meet good people as well as evil, and it will be on you how you tackle the situation without harming anyone….And it's fully your decision whether you want to go or not... Whatever the decision you take we will support you….”

“Why didn't you tell me about this earlier????” Jenny asked…

Then aunty got up from the couch and came near us….“ I'm sorry, we never told you what we were...We just want to protect you  from the dark time...It was that time, I lost your father, and I don't want to lose you too baby, that's why we left our past and decided to move here, away from the bad memories…” Her eyes were full of tears, uncle's topic was the soft spot for her….In these years, she always missed him without complaining ...I look at Jenny, and through eye contact we knew our decision…

She held her mom's hand,and I went and sat between my parents and held their hands….

“We want to go to Hogwarts, and experience the things you have told….And want to enjoy the amazing school life in a castle….” We told them and laughed at the last part…

“Ok, then let's send Professor McGonagall, the letters about you guys going to Hogwarts……” Dad said and got up to send letters to the professor....

“Ok girls, now it's time to sleep, tomorrow we have to go and purchase the things mentioned in the list, and for that we have to go to Diagon Alley, where we will get all of the things ….” Mom said …

After wishing them good night...We both went to Jenny's room….

We both laid down on the bed…

“Ahhh, I don't know I'm gonna manage in the new school….And need to take a pet, and there is no mention of a dog,how can I leave Chloe here….” I huffed…

“I think you can hide him and take inside...As he is really smaller in size, and it will not be a problem….” Jenny said….

“And you are going to buy a cat,as I know now your mom can't say no now….” I giggled…

“You are right….And I'm really excited you know...I want to be in Ravenclaw…..As mom was in that house….” She said…

“Me too, I want to be in Hufflepuff, same as mom and nana….I have heard many things from him, he always used to go out at midnight, to look after the magical creatures, I too want to experience that…Let's do one thing, after shopping the necessary things, we will go to my home, and we will ask everything from nana, as tomorrow, he will be coming back…” I exclaimed…

“Great idea, I always love to hear stories from him, and now I realised whatever stories he used to tell were kinda real, otherwise I was to think it's full of fantasy….” She laughed

“Okk let's sleep now, we have to wake up early in the morning…Good night, love you…” I switched off the table lamp ,while covering myself with the sheets…

“Good night babes, love you too….” She wished back…

And slowly I went to the dreamland of magic and waiting for the new day to arrive with lots of surprises….
