In which a girl; who thinks her quirk makes her a danger to her friends, meets a quirk-less boy who makes her realize that she's more in control than she thinks.

Quirks.

When they first appeared it was considered strange and unnatural that so many people had begun to question it. But as time passed, these superpowers were quite a common thing in everyone's life and almost everyone had one; except the twenty percent of the population that were normal.

Normal.

A word that Naomi Furushima wishes that she was every day since she had received her quirk. Everyone loved the quirks they were given; everyone except her, and whenever she had voiced that she hated her power, she was called all sorts of names so she decided to never let anyone know how she thought of herself.

But as her quirk began to manifest more, there were slight complications that came with such a power and when she had been brought to be examined by a doctor when she was thirteen, she despised her quirk even more for the pain it was beginning to cause her.

Having a shackle be forcefully placed upon her because of a power she didn't want was the reason of such hatred and she cursed the very wonderful thing that was "blessed" on her young self.

Only to realize that her power was so much greater than she had believed when she meets a seemingly "quirkless" boy named Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and he changes her view on her quirk entirely.

Anyway!

I hope you guys liked the introduction to this story! When it was requested by a few people I was thinking to myself, "hmm.. what am I going to do for the character introduction and make her as interesting as I can without making her too much like my other oc's to the point everyone gets bored of the same ideas"

So I had an idea!

I made Naomi hate her quirk unlike all of the other characters in MHA; or any other oc I have, that absolutely love having this gift that was placed upon them and she'll eventually learn to love it and herself, even though she believes that her power is restraining her from achieving anything in life.

I'm honestly really excited to see where this goes because I don't ever think I've written a character that goes through such self-doubt and struggles with self-loathing because of a power they have!
