Halloween is a night of fun and candy, a night where anyone can be anything. Mobians of all species and ages are dressed up as their favorite monster or mythical creature. Some go all out, others go with a small simple costume, and some dress to impress. And others are given a costume, whether they like it or not.

On this fateful night we find ourselves at a workshop, home to two heroes and many inventions.

"Ow! Rouge that hurt!"

"Hon, beauty hurts."

"Can you stop? This is way too much. Why can't I just go with something simple?"

"I thought you wanted to go big Blue?"

"Not this kind of big! I mean, you even poured glitter in my qui- Rouge!!!"

A young fox sighs as voices drift down from upstairs, where a certain bat had dragged his big brother over two hours ago claiming that Sonic had owed her a favor. Since then the two had been fighting, or, in more appropriate terms, Sonic complaining and protesting while Rouge kept on doing whatever it was she was doing to the poor hedgehog.

"Oh sush, Shadow went through the same thing earlier."

"I highly doubt you went into as much detail as you are now."

"Only cause Mr. Sunshine wouldn't let me."

"I am making sure to never owe you a favor after this."

"Not gonna happen sweetheart, cause even if it's not a favor, I have plenty of promising pictures of y-"

"Ok ok! I get it! Yeesh..."

Tails got up from the sofa, if they were to be able to meet the others soon they had to leave now. "Are you guys almost done? We have to go!"

"Almost hon!"

"Oh, thank god! I swear you put any more makeup on me and I'm going to go insane!"

Tails chuckled slightly at his brother's relieved tone, now standing at the bottom of the stairs. Not even a minute later the sound of the bathroom door opening was heard, Rouge showing herself in all of her witchy glory a second later. "Now introducing, the one, the only..." She stepped to the side, holding her arms in a dramatic gesture of introduction, "Sonic T. Hedgehog!"

Sonic stepped out, looking as if he was stuck between amused, irritated, and uncomfortable. He looked at his brother instantly, noticing the pure shocked face that stood on the fox's face. Before suddenly Tails burst out laughing.

"Oh-no... What did she dress me as?" Sonic dashed to the mirror, for a moment not believing his eyes. His quills lay limb on his back, styled so they stood all over the place. He had sparkly seaweed green eyeliner on, he wore a necklace with a green gem in the middle. But most telling of all, was the carefully painted sparkling dark blue scales covering his legs and parts of his body. All tied together by heaps of glitter.

Sonic couldn't process what he was seeing, no way she...she wouldn't have..but yet she did. "You...you...you dressed me as...a MERHOG????" He wearled around, coming face to face with the smiling bat. "ROUGE?? WHAT THE HECK???"

"Why in the world would you dress, the hydrophobic hedgehog, as a MERHOG? Why would you dress me like this at all??!?!?!?" He questioned, emerald green eyes searching teal ones.

"Simple dear! Your fur color is perfect for the outfit! It looks absolutely stunning on you! And haven't you ever heard of irony Blue?"

Whatever reply was about to be said was forgotten once the door downstairs was opened.

"Sonikku! Knuckles, Shadow and I are here! Are you ready to leave and meet the others?"

Sonic was in his room faster than anyone could blink.
