𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫: 

this work is my own. of course it follows the original story of 'Avatar: The Way of Water' which i do not own, but this story is my own creation and any similarities to fanart, books and other is purely coincidental. at the moment, everything is coming from my imagination, but  if i do have any book scenes inspired by art, i'll add it at the end of the chapter (unless the artist doesn't like reposts in which case i will simply credit their name). 

𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲

Eywa - The Na'vi's deity, to whom all energy is returned.

Tsahik - Shaman. Shares a spiritual connection to Eywa. Also the healers. 

Olo'eyktan - The chief of a tribe. In other words, a clan leader.

Omaticaya - The forest people.

Metkayina - The reef people.

Ikran - Mountain banshees.

Ilu - The aquatic equivalent of the direhorse.

Tulkuns - I like to call them the whales of Pandora. Tulkun are slightly transcendent, being sentient and highly cultured, with their own rich family histories, mathematics, poetry, and sophisticated music. They have their own language, individual names and can communicate with the Na'vi.

Meswaxk - Toothbrush, literally Na'vi-fied miswak (which is a natively Middle Eastern teeth-cleaning twig). I feel it would be fitting for the Na'vi to have something like this that they use to clean their teeth.

Sa'nok - mother 

Ma'ite - my daughter

When I say canon changes, I mean changes to the original canon stuff...if that makes sense. 

Most of the younger kids are aged up

- Lo'ak, Kiri and Tsireya are sixteen, not just turned but approaching seventeen

- Neteyam is nineteen

- Itaxri is eighteen, not just turned but approaching nineteen

- Ao'nung is eighteen, just turned

- Roxto is eighteen, just turned

- Tuk is eight which I think is her age in the film but I could be wrong. Young Tuk is iconic. 

- Reyu is eight. 

- Neytiri and Jake are both their same ages 

- Tonowari and Ronal are both their same ages
