JULIE : This was the name she went by instead of Jewel when she was growing up. It was a play on her actual English name and she was the one who thought of it. She forced basically everyone in her life to call her this. However, as she grew up and found confidence in herself, Julie became just another nickname she'd use. Nowadays, only her old friends and family members call her this. When the fans learned of the story behind Jewel and Julie, they also began using Julie in a kind way so as to 'heal the wounds from her past'. Her near endless charm paired with her sassiness and boldness has all the netizens spamming her name, either to bash her or praise her. Either way, her name is never lost on the trending page.

PR NIGHTMARE : The fans call her this to tease Jieun. She has virtually no filter and is always back talking to everyone which has led to some frequent attitude scandals for the group. It's honestly a wonder how she hasn't been kicked out yet with how often her words get taken out of context. THE ACTUAL DANCING QUEEN : Jieun started this on her own and the fans picked up on it. It was during a solo live where Jieun was playing random songs in the background and suddenly, Dancing Queen by ABBA played and after screaming the lyrics, Jieun declared herself as the actual dancing queen due to her dancing prowess. Considering she's the main dancer of the group, fans took to calling her by this nickname alongside trending a video clip of her dancing.

THE WINE AUNT : This originated because of Jieun's behavior towards the rest of the girls. Despite being the second oldest of the group, Jieun does not act like it at all. In fact, whenever Yura leaves them alone, Jieun, instead of being a responsible adult, often kicks back and relaxes while the rest of the kids (yes she calls the other girls as kids) wreak havoc around the place. She's not at all helpful (not actually true; Jieun does set boundaries and limits to the kid's chaos and is known to be strict at times but she mainly just watches and lets them do their own thing).

SASAENG'S WORST FEAR : Despite seemingly being narcissistic and irresponsible, Jieun is quite protective of the girls and the fandom as well. She gets quite intimidating whenever the girls' safety is in question or when someone harms her fans. CHARMING : A far cry from her childhood, Jieun is a charming girl. After going to Korea, she worked on her social skills. If you didn't know her then, you would've never imagined that she was the quiet kid growing up. Talking with Jieun is definitely an experience. She's always smiling and definitely knows how to make a crowd laugh. Even though she says the most unhinged things, it feels natural coming from her. Knowing full well how it feels to be awkward in interactions, Jieun takes great measures to make sure that the people she's talking to are at ease. She's a great socialite which is partially why she became the face of the group— she has friends basically everywhere.

PROTECTIVE : This was also a result of her past. After being bullied for so long, Jieun became very protective of her loved ones. She doesn't want them to go through the same thing she did. It's why she's always making sure that she never mentions anything revealing about her family despite her iconic loose mouth or loudly supporting all her idol friends no matter the consequences. It's also why she always stands at the back during group schedules or when the group's walking. She likes keeping an eye on the rest of the girls and goes through great lengths to make sure that they're safe and happy.

Physical :

Jieun is physically fit. Although not a fitness enthusiast, being a dancer has done wonders on her physical health. She has a strong immune system and great stamina. She keeps up her exercises through simple daily joggings and a trip to the gym every month or so. Overall, she's fit and has no problems.

Mental :

After being bullied for so long, Jieun's mental health definitely took a lot of damage. Moving to Korea and having a new environment certainly helped and her mental health has gotten better. However, when the hate comments become too much, Jieun sometimes reverts back to her old meek personality and locks herself in her room, not allowing anyone to help her. She's working on it though.
