Tristan and Dahlia Beaumont love their children more than anything in the world. It's as if the two were made for each other and the stars circumstances brought them together. Both runaways from rich homes, leaving behind a life of fortune and prospects. Even with the mayhem of seven children, they still manage to break the chain of a cold and cruel family.

There is not a single corner in the Beaumont cottage that houses shadow. If not for the vast sunshine that never seems to leave the hill on which they are planted, the shadow of life is no match for the sheer vibrancy of the 'Beaumont attitude' (coined by Tristan).

The Beaumont children are all named after flowers, similarly they all have flower middle names. Tristan could not pass up the opportunity when his wife consequently was named 'Dahlia Beaumont' possibly being the most convenient act of fate. And from then on the bouquet of the Beaumont flowers grew.

The Beaumont house is placed only a 10 minute walk away from the Weasley household, the family's are very close considering their similarities and abundance of children. Along with Athur's lively conversations with Dahlia about muggle things. They all shared a deep closeness. They swiftly had children only a year after being married and decided to have six more after that, all they wanted after both being only children was to fill the house with love and lots and lots of kids.

The house is surrounded by an abundance of green and ponds where the children feel the geese of the pond daily and help Dahlia in the greenhouse. The house is a large cottage that only just fits everyone in their own rooms.

Zinnia Beaumont was the middle child, she was also an accident being only 9 months younger than her older sister primrose. Zinnia would carry a melancholy and satirical aura around with her, not that she wasn't happy, the teen angst just got to her sometimes and wasn't a good combination with her stubborn and incorrigible nature. Zinnia hides behind the tales of her mothers muggle books. She likes the muggle books because it leaves more up to the imagination, she liked to see what the muggles would write about and what defined their way of living. Her favourites being 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and 'Little Women'.

She had a certain affinity for growing plants as  by the end of the school year her bed was surrounded by vines she had been growing, of which she gave to the greenhouses at the end of the year. She demanded herself to live vibrantly and in deep memory, she could not fathom being forgotten as she documents her life, friends, and loved ones in film. She refuses to keep all of the film and gives at least five photographs to all her friends at the end of the year so they don't forget her.

This Summer she had gone to the Quidditch world cup with the whole family, in which she had the opportunity to sit in the minister's box thanks to her fathers job in the Ministry's sports department. Unfortunately it did not go as planned with a surprise attack from those who she feared most. They descended like vultures to feed off of the person she was closest to at Hogwarts.
