(OC) and (Crush) has become extremely close at camp and even once it was over the two soon realised that they were going to the same middle school and that they lived quite close to one another. It seemed like they were having a good life. It seemed... (OC) and (Crush) never had the best families in the world and it would often make the two have deep and dark conversations. The family issues only for worse with both (OC)'s and (Crush)'s parents which left (OC) and (Crush) miserable. One night as (OC) was going to fall asleep, she got a text from (Crush):

"Look outside your window. It's urgent."

Of course (OC) checked outside their window and saw (Crush) smirking up at them. (OC) then opened the window.

"What are you doing? If your parents catch you then you're dead." (OC) said, which only caused (Crush)'s smirk to grow.

"Meet me outside your front door and bring a backpack and make sure you back some food, water, resources and money in it." (Crush) exclaimed as he/she ran to the front door.

(OC) nodded and closed the window, got changed into more comfortable clothes, packed a backpack and walked downstairs, opening the door.

"What do you want? If my parents catches us talking right now they won't be afraid to beat us both." (OC) warned (Crush)

(Crush) just rolled their eyes and replied. "Doesn't matter. We're running away."

This caused (OC)'s eyes to widen and her heart begin to beat more faster and nervously.
