The next day Felix woke up with the sun from his window shining on his face, making his eyes try to adjust to the brightness.
He look over at Chan who was softly sleeping.
Felix could sit there all day if he wanted to. Luckily it was Saturday and Felix wouldn't have to go to school.
With out realizing, Felix started nicely playing with Chan's soft, black hair he missed to feel so much.
Felix laid there in silence, just staring and playing with Chan's dark hair not really thinking about anything while he was asleep.
"Jeez Felix, you didn't tell me you loved my hair."
Or at least he thought he was asleep.
Felix jumped slightly tugging at Chan's hair.
Chan turned over looking at the younger who was startled.
"Ow.." Chan said with a blank face.
"Sorry.. I thought you were asleep." Felix said trying to avoid contact with Chan.
"I know, I can tell." Chan chuckled.
Felix laid there in silence until he finally had an idea to stop the awkwardness that was rising.
"How about, I go shower and get ready real quick, and then you can go and I'll make breakfast while you do that." Felix said sitting up.
"Sure, sounds like a plan." Chan said.
"Alright be right back." Felix grabbed the clothes he laid out the night before and scurried to the bathroom.
Felix sighed as he let the warm water relax his tense muscles.
He washed up quickly and did his hair. He came out of the bathroom and told Chan he could go in.
After, he made a simple breakfast of eggs and bacon.
Chan later came down stairs and sat at the dining table.
"Where's your parents?" Chan asked.
"At work. They work early and come home around the after noon. They don't usually come out often. There jobs burn them out a lot so they take the rest of the time in there weekend to rest." Felix said.
"Ahh." Chan replied nodding.
Felix set a plate for Chan and one for himself on the table and they began eating in peaceful silence.
"So um, about last night.." Chan started.
Felix set down his fork softly. "Chan it's really fin-."
"No.. Felix.. I shouldn't have lashed out on you like that. Yea, I was frustrated but I shouldn't have snapped at you like that." Chan said sincerely.
"Chan it's really okay. I understand." Felix said chuckling slightly. He found it cute how sorry Chan was over something so small.
He always did that when he made a tiny mistake..
"Hurry and finish up, I have a little surprise for you." Felix said taking his plate to wash it.
"Oh?" Chan said.
Felix nodded and Chan finished the rest of his food.
Felix was excited for the special thing he had in store for Chan.
