Felix woke up to a complete bright white ceiling. He blinked numerous times to adjust to the brightness.
He looked around, well as best as he could, and found himself in a white bed.
"Oh my god, Felix....."
Felix's head turned over towards the voice he knew all to well.
"Channie...?"
Chan got up from his chair and scrambled over to Felix who was lying in the plain white sheets.
"Chan what's going on... why am I here..."
"Felix, you were out for weeks.." Chan said, tears welling up.
"Chan what are you talking about. We were just at the park earlier.. we kissed remember?"
"Lix, the car crash hurt you bad. The doctors didn't even think you'd make it for the first few days. Thank god you pulled through.." Chan was crying now. But it was obvious it was tears of joy and relief. He was kneeling next to the bed and holding Felix's hand tight.
"I came everyday just waiting for you to wake up and now it finally happened." Chan continued.
"Im so proud of you.."
Felix was just confused now. Just a minute ago he was at the park with Chan. He thought Chan was the one who got badly affected by the crash, not him.
"Felix, are you okay?" Chan noticed Felix had stared off into space.
Felix shook his head and geared his attention back to the older, "I'm fine, I'm just adjusting. I hardly remember what happened after we got hit." Lix chuckled a bit. It was half true, though. He didn't remember anything at all it seemed like.
This whole "Chan losing his memory" thing must've been some kind of dream while he was out. Perhaps what would've happen if Chan did get hurt badly. It just felt so real..
The whole thing kind of creeped Felix out so ur shook off the thought.
"Are you okay though..? What happened to you." Felix questioned.
"I'm completely fine. I got a few scratches and bruises but those healed up in a few days." Chan had stopped crying and seemed to calm down.
"The driver was arrested for drunk driving. And he was pretty bad. I don't really remember much but that's what the police said. There was a bunch of witnesses to since we were in a busy street. We're completely safe, Lix." Chan smiled.
He softly stroked Felix's hand with his thumb.
Although it was a lot to hear at one time, Felix felt a sense of safety and reassurance that everything was going to be fine. He cracked a small smile to.
"Hopefully, they'll let you out soon. The doctors said your wounds are healing fine but you might have to stay maybe a few days just so they can watch you." Chan said.
"Now that your awake, the boys will come crowding in later." Chan laughed.
Felix giggled along to. That's what he loved about Chan. He always new when to say the right things to make Felix feel better. Even when he didn't need it.
"I love you, Lix.." Chan said softly.
"I love you to, Channie.." Felix replied.

"And the prince has arrived!"
"Seriously, Hyunjin? Jeez..."
"You already told them?!" Felix said.
"I got excited." Chan said shyly.
