•*•*• AS promised, chō had gotten one outfit. she wore a white t-shirt and short pink jean overalls. she had on white tennis shoes and pink star socks to match.

"well don't you look cute!", toga cooed while chō twirled around for her.

"thanks himi", chō said smiling.

there happened to be a pretty large pocket on the overall itself, so chō decided to take emi and put her in there.

emi's head stuck out of chō's overall, it was truly a cute scene. chō patted emi's head, to which she meowed.

"ready to go twice??", chō asked.

"yeah! hell no!!", he said, making chō laugh.

"where are y'all going??", toga asked. "can I come?"

"boss said to go recruit some people. yes you can come. no you can't!!", twice said.

kurogiri opened up a warp gate, allowed twice, chō, and toga to step through. despite what twice said, toga came along anyways.

"so how do we recruit?", chō asked.

"you ask them", toga cheerfully said.

chō was looking around. most people just went about their lives. if they wanted to find someone, they ought to look in the shady areas.

"how about the alleyways??", chō suggested.

twice nodded and toga pulled her and twice along. they all skipped into an alleyway, searching for potential future members.

a van was burning up and there were a few people standing there, just watching it happen.

"HEY!!", chō yelled as she skipped to them.

"w-wait!! no, just go and die!", twice said as he followed behind with toga.

toga had her knife ready, just in case something happened to chō.

chō happily arrived in front of 11 men who all wore a beak-like mask.

"nice to meet you, I'm hoshi chō!!", she said, extending her hand out for one of the bird men to shake.

no one moved. chō awkwardly retracted her hand, awkwardly laughing.

"haha...soooo, whatchu all doing here?", she asked, smiling.

chisaki kai wondered if this girl was mental. him and his crew had just killed a van full of people and the fire behind them was soaring. was she not scared at all?

"okay, great!! so, you all wanna grab coffee some time? I know this great place—"

"who are you?", chisaki asked.

"umm...I just said my name. it's hoshi chō. what about you??", she asked.

chisaki hesitated. "overhaul", he shortly replied. "now tell me, what's your purpose for being here?"

chisaki noticed twice and toga standing a bit behind the girl. he also noticed the disgusting animal in the girl's pocket.

"oh!! I was just passing by and wondered if y'all wanted some coffee you know? you guys all look so tired and stuff", chō replied.

"nemoto", chisaki called. nemoto immediately looked at the girl.

"she's telling the truth", he said.

"wow!!! is your quirk like a lie detector or something?? that's so cool!! but don't worry, I won't lie because mother said it's bad before she passed away", chō said smiling.

all of the members stood still. they were all anticipating chisaki's orders. in fact, they were wondering when he'd kill her for her stupidity.

"so coffee??", chō offered.

chisaki thought about it. they certainly have way more people. but what if somehow the girl has a really powerful quirk? chisaki thought more about it.

"I have a healing quirk. I can't even heal myself if that makes you feel any better", chō suddenly said, seeming to have read chisaki's uneasiness.

chisaki looked at nemoto, who gave him a nod, indicating that she wasn't lying.

"fine", chisaki said. the rest of the shie hassaikai thought they were going to have a heart attack. did their ruthless leader just spare a weird girl with a cat in her pocket??

"cool!! let me call kurogiri so he can warp us there. plus I don't have money so I usually steal from him", chō said, about to dial the phone.

chisaki quickly slapped the phone out of her hand. her pink phone dropped to the ground.

"aw man! I really like the case too", chō pouted.

"I don't know who kurogiri is, for all I know, you could be calling a pro hero. so we'll just walk there. and I'll pay", chisaki said.

chō's eyes widened. "r-really?! holy mother of goats!! thank you so much!!", chō said, quickly giving chisaki a hand shake before skipping back to toga and twice.

toga pulled chō towards her so that chisaki and the rest couldn't hear.

"you're really crazy you know? for all you know, he could've killed you any moment", toga said, and that was coming from her.

"we were so worried!! just die", twice said.

"it's okay guys!! they seem really nice. plus, they said that they'll pay for coffee, so let's go!!", chō yelled as she skipped back to chisaki.

chō grabbed chisaki's gloved hand and started pulling him along, not giving him or the others a moment to catch up.

toga quickly took a photo. twice looked at her confused.

"what are you doing?", he asked.

"taking a picture and sending it to tomura", toga grinned.

"why?"

"a little jealousy never hurt anyone", toga replied giggling.

"I thought you said we were getting coffee...", kurono said as all 14 of them sat on two split tables.

"I...was hungry", chō said as she stuffed her mouth with rice, looking like a chipmunk.

chisaki looked at the girl in disgust. he looked at the place they were in, in disgust.

emi meowed.

"aw sorry emi!! here, have some chicken", chō said as she fed the cat some chicken that she tore up.

"oh my stars!! why aren't you eating?? you must eat more", chō said as she started taking everyone's plates and filling it to the brim with food.

chisaki stared at the girl. he would've overhauled her if it weren't for the fact that she might actually benefit his plan.

"so are y'all gonna take of yalls masks?? or are you guys just gonna eat through the beak?", chō asked, eating more rice.

chisaki sighed. perhaps eating a bit won't hurt. plus he's paying anyways, and it'd be a waste not to.

he took his beak and black surgical mask off. chō dropped her chopsticks.

"what?", chisaki asked, glaring at said girl.

"if I knew you were this attractive, I would've tried recruiting you earlier ", chō nonchalantly said.

kurono almost spit out his water. rappa started laughing while the others just stared, eyes wide.

she was definitely going to die.
