Good evening Brook, 

This is Oliver writing this letter. How are you? How is Mr. Porter? I haven't heard much from him in a while. Jane and I are both well here in England so far. 

You must be confused about why I had to be the one to write this letter. You must have read the last letter but this one is very urgent for you to know. I couldn't tell Jane as my partner has now been going through letters and I had to write this one myself. 

As you know of Vincent, he has been going missing at the meetings which didn't affect the others but it has affected Jane greatly. She is still investigating everything and told me to write everything in this letter. 

A few nights after we sent the previous letter. The woman has been found dead in the middle of the street. It has been stated that it was in fact an accident but Jane and I didn't believe so as the articles have made different statements of what happened. 

Jane is dejected by the woman's loss as she has been trying to get to know her more. She is sure that Vincent had something to do with it. She was at a loss for what to do as no one would say what happened that night. 

But I found it.

Before the men could carry the woman's corpse away, something dropped from her hands. It was covered in blood. It was a letter. It was confusing at first from their handwriting but I was sure the woman knew what was going to happen to her and wrote her final words. 

It was a detailed writing of a place. A dark and moist place. Drips can be echoed and so loud but the rummaging is always heard followed by a groan. 

The first thought that came to my head was the catacombs. And I knew exactly where it was. It was by Vincent's factory. I am going in a few days to not draw attention. Do not worry, I will not bring Jane with me as I know it will be dangerous if I were to get caught in this plan. 

If I do not respond in the next month, I will make sure to send a personal message from Jane herself. I hope everything goes well to find the answers we are all looking for. Send my regards to everyone in Africa. 

I have also heard of your husband. Interesting fellow to hear off. By the time we discover everything, we can't wait to meet both of you as equals now. Hope you are well and have a good evening.
