Hey Upper East Siders. There's nothing Gossip Girl likes more than a surprise and we hear Blair Waldorf's got a 2 for 1 special. Her mom Eleanor, who just returned from Paris and Serena and Ambrosia Van der Woodsen, brunch buddies.
Serena and I are currently at Blair's, waiting for her to wake up so we can hang out. Serena and I thought we should take Blair out shopping. Ms. Waldorf stopped us before we could go up and began talking about her new brand.
We hear footsteps, and I look up to see a horrified Blair rushing down.
Serena doesn't notice however and smiles, "Hey! You're up.
Blair walks over to us, "Did we have plans?"
Ms. Waldorf scowls at her in disapproval, "Darling, it is impolite to interrupt," she gives Blair a small kiss on the cheek, "I was just telling Serena that Bendel's is interested in carrying my line."
Blair seems to have shaken off whatever was bothering her and has plopped down on the couch next Serena with a gleeful expression, "Really?"
Ms. Waldorf excitedly nods. Blair smiles, she has always been Ms. Waldorf's biggest supporter with her fashion business, "That's fantastic! Why didn't you say something?"
Ms. Waldorf continues proudly, "I came back from Paris early to put together my look book. And if they like what they see, it could be the beginning of an entire lifestyle collection."
Blair rips off a piece of a croissant before praising, "Because more people should be like you, mother."
Ms. Waldorf gives Blair a one over, "Before you tuck into that, you might find a low-fat yogurt more appealing."
Blair freezes, moving the croissant away from her mouth. She eyes my own torn off scone which I popped into my mouth, with a sorry expression. I knew that Ms. Waldorf has always been conscious of Blairs weight but this is crazy, Blair is as skinny as a stick.
Blair smiles at her mom, putting the croissant one down, "I lost 2 pounds when you were away."
Ms. Waldorf's eyes brighten, "And you look marvelous."
Serena gets up and begins skimming through the clothing on the racks. I notice a few styles that catch my eye.
"Wow these are beautiful, Ms. Waldorf," Serena murmurs
Ms. Waldorf sighs, "Well, they will be if they're not all squished from traveling."
Ms. Waldorf gets up and walks towards Blair who is grabbing a raspberry from a fruit bowl. Ms. Waldorf looks like she is getting fed up, "Darling, please."
Blair is annoyed by her mother's attempts at starving her, but her mom doesn't notice, "Serena, you have to come back later when everything is unpacked."
Serena grabs my arm to get my attention before putting two dresses up against her frame. I point to the floral one which had a beachy vibe.
Ms. Waldorf smiles at my sister and me, "I would love to hear your thoughts. You do have such great personal style."
I blush before looking at Blair who looks excluded, "Oh, thank you, but I don't think we'll be able to. Blair and I have plans today."
Blair stops eating her fruit before speaking with food in her mouth, "We do?"
Serena and Blair might have plans for the day, but Nate and Chuck are fully booked for the weekend if they survive it.
Seems like someone's itinerary didn't leave room for interlopers. Doesn't Chuck know a party isn't a party until someone crashes?
Blair, Serena and I have been shopping on Fifth Ave. for about two hours now and have made quite a dent in our checking account. We are giggling about this hideous dress Blair tried on at Saks when two pervs make suggestive motions towards us.
Blair rolls her eyes groaning, "Oh, God. I forgot what it was like to be with you."
Serena shakes her heads, "No, they were looking at both of us."
I laugh at their argument about who was eye raping them, "Well, I hope they were looking at none of us."
We all laugh before Blair continues, "Don't insult me, it's been like this all morning. Starting with your lovely visit with my mother. She didn't even call me to tell me she was coming home."
I frown trying to think of something to make her feel better, "Well, she was busy. She was rushing to get home and everything because she wanted to see you."
Blair scoffs. "She didn't even wake me up."
"Well, you know how Eleanor feels about beauty rest," Serena jokes.
"She likes you two more than me," Blair says hiding her dismay with a grin.
"She does not you are her daughter, she doesn't like anyone more than you," Serena objects, "She just, I don't know doesn't know how to show it sometimes."
"Okay, I'm going inside," Blair says unfazed before stopping at No Lita, "Wait for me, I'll be right back."
Blair walks off, and I look down to check my phone noticing a Gossip Girl Post about the Lost Weekend. It is this horrible weekend that Carter Baizen started when he was a junior. The junior boys after Ivy Week spend the entire weekend disconnected with strippers, alcohol, and drugs. It is revolting, and my two of my closest friends are part of it.
I look at Serena who is walking over to talk to some guy. I take it as an opportunity to sneak off for a bit and call Nate. I know they aren't supposed to talk to any girls, but I am too curious to learn what Gossip Girl is posting about.
The phone rings for a few seconds, and I begin to think that Nate isn't going to answer, but at the last minute, he answers.
Hello?
"Hey, I am sorry for calling, but I couldn't help but hear that someone crashed your precious brothel," I shyly joke.
I hear Nate's laugh in the phone; it is unrestrained like he doesn't have a care in the world.
I am uh actually glad to hear your voice. Chuck has really gone all out for the Lost Weekend, and it is assuring to be reminded that there is life outside of these walls still.
I laugh, "Well I am glad I could help."
I hear shouting over the phone before Chuck's voice enters the speakerphone.
Sorry love but Nate here has been naughty. You'll see him on Monday.
The phone disconnected. I look down and see that Chuck hung up on me. I shake my head in disbelief before returning to Serena.
I return to her side and notice that Blair has returned and Dan has also somehow joined the gang. I wave at Dan, "Hey. What did I miss?"
Blair looks at Dan disgusted before grabbing my hand and pulling me away, "Nothing. Serena, when you're done with your charity work, why don't you come to find us? We'll be at Tory Burch looking at ponchos."
I wave goodbye to Dan before allowing Blair to tug me away to Tory Burch.

Serena, Blair and I are all playing around with the Waldorf designs. Blair's mom told us that we would have to come to her office while she looked for a model for her line. It was probably for the best since if we shopped any more we would have completely cleaned out Fifth Ave.
We were all gushing about Ms. Waldorf's amazing designs when we began to eavesdrop on her conversation with her assistant. apparently none of the models were a good enough fit for their new look.
The assistant suggested Blair as a model since they were realted and serena immediately jumped to Blair's aid, "She'd love to!"
Blair looks at Serena confused, "I would?"
The assistant looks at Ms. Waldorf expectantly, "Eleanor?"
Ms. Waldorf nods her head. Serena and I squel in excitement while Blair does the same although she is trying to hide her excitement.
The assistant smirks before turning to Blair, "Eleanor Waldorf, meet the new face of Waldorf for Bendel's."
I clap my hands before twirling Blair around, "Yay!"
Is that a smile we see on B's lips? The spotlights on her for once and S actually helped her get it. I guess miracles can happen.
Serena, Blair, and I invited Kati and Issabel over at the Waldorf'ss. We are looking through fashion magazines that have her mom's pieces. Serena and I are laid on the bed with Blair while the other twi girls are trying to pose in the mirror.
Serena flips through vogue, "It's gonna be so hot. The clothes are gorgeous."
Blair smirks proud to be the center of attention, "They're all right."
I smack her playfully with the magazine, "Shut up, they're amazing."
"I'm just doing my mom a favour", she moves off the bed to look at herself in the mirror, "The hair and makeup test is tonight."
Isabel awes at her friend, while Kati strikes at pose, "I think this is my best pose."
"That's because you can't see what you look like. You're just a hand model and that's it. The right way is this", I laugh at their forrible attempts to pose.
Blair then gets up and tries to help them with a slightly better pose inspired from Legally Blonde, " Girls, no. This is how you do it. No, no, no. Gotta curve your spine forward, elongate."
Serena then jjmps up to join getting oin front of Blair, "Oh, no. You guys are doing it all wrong. Look you're missing the key."
"Show us."
Serena puts on a sassy face, "Look, look, look. You gotta put the hand on the hip and pop. That's how you gotta do it."
Kati and Isabel try to copt, "Pop."
Blair frowns before fixing their posture, "Pop, no like this."
Serena's phone rings next to me and I pick it up and hand it to her.
"Hello? Uh-huh, who's this?", Serena asks into the phone.
Blair snatches the phone out of Serena's hands, "YWho'd dare interrupt the Van der Woodsen as she teaches? I said who?"
We all giggle while Serena fights to get the phone, "Who is it?"
Blair wears at face of disgust that makes me think the caller is Dan, "I'm sorry, the number you've dialed is no longer in service."
Serena is still trying to get her phone but is struggling over her giggles, "Stop it! who is it?"
Blair hold the phone away before whispering, "I'm doing you a favor."
Serena grabs the phone out of Blairs hands and moves to the corner of the room do they can speak in semi-privacy. Blair grabs me so we can all pose in the mirror together, "A, you have got to help me."
I nod before getting up and showing her a few poses. I used to model for Yves Saint Laurent but after a while I decided I didn't want to do it for life. It was fun and I always said I would do some more from time to time but, it wasn't my thing.

Serena, Blair, and I left once Kati and Isabel had to leave for their polo lessons. Serena and I have been with Blair the entire night for her hair and makeup check. We have been helping Ms. Waldorf pick which dresses to put on Blair.
The photographer is about to lose it, "Let's think big, big, big. One, two, three. Okay, take a break thank you very much."
I overhear them talking about Blair. The photographer wants to get rid of her. They believe she is too stiff. I frown, Blair is going to be heartbroken. I know that it is hard for models to loosen up. I remember that when I used to model, we would all do something together before the shoot so we felt energized and carefree.
I guess I will have to help her a bit. I smile grabbing a scarf. I walk over to Blair and wrap the scarf around her before pulling it away so she would spin, "Hey! First of all, you look amazing!"
Blair smiles, jumping up and down, "I know!"
Serena joins us, probably hearing what they said as well, "But look, can we give you a little tip?"
She frowns looking at the two of us, "How did I know this was coming?"
Serena shakes her head, "No, no, look all you need to do is maybe you could uh, loosen up a little you know?"
I nod before grabbing her shoulders and shaking them so she will feel loose, "Shake it out."
Blair giggles but still doesn't seem to loosen. Serena grabs her hands and begins dancing, "Um, maybe you could be goofy?"
I move my hips in a circle like a belly dancer trying to show Blair what to do, "Like when we were 10 and we would dance around to Genie in a Bottle in your mom's clothes."
I giggle as we all begin to jump around like kids dancing around the studio. Blair grabs my hands and pulls me closer to her, noticing their looks, "Help me. Help me."
I nod, "Um, okay uh", I notice the photographer coming and I smile at Blair, "Act like a tiger, okay? Come on."
Blair looks at me like I am crazy but once Serena and I begin roaring and wildly posing she joins in. Her movements are still a bit stiff but having known Blair for years I know that this is as loose as she is going to get.
Serena and I continue to encourage her one we hear the sound of camera's flashing, "You're in that jungle!"
Blair behind roaring with us, although she is still extremely tense. I laugh, with her trying to make her feel freer. Serena continues to encourage her, "You're a savage!"
Serena nods moving the hair out of her face, "Now let's do a prettier one this time, okay? You're Venus the half shell, right?"
Serena and I cover our chest before making a sexy face. Blair tries to copy making a slight, "Oh."
We all continue to make weird poses and jump around. Blair is still stiff but is doing better. I laugh loudly at our ridiculous poses moving my hair behind my ear. I hear more flashes and pull Serena away so we don't get into Blair's photos.
Serena moves back with me before looking at Blair from the sidelines, "Let's do something crazy like Britney with the umbrella. Okay, Britney with the umbrella. Go!"
Blair begins roaring and hitting the fake umbrella at the camera so Serena moves to the side so she would begin hitting her, allowing the camera to get Blair's face, "At the car! At the car!"
I run up with a new idea before standing in between them and putting my hands on my hip with an 'I don't care look', "Posh spice in America. Ready? Go!"
Blair straightened, "That's cyborg spice to you, okay", she begins to make robot noises while robotically moving around.
I continue to motivate her noticing the photographer annoyance at her joke, "You gotta pout more and strike."
Serena moves Blair's hand, "Remember, I taught you the hand on the hip strike it and pop."
Blair finally begins to get the hang of it and Serena and I move away, "Come on, give me more, give me more, you sexy beast. Oh, it looks so good! You're doing so good! You got it! Look how good you are. Pout, pout, pout."
Serena's phone rings in the middle of our encouragements. She begins to walk away only to be stopped by Blair, "What are you doing?"
Serena gives her a sorry smile looking at the clock, "Oh shoot, I gotta go meet Dan."
Blair looks at her nervously, "No, you're staying here, I need both of you. I can't let my mother down."
I look at Serena, not knowing what to tell her to do myself. She smiles at Blair before telling her she has to make a call.
The rules for a model the day of a photo shoot are similar to those of a patient pre-surgery. No food or drink 12 hours prior, wear comfortable clothing and make sure your affairs are in order. You never know what could go wrong in a flash.
Serena and I wake up early the next morning so we can meet Blair for her photoshoot. We get dressed in comfy clothes and grab an apple before heading out to the shoot in a taxi. I call Blair to tell her that we are on our way. She doesn't pick up so I leave a voicemail, "Hey B. You must either be sleeping or already on your way. But I can't wait to see you at the shoot. We're gonna have so much fun!"
Once I end the voicemail, Serena nudges my arm, just getting off the phone herself with someone, "Ms. Waldorf said that Blair is going to be late because she didn't wake up in time but, that we should come early anyway. Apparently Blair wants us to join her in the shoot."
Serena excitedly smiles, "This is going to be so much fun."
I smile happy that Blair is finally warming up to us agin. Once we get there we are rushed into hair an amkeup. I don't see Serena againuntil we are both omn the rooftop, funlly dressed and beautified.
Ms. Waldorf walka up to us with smiles, "Mhmm, you girls look stunning. Why don't yiu gi up and take a few practiceshots?"
I look at Serena unsure about everything, since we still haven't seen Blair yet. seren a smiles beforeheading in front of the camera. I follow her and wer begin posing.
It has been about an hour and I still haven't seen Blair. I was about to call her again when I see her on the roof, "Oh, there she is Blair! Come on, quick. What took you so long?"
Blaie scoffs before walking away. I run up to stop her with Serena following close behind. We finally manage to block her in the stairwell, "Blair?! Blair, wait where are you going? Blair, wait."
Serena frowns, ""Why are you so mad?"
Blairs scoffs looking at the two of us, "Why am I mad? You mean why aren't I furious? I can't believe for one second I thought that it'd be different this time!"
I frown realizing that Blair was never going to come to the photoshoot. It was a trick to get Serena and I to model.
Serena doesn't follow, "You thought what would be different?"
"You couldn't deal with the spotlight shining on me for once, could you?", Blair's voice breaks.
"What are you talking about? I was told we were doing this together. What did you not get my message?", Serena defends.
"What about this morning then? When you glanced at the call sheet, did you see my name on it? When I wasn't in hair and makeup, didn't that seem strange? When the dressing room only had your name on the door, what did you think they just forgot?", Blair explains to her like she is an idiot.
"Blair I am so sorry", I say while Serena explains, "I was told you were running late, and they asked me to do some test shots first. Blair, they told me that you wanted me here."
"And you believed them?" Blair asks us. I look down, embarrassed. She was right. Somewhere deep inside we knew but didn't say anything.
"We encouraged you to do this. Why would we try to steal something from you that we pushed you to do?", Serena shoots.
"Because you take everything from me! Nate, my mom!", Blair begins screaming, she scowls at Serena and I begin to feel like shit because she doesn't even know about me and Nate, ""You can't even help it. It's who you are. I just thought maybe this time it would be different."
She storms off, pushing Serena and I against the railing. Serena looks at me, tears clouding her eyes before she runs off too. I decide to just sit on the stairwell.
I don't cry. I've cried enough this week, I just try to think about how Serena and I are continuously put into these situations. Do we really crave this much attention or do we just attract it?
After a few minutes of useless philosophical thought, I get up and walk over to the dressing area. I notice Serena talking with Dan and make sure to find a booth far away from their conversation. I quickly dress into my clothes before heading towards the exit.
I was about to punch open the huge door when I turned around. I am not going to leave before having a talk with Eleanor, first.
I walk up to the rooftop again before storming towards Eleanor who already looks annoyed. She looks my way and rolls her eyes, "I assume you have also come to tell me that you quit for my daughter's fancy."
I look at her upset and shocked by her lack of concern for Blair's feeling, "Actually, I just came up here to say you should be ashamed for how you are treating Blair. I mean, she did all of this just to be with you. And this is how you treat her? And, yes, I also quit."
I walk away, ignoring whatever Eleanor had to tell me. Once I make it to the sidewalk, I see Serena and Blair waiting for me with goofy smiles on their face. They are holding piles of dresses in their hands and giggling like they just stole too many cookies from the cookie jar. I smile knowing that all is forgiven and allow them to pull me in the taxi.
We all change into a retro dress that Eleanor designed. Blair wore a blue one, Serena a red, and I am wearing an white one with a red belt. Serena tied a white ribbon in my hair and left the rest down. We go around the city taking pictures and posing. We just had fun like we used to. It was so much fun. It had to be one of the best days ever.
