This is a free commission I did. Given the title and the type of vibe I got from reading the first, I opted for an aquarium type of vibe adding the water effect vector and adding a blue soft light overlay to make it look like Shotaro is in an aquarium. Also, as the author pointed out when I sent her the cover, though there is some darkness in the story, they're still light reflecting on his face.

I'm glad you liked the cover. I had fun making this cover.
