ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 11: 그의 여자 친구 (ɢᴇᴜᴜɪ ʏᴇᴏᴊᴀ ᴄʜɪɴɢᴜ)- ʜɪꜱ ɢɪʀʟꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅ

The bunny guy or Jungkook or whatever you call him slammed the door out. I mimicked his line as he left.

"Grab anything you like from the closet on your left."

Asshole. Though I was bewitched by how handsome he is, he really is an asshole.

Fucking attitude, I hated it.

I always loved it, seeing guys with attitude in dramas and webtoons. But, believe me, once you face one in real life, no matter how handsome he may look, you still will be irritated by his behavior.

Would it hurt to be a gentleman?

I hated it most because no man in my whole life has ever shown this kind of attitude toward me. I bet he didn't even blink seeing me nothing but in a towel. It was embarrassing, like fucking embarrassing.

First, he went on without even knocking. Well, I know it's his home and he probably thought just because it is his house, he has the right to walk into a woman's room without knocking.

And then when he saw me in a towel, he didn't even bother thinking what I'd wear... Well, I know, he probably just thought it was none of his business.

But what next..? He just told me to grab anything from the closet.

What the hell?

What the hell am I supposed to do with all the men's clothes in the closet? Sorry, but I had already checked the closet.

Well, there was nothing I could do nothing other than shove into an oversized shirt that probably reached my knee. Yeah, and that's what I did.  

I needed to know what time it was and so, I looked for a clock around the room. There was the one on the bedside table. It was past four.

I sat on the bed, gathering everything together in my head. So...

I am Lee Yi-Ahn, who was promoted to captain in her late 20s, just in the day life showed her some silly miracle. When life on earth couldn't be any worse, for some reason, I was dragged into another universe where there are two daystars called Daniel and Jupiter. Yeah, and no sun.

As soon as I arrived here, I got back some memories about which I didn't have any idea while being on Earth. Well, I am certain those memories were from Earth since I just arrived here, let alone making memories. And those memories I shared with Rivik were definitely my childhood memories. I remembered those incidents clearly in my head, I just didn't remember Rivik and the facts I shared with him until now.

Now, what I don't know is- 

Where am I? Why am I here? Why did I get back those memories from Earth about whom I didn't know anything while being in there? What am I supposed to do here? How can I go back or do I even want to go back? 

Well, I guess, since I don't know anything about this universe, I'd have to somehow stick to this family and gather more information about this world. I know for a fact that I am not supposed to reveal that I'm from another world to anyone here. Not that they'll ever believe me anyway.

In every novel I've read, people usually freak out after finding out that they are no longer on the earth they used to live on. But for me, it's different. I kinda feel excited and a bit happy too. To put it straight, I was rather sick of my life on earth. I think I would not even be sad if I even get to know that I am stuck here and there's no way to return. Rather, I may even love it... starting a new life here in this universe. It's not like there's anyone who cares about me there on Earth anyway.

The hardest part here would be to gain the trust of the family members to let me stay. I already hate that guy, and staying under the same roof with that guy would be the last thing I'd ever wish for. But I guess there's nothing I could do anyway. I need to quickly find a way to stay here and while I am at it, I might also look for some books to know more about this world.

When would that lady come back? I think I like her. I could ask her for some books.

Since I didn't have anything to do, I planned to see around the new home I was planning to live in. So, I opened the door of the room and it made me grasp when the door made a little 'crack' noise. I hoped not to run into the guy here on my way.    

So, I tip-toed from the hallway to the stairs. While walking through the hallway, I noticed another room on the left side of my room which was just at the left of the stairs. So, basically, they have stairs in the middle which I didn't like, I prefer it in a corner but whatever. Not like I'm gonna live here forever anyway.  

Then, to the right side, I noticed two rooms, and also there was a metal door which was, from where I was standing, directly in front of me. The stairs were on my right side and all the other rooms' door was on my left side in a straight row. For a while, I felt inquisitive but in the next, help myself back thinking it might be something personal, or some route for some underground floor. Well, even if I wanted, I would never be able to trespass anyway since I clearly saw the security lock beside the door. 

Running down the stairs, the first thing I noticed was a big living room, which was really to my liking. There was a kitchen and another room there. Nothing in particular, unlike the second floor. 

I walked into the kitchen and found a glass to pour myself water. I finished it and then walked back to the living room. I hope they wouldn't mind if I watched TV, right? Since I was bored like hell and I didn't even have my phone about which I have no idea where it was lost. 

So, I made myself comfortable on the couch and turned on the TV. I kept moving through the channels thinking about what I should watch until I found a channel. They were airing drama. I hoped that I would be able to find out more about this world if I watched this world's dramas. 

Not even five minutes passed of me watching a drama of which I couldn't understand a thing not even the name was known when the doorbell rang. I hesitated to open the door and looked around to find none but me around. The bunny guy was still upstairs in his room. And I was not even sure if he heard the doorbell or if he would come down to open the door. And if he would be angry if I opened the door because I, myself was an unwelcomed visitor in this house. I thought to call him out to tell him that someone was out. 

But the bell rang again during my self-debate session and I felt bad about making whoever was outside stand this long. Reluctantly, I got out of my comfort and walked myself to the front door, and swung the door open. 

There stood a pretty attractive girl with a wide grin on her bright face. Upon seeing me, the smile and the brightness of her face went out like a popped balloon. She eyed me from top to bottom examining me. She suddenly seemed nervous and uncomfortable and her eyes were set somewhere down my face. 

Is it my breasts? Why the hell is she staring at them? 

I felt pretty irritated at her for staring at me but kept my face straight. Growing up as a lonely kid, I've faced even worst things that staring at me is a piece of cake for me to tolerate at this point.

We both stood there, staring at each other not knowing what to say about this encounter. I couldn't say anything because I didn't know who she was and not like I was in the place to ask. She probably was shocked to say anything. 

She was fidgeting her hand where there was a bouquet of red roses, finally before hesitantly asking, "Umm... where is Jungkook?" 

It took me some time to answer and I replied with a question instead, "Jungkook...?" 

As soon as the word left my mouth, I remembered that the bunny guy's real name was Jungkook. I had heard that noona call him. 

Suddenly, it hit me. I got it all. It all made sense in this way. The bouquet of red roses she was holding, who she was, and why she was suddenly nervous and uncomfortable seeing me, why she was eyeing me as if I'd done something wrong! 

Goddamnit! 

She misunderstood, she misunderstood it all! She must have been the girlfriend of that bunny! 

And, fuck! I was wearing her boyfriend's shirt at his boyfriend's house. She's probably pissed enough to dig my grave right here. 

And I finally noticed the fire in her eyes. 

"Oh, Please come in." I opened the door wide enough for her to get in, "He's-" I was cut off by a cold deep voice. 

"Who is it?" 

I looked back to see the bunny coming down the stairs. His eyes met mine for a brief second and they widened a bit and I completely noticed it. He then dragged his concentration back to the girl. I mean his girlfriend. 

"Is it you, Shin Sung Rin?" he uttered in an uninterested voice.

Why was he acting as if it was their first encounter? Did I calculate it wrong? But I was certain that she had something to do with the bunny.

"Hello. Yes, it's me," she politely smiled at him and literally shoved me off the door to get in even though there was enough space for her to enter.

I was completely shocked and annoyed at her behavior. Well, I know she had the right to be angry and was also thankful that she didn't actually kill me, but still, it was wrong of her to judge me without knowing the whole situation.

"Please sit down," Jungkook followed her to the living room without looking twice at me.

He sat across her turning off the TV that I couldn't even get the opportunity to watch. She then placed the flower before him, "I wanted to bring something for you. But I didn't know what you like, so I just bought them."

Well, not that I was expecting him to stand for me anyway, we barely know each other and she was his girlfriend. 

I sighed silently and closed the door behind me before walking straight to my room upstairs not even bothering to know what was going on. It was not my business, simply put.

I slammed the bedroom door behind me and dropped on the bed debating what to do now.

I was lying on my back, staring at the roof. My eyes traveled down to the clock again and it was half past 5. I'd grasped in shock when my eyes met the window again.

I jumped up from the bed and got a grip of myself, not screaming this time.

This time, the sky was pure purple!

It was really magnificent!

I was in a world where the sky changes color after a certain period!
