A/N: Hi guys π I'm going to skip Darkblade because it mainly focuses on Marinette on this episode and I wasn't sure how to include Gwen so, I am just going to The Mime.
πΈπ·πΈ
"This is rare," Gwen smirks, walking next to Alix.
Alix chuckled, "Yeah, it's been a while since we hung out."
Gwen shakes her head, laughing. "Yeah, good thing I just got out of work. I'm dying."
Alix laughs and walks backward, her focus on Gwen. Alix thinks that Gwen is cool and was confused about how she doesn't have a friend group. Alya tried getting her with her and Marinette but Gwen noticed how Marinette showed an unsure expression sometimes and backed off.
She would sometimes hang out with Juleka and Rose at the restaurants but Gwen felt like a third wheel when she comes along.
Then there's Kim and Max. Kim would often challenge her for anything and she would always win. Max is sweet and would often talk about technology and Gwen always talks about it. But Gwen would like to have brakes too.
Gwen doesn't talk much to the rest of her class but is always there when someone needs help with something. Alix has been noticing that Gwen would sometimes make a decent conversation with ChloΓ© too and it shocked everyone how Gwen laughed when ChloΓ© said something in one of their conversations.
Finally, there is Adrien and Nino. Gwen and Nino have a mutual friendship. He would sometimes annoy her in some things but Gwen would always annoy him back. Adrien on the other hand is sometimes always there with Gwen.
They even sometimes hang out after school when they both are not busy with something. Alix found it surprising how they stayed mutual since the kissing scene a month back.
"Because of work?" Alix asked.
Alix noticed how the poor girl would now go to work in the mornings on weekdays and afternoons on weekends. She and the rest of the class attempted to make the girl hang out with her when she gets out, but the poor girl would smile at them and say she is busy afterward.
Gwen shrugged, "You can say that. I haven't been able to sleep well for a while and it's just another day."
Alix stopped, "You have insomnia? Have you taken any medications for it?"
Gwen shook her head, "I did once. But slept for two whole days and missed school, remember? I'm not doing that again."
Alix chuckled, "Oh yeah when you came in with your hair all messed up."
Gwen rolled her eyes, "Yeah, yeah. Laugh all you want. I just want a decent sleep but that's not happening any time soon."
Alix hummed. She turned around and stopped at a skate park. Alix grinned and put on her rollerskates as Gwen took off her green coat and grabbed her skateboard.
Gwen smirked as she skated alongside Alix. Alix would throw tricks here and there and Gwen would always cheer her on.
They both laughed and skated for a few more hours through the streets. They rode through the traffic and jumped on the rails to slide down, passing people by.
Gwen laughed as police sirens were heard behind them. "Race ya!"
Alix's eyes widened and then smirked. They ran and rode faster, going through sharp turns and hiding from the cops.
Gwen saw in the corner of her eyes that Alix was catching up to her. So she used countermeasures.
Taking out her headphones and putting on her band music, made her go faster. Alix's eyes widened at her increase in speed and only stayed steady as she caught up.
There was a ramp in front of them and Gwen took it. She held on to her board as she flew in the air and made a flip. Her hood dropped, revealing her short blond hair. She grinned as she landed perfectly on the ground and slowed down to have Alix catch up.
Alix stopped and gasped for air, landing in front of her. Gwen chuckled, going through her bag and handing her a water bottle.
Alix took a long drink and sighed, rubbing her hand on her head, wiping the sweat. "Where did you learn to skate like that?"
Gwen shrugged, "Self-taught. I would always skate with my friends back home."
"Where did you live?"
"Queens, NY. I would always drag my friends to the park," Gwen chuckled sadly, remembering the times she, Harry, and...Peter...
Gwen's facial expression dropped for a moment. It has passed now almost four months and there has been no sign of going back to her dad. And now almost five months since Peter...
What will she do?
She snapped out of her daze as Alix placed a hand on her shoulder in worry. Gwen shook her head, "I'm fine. It's just that, I miss my friends."
Alix frowned sadly at her, she wishes to always be by her friend's side for anything. She just hopes nothing is troubling her.
Wanting to change the subject to make her friend be happy again, she looked up at the familiar poster of the Mime they are hosting at the Eiffel Tower.
"Have you thought about going to the Mime thing?" Alix asked, turning to her friend.
Gwen's eyes widened and cursed herself, "Shit. I forgot about that."
Alix laughed and had a hand on her waist, looking down at Gwen who sat on her board.
"If I remember correctly, MylΓ©ne gave you first seat tickets for the show, right? Why don't you go?"
Gwen sighed and rubbed her nape, "I'm not sure if I should go. I mean it's just someone pretending to have invisibility stuff in their hands and being in awe."
Alix chuckled, "But it's the greatest Mime in all of Paris. You deserve a break. Go to the event, you can even sleep on the show. Nobody is going to notice."
Gwen thought about it. She hasn't been able to sleep because of the nightmares and would always stay up all night, researching anything like portals or anything out of ordinary. Then she would then go and search it only to see that it was a fuse.
She deserves a break, right?
What the hell is she thinking about? No, she needs to find whatever is necessary to go home and defeat Kingpin and Murdock.
Her eye twitch in annoyance as she remembered Murdock had a devil grin and stared at her as if she were an insect.
"Are you okay?"
"Huh?" she turned to Alix who looked at her weirdly.
"You've been glaring at nothing and clenching your fists. Are you really mad that you are going to The Mime? It's nothing if you don't want to go. You don't have to. I'm just saying that if you're sleep-deprived and go to the event, and it finds you boring, you can sleep and no one will notice."
Gwen looked up at her and softly chuckled at her friend. She nodded, "Sure, if I have time."
Alix grinned and got into her running stance, which made Gwen quirk an eyebrow. "What's up with you?"
"Race ya!" she didn't get a say as Alix bolted back to the skating park and leave the girl into dust.
Gwen shook her head and stood up, she stood on her skateboard and rode through the streets. She didn't care if she lost or not, she only found it soothing how the streets in Paris were smooth. She let her board take her where she needed to go.
She passed through The Louvre and stopped as her senses went off again. "What the hell?" She looked around but nothing.
She looked deeper and spotted Ladybug fighting a tall man with a derby hat.
Gwen sighed, "I'll never get a break."
She rode her skateboard passing them. The Mime took notice of her calm demeanor and swiped an invisibility whip at her.
Her senses went haywire and dodged. The process wasn't hard if it wasn't for her losing balance and falling to the ground.
"Shit," she cursed.
"Get out of here!" Ladybug shouted and dodged The Mime's attack. Gwen looked around and found a spot to hide.
πΈπ·πΈ
Ghost swung on the scene and kicked The Mime before he threw an arrow at Ladybug. He glared at her.
"I'm not a fan of mime's but this is interesting, hehe," Ghost chuckled.
"Ghost, the akuma! It's under the derby!" Ladybug exclaimed.
"Got it."

In Adrien's car, he with Natalie and the chauffeur rode to the Eiffel Tower for the show. Natalie was currently talking to Gabriel on the phone while Adrien looked out the window.
"Yes, sir. Understood, sir. I'm sure he'll understand, sir," Natalie hung up and turned to Adrien.
Adrien sighed, already knowing what she was going to say.
"My dad's flaking, isn't he? Let me guess. Something came up?" he deadpanned.
"Yes, but he has reserved the best seats in the house for you, Adrien. Front row."
"As usual. The best money can buy," Adrien rolled his eyes.
The chauffeur stopped the car when he saw Ghost flying and landed in front of them. Ghost swatted the arrow coming to her and turned to the car, knocking on the window but her focus was on The Mime.
"Get out of the car and go find a place to hide, we'll cover you," she gritted her teeth when a arrow came close to her arm but dodged it and turned to the car.
She stopped as Adrien stared at her. He stared at her back.
Ghost's senses went off again and grabbed the arrow that was inches from impaling Adrien's face.
Adrien's eyes widened at her reflex and rushed out of the car with Natalie and his chauffeur.
Ghost sighed and grabbed onto the car, lifting up above her head. She's using most of her strength on this one and waited until The Mime was completely distracted.
Ladybug saw through her plan and immidiately got into action. She even threw her yo-yo at him, making him drop the bow.
Ghost smirked as she threw the vehicle at him. Her smirk dropped as The Mime opened a box and pulled his invisible bazooka on his shoulder.
Her eye twitched. "There's no way..."
He pulled the trigger and exploded the vehicle that was coming near him. The car pieces flew everywhere. Ghost webbed some pieces before it fell on Ladybug and moved out of the way.
Her eyes widened as The Mime turns to her and moves his hand to some kind of box and threw over her head. Being bewildered about what he threw, her senses went off too late as she had to carry what was above her.
She grunted by the sudden pressure and kneeled down and pushing it up. The Mime nodded in satisfaction for throwing a tank at her.
He then turned to Ladybug to wrap his whip around her, making her squirm in his hold. Ghost noticed the sudden weight and fell to the ground. Her head snapped up to Ladybug and clumsily ran over to her.
The Mime didn't see her and only focused to get Ladybug's miraculous, and then he'll get Ghost-Spider's later.
He pulled his whip, having Ladybug dragged to him, but Chatnoir arrived and pushed him away with his staff.
"Keep those hands to yourself, clown!" Chat smirked and turned to his partners. "It's okay, I've got this."
Chat run to The Mime but bumped into a cell door and fell back. Ghost ran and punched through the cell but The Mime was quicker and slapped her backward.
She blinked, "That hurt!" she rubbed her nose.
Ladybug and Chat ran to the cell door as The Mime locks it and bows, leaving. They tried pulling it but it was no use. "Apparently, not seeing is believing," Ladybug sighed.
"We can't let him go like that!" Chat exclaimed, stomping back to Ghost.
Ladybug's breath hitched as The Mime mime a car and drove away. Chatnoir huffed and ran towards the cell doors.
Ladybug noticed this and called out to him, "No, wait, don't!"
Chat realized too late as he met air and tripped over his feet and fell to the ground. "There, I did it."
Ladybug facepalmed and sighed, "I wish you did. When he started miming the car, the bars disappeared." She threw her yo-yo and started chasing after The Mime.
Ghost stood up and webbed a building and started swinging.
"Hey! Wait!" Ghost heard Chat behind them.
πΈπ·πΈ
They all jumped and swung to The Mime who was driving ridiculously on the street. "That's so cool. I want one."
"Now is not the time for complimentary, Ghost," Ladybug interrupted, landing on top of his car. Chat and Ghost following her.
"Nice ride, but if I were you, I would have at least made it convertible," Chat voiced in.
The Mime frowned and drove faster, almost throwing Ladybug off balance if it wasn't for Ghost grabbing her wrist. The Mime then drove the car sideways, trying to make them fall off.
Ghost spotted a troupe bus in front of them and saw the similarities between him and the poster and realized what happened. "He's one of the actors from the theatre troupe, and he's after that bus!"
The Mime gritted his teeth and jumped out of the car, landing on the sidewalk.
"Where is he going? We gotta stop this thing!" Ladybug exclaimed.
Ghost smirked and jumped into the seat and didn't see any buttons or anything, "This is so cool."
"Slam down on the brake!" Chat shouted.
Ghost looked back seeing The Mime about to mime something and turned back to the wheel.
"Hang on! I'm taking us to the bus before he mimes again!" She drove faster making the others exclaim. She yelled in excitement as she made a sharp turn and caught up.
Ghost drove next to the bus and Chat and Ladybug jumped on top of the bus. The car disappeared and she was about to fall and scrape to the ground if it wasn't for Ladybug wrapping her yo-yo at her.
"Thanks," Ghost turned to The Mime, who was catching up.
"Where could the akuma be?" Chat squinted at him.
Ladybug grinned, "Inside his hat!"
"How'd you know?" he turned to her.
Ladybug smirked, crossing her arms, "I have hidden talents. Trust me on this one."
The Mime was getting closer and Ghost utilized her webs to attach a web cocoon as a net, her eyes widened as The Mime jumped through without sticking and jumped onto cars, finally landing on top of the bus.
"You better distract him," Ladybug spoke to Chat who nodded.
Chat jumped off the bus and jumped towards the front and distracted The Mime, she and Ladybug snuck behind The Mime to grab his hat. He noticed and attacks them. They both dodged.
Chat saw it as a chance and knocked The Mime off the bus, Ghosts' eyes widened and grabbed his wrist, before falling.
The Mime looked up at her and tried to get her arm bracers. She blinked, 'Is he trying to get my so called miraculous?'
She dodged and was about to fall off when Chat grabbed her ankles, pulling her up. She turned to Ladybug, "His hat! Grab his hat!"
Ladybug nodded and got closer but backed off as The Mime swung an invisible hammer where she once stood.
Flinching at the noise, Ghost accidentally lets him go. He falls on top of a car, swerving at his weight. He stood up and made a chainsaw to saw the ceiling of the car and jumped in, telling the driver to go catch up to them.
Chat helped Ghost stand up as Ladybug narrowed her eyes at The Mime.
"We got to get the passengers to safety!"
"Can I lend a helping paw?" Chat punned.
Ladybug nodded to Ghost, "Yeah, cover us!"
"Hurry up, my lady!" he gotten to a stance.
Ghost ripped the bus doors away, wincing at her strength. Ladybug glared at her as Ghost nervously laughed, getting in.
"Stop the bus!" Ladybug ordered.
One of the passengers, a woman, walked up to them, "Ladybug, Ghost-Spider, what's happening?"
"One of your actors has been akumatized, and for some reason, he seemed to be heading in for your troupe," Ghost answered.
"Fred?" the woman's eyes widened.
They were going to continue talking when a wheel popped, having the bus swerve. Ghosts' eyes widened and webbed the entrance, in case someone falls out. She spotted Chat run to the front and use his staff to stop the bus from crashing.
"Is everyone all right?" Ghost turned to the passengers.
She sighed in relief to see no one got hurt.
"Stay inside and don't panic. We'll get this under control," Ghost ripped the webbing, allowing she and Ladybug to get out.
Before they did, a ginger-haired man raised a hand.
"Ladybug, I know why he's after us. I took his role from him. But he can perform instead of me! I don't care anymore! Please, just keep us all safe..." he whimpered behind his seat.
The woman from before turned to him, "What do you mean you took this role from him? He lost it!"
He chucked nervously, "Not exactly. There's something I have to tell you."
Ghost's senses went off and rushed outside to Chat before The Mime got to him. They both started fighting against him. Ghost would throw punches and kicks when The Mime missed his sword while Chat used his staff to fight off his sword.
The Mime sliced at her, and she dodged again. But The Mime didn't hesitate to kick her away and turn to Chat. They both fought as The Mime tripped Chat and pushed him to the ground, reaching for his ring.
Ladybug ran up to him but The Mime pointed his sword at her, almost impaling her.
He gets closer to Chat but Ghost webbed his hand from going closer.
"Not so fast, clown!" she pulled.
Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around him and also pulled, "I don't know what's made you feel this violent, but I don''t think your daughter MylΓ©ne would approve!"
Ghost pulled him away from Chat and dodged a swipe from The Mime's sword. She stood in front of her partners.
Her eyes widened as The Mime mimics a bomb. "Shit."
She ran towards him as he threw the bomb at her direction.
Chat and Ladybug screamed over to her, but she used her body as shield and was relieved that it didn't cause too much damage on her. But the explosion surprised her, making her fall back to her partners.
"He sure brings a whole new meaning to silent but deadly," Chat joked helping her up.
Ladybug groaned and used her Lucky Charm, dropping a shoebox in her hands.
"A shoebox? Great. There better be some explosive boots in there or something," Chat deadpanned.
"You got this," Ghost nodded as she and Chat fought against The Mime and Ladybug thinks of a plan.
Ladybug looked around and grinned, "Of course! We have to make him really angry! Blow his fuse!"
Ghost dodged a swipe from The Mime and directed a kick but he dodged. She turned to Ladybug in bewilderment and turned to Chat who was thinking the same thing.
"You don't think he's angry enough?"
"Chatnoir, you're good at annoying people, do your thing!" Ladybug ran over to the woman in the troupe bus.
"Hey!" he pouted and turned to Ghost who nodded. "That's true."
Ghost and Chat continued to fight The Mime until they stopped when they overheard Ladybug behind them calling out to him.
She had a homemade projector with the previous poster against the Eiffel Tower. It's picture was large and it was shown.
"Hey, Mime! Nice poster, don't you think?" Ladybug smirked.
The Mime stopped fighting off the two heroes and looked over the Eiffel tower, showing the poster. His eye twitched in annoyance and ran toward the tower.
He jumped in the air and swung his sword on it. Hoping that it was paper, it was not as half the Tower slides over and falls.
The crowd screams in fear as the tower was close to fall on them. Ghost's eyes widened and got into her stance, in case Ladybug's plan doesn't work.
The Mime mimes a shield and stopped it from falling further.
The heroes smiled, "Yes! Remember, he can only mime one thing at a time."
"So he's cornered," Chat smirked. "Good thinking, my lady."
Ghost smirks walking over to The Mime and webbed the hat to her and passing it to Ladybug. She grabbed the akumatized picture of MylΓ©ne and ripped it. The Akuma flew out and Ladybug purified it and put everything back to normal.
The Mime turned back to Fred.
The sky once blue slowly turned purple as the sun set down the city. Ladybug, Chat, and Ghost pounded their fists in victory.
The three watched as Fred reconciled with his boss and co-worker. Ghost often thought how easy it would be to forgive someone. She looked up to the purple sky and wonders too.
When she goes back, it would take a while for her to clear her name. For her dad to be by her side. For herself, for hurting Peter and not protecting him enough.
She knew that in her world, sure, it can take years but the people might forgive her but she knew that she'll never forgive herself and get over her best friend's death.
As long as she has air on her lungs and feels the pain from every punch, and kicks she takes in, she'll never stop.
Ghost broke out of her daze as she heard Ladybug's earrings beeping, alerting them that she's running out of time.
Ladybug smiled, "Better be going."
Chat smirked, leaning on one leg, "Such a shame. I could have been your date in the play tonight. Just you and me."
Ghost chuckled, shaking her head. She webbed the tower and swung over the city.
She knew that when she'll be gone, she's not sure the heroes would be either worried or relieved to have her gone.
One thing's for sure, she'll sort of miss this dimension. But for now, she's not going anywhere and she will protect this city by foolish villains.
πΈπ·πΈ
Gwen got out of her suit and called Alix what happened. She made up an excuse that The Mime trapped her in a box and she lost unconscious.
Alix was cool about it after laughing, but told her that she saw the news and went home.
She also suggested Gwen to go to the Mime performance and get some sleep but Gwen smiled and went home.
Entering the cold and dark apartment was nothing different for her. The warm feeling having one of your family members at least greet you in the light up kitchen would be nice.
Gwen looked over to the kitchen and frowned that no one was there. As usual.
She has to get used to this lonely feeling every time she comes home.
Well, to the place she is living at the moment. She sighed and placed her skateboard and her green coat on her sofa.
She was grateful no one attempted to steal them as she idiotically left them on the street. She was about to walk over to her bed room but instead walked to her guest room.
She made sure to add a thumb print lock so no one will be allowed to get in. Inside, she had maps, drawings, push pins, and sticky notes on the wall.
She also had some machinery coming from the trash outside. People are dumb to throw away their blenders and tvs.
She sat at the lonely chair in front of her map. Her eyes narrowed as her eyes wandered across it.
Gwen sighs and smirks, her blue eyes glinted dangerously in the dark. "Once I'll get my transporter ready...I'm coming for you Murdock."
