It was a nice, warm day. The city crowded around and enjoyed their day in any way. It only helped more as billions of posters were plastered on every wall and in every corner. 

It didn't bother the particular blond as he basically ignored it. But there is one thing he wanted to do this day. It is the only day he can do it, but there is one problem. 

Asking his father's permission. 

So, what is he doing now? He's standing in front of his father's office. He contemplated just asking for the DVD but his father is always busy. He wouldn't be surprised to see that his father lived in his office. 

He took a deep breath, encouraging himself to do it. He raised a fist and softly knocked on the dark doors. Not hearing a response, he waited a few more seconds before sighing, starting to walk away but he heard his father's voice and entered, mentally patting his shoulder. 

As Adrien entered, he saw his father working once again. It made him nervous as he felt that it would be a sensitive topic to talk about and he didn't know how to bring it up. 

He subconsciously fidgeted with his ring, looking everywhere but his father. 

"Father," he started. "There's something I'd like to talk about. Can I have a few minutes of your time?" he looked up at his father. 

"Yes, of course," Gabriel replied, focusing on his project. 

His response surprised the boy, causing him to gasp and grin. "Really?"

"I'll tell Nathalie to let you know as soon as I'm available."

Adrien sighed, not surprised by his words. "It'll be too late then."

Gabriel glanced at Adrien and frowned at the unfamiliar ring the boy was fidgeting with. He didn't say anything that voiced his concerns but only straightened himself up. 

"Shouldn't you be practicing the piano?" 

Adrien stopped, realizing his mistake. "Yes," he sighed, walking out and closing the door behind him.

"Radiant...Carefree...Dreamy...Adrien, the fragrance!"

"Pfft!" Gwen choked as she fell off her couch, laughing hysterically at the sudden ad on her T.V. Her familiar best friend smiling angelically and running over rooftops as well as having basically wings on him made her choke on her laugh. 

"There's no way," she laughed, wiping away the tears.  

It was a weekend for the girl. She had to get to work in a few hours and decided to sleep in for a few minutes. But the obnoxious sounds of people outside her window made her wake up and drink her coffee. 

She half expected to watch that very old show she used to watch when she was younger Divas del azúcar at this particular time. But she spat out her coffee once she saw her best friend on TV. 

She would often see him on TV for modeling which she roots for and always gets a free sample of the products. 

But Gwen couldn't stop laughing at the innocent ad. She had received a perfume of his brand a few days ago but she didn't realize they have a whole ad for it. She chuckled, shaking her head and walking out to her balcony, taking her coffee with her. 

She sighed as she leaned on her balcony in her pajamas. Basically consisting of a loose black crop top with grey joggers. Her short hair was puffed up but she didn't care as she just woke up and watched the most hilarious ad she's ever seen. 

Gwen gulped her coffee before bursting out laughing at the number of posters everywhere, not forgetting the video.

Adrien ran around the city, making sure to hide from the views. He silently groaned as his face is plastered everywhere. He looked everywhere and he seemed to be in the clear. 

Well, that seemed to be the case if it wasn't for a teenage boy to loudly call him out, alerting Adrien. 

"Adrien?! The Adrien Agreste?! This is awesome!" he grinned. 

Adrien blinked and awkwardly laughed, waving at him. "Okay, bye." He tried walking away but the boy kept following him. 

"The first time I saw you in that ad, I told myself, 'Wayhem, I got to meet this guy. He's so cool!' What if I was, like, your biggest fan?" 

Adrien tried to walk at a faster pace. "Yeah, sure," he smiled but stopped as Wayhem wrapped an arm around his shoulder, stopping him. 

"Say 'cheese'," he grinned as he took a flashy photo. He moved away from the model and started posting it on the media. 

"Me and Adrien. This is the best day of my life!"

Adrien's eyes widened as he realized what he was doing. "No! Don't post it up on–"

Wayhem grinned as he posted the picture. 

"...the Internet," Adrien sighed. It took him a minute to stand up straight and walk away before anyone else see him. 

He grabbed his coat, attempting to hide his face while walking away. It didn't seem to work as Wayhem followed him.

"Hold up! Could you autograph my cologne bottle of Adrien? And my life-size cutout?" Wayhem grinned as he quite literally pulled out a life-size cut-out of the model from his pocket.

Adrien wasn't sure and stiffened as he saw the familiar limo behind Wayhem. "Some other time. I've gotta get going," he smiled as ran away. 

"No! Wait! Adrien!" Wayhem ran after him, alerting everyone around. They all heard the name and gasped, running after them to also get an autograph. 

Adrien evaded everyone who would chase after him including the fire department and a flying helicopter.

Gwen groaned as she popped her back and ate some pancakes she made. She hummed to her vinyl record Adrien got her for Christmas and looked through her phone. 

She received a message from the girls earlier to go to the pool but Gwen told them that she was going to work later on and won't be able to make it. 

Gwen glanced at the time and saw she had at least three hours before she heads to work. She sighed and stretched her back, yawning silently before screaming. She laughed later on as she felt the numbness in her arms. 

As she finished her pancakes, she looked around her kitchen and noticed the lack of groceries. She deadpanned as she rubbed her nape. 

"I just went a month ago," she whined as she grabbed her shoes and her bag along with her keys, walking out of her apartment. "They better have my favorite chips. They're hardly there," she murmured to herself as she took a corner.

No point in changing as the grocery store is literally across the street. She ignored the slight pang on her chest as she will pass by the familiar store where Tony lives in. 

Gwen took a deep breath and stepped out of the building. She dropped her skateboard on the ground and started riding to her destination. 

The small hall around the city was empty which relieved the girl. She closed her eyes, enjoying the small breeze hitting her softly. She teased herself, raising her arms from her sides and pretending to fly.

The darkness behind her eyelids was slightly interrupted by the sunlight but she felt comfort from it, feeling the heat around her. She hummed to her music and kept going, grinning as she went at a steady pace. 

It was slightly interrupted as she heard hurried steps coming and opened her eyes. Her senses flared, causing her to stop her skateboard. She didn't expect someone to bump into her harshly. 

Her foot was still on the skateboard and didn't anticipate the unbalanced posture, causing her to fall backward in a yelp.

She reached for air, fully believing the air was solid and can be caught. She grabbed something and was relieved to not fall to the ground. She blinked as she was grabbed by the waist. 

Her head flung back at the momentum. She later sighed as she moved her head back. 

"Thank you, but to be fair. It was your faul–Omen?!" she blinked. 

She frowned as Adrien's face was flushing as he stared down at her. That's when she realized she was in his arms as her feet were on the ground. Adrien's arms were wrapped around her waist while her hands were on his collar, holding onto him. 

But this story was not meant for children's eyes, causing the invisible sparkles to pop. 

Adrien blinked out of his state and flinched. "I'm sorry!"

Gwen yelped as Adrien unintentionally dropped her. "Ow." She groaned as she rubbed her bottom. She looked up to see Adrien apologizing and grabbing her hand, helping her up. 

"Wait. You live near here," Adrien started, clapping his hands together in a plea. "Can I hide out at your place?"

Gwen's eye twitched. "Huh? Now? I have to work in a few hours."

"Adrien!" 

Gwen stopped as she heard several voices calling out the boy's name and saw the boy's face paling at the sound. "Too late."

Gwen glanced over his shoulder and stiffened as a crowd was running around, passing them. That was until Wayhem stood in front of them and caught them in the corner of his eyes. He grinned, pointing directly at Adrien. 

"There he is!"

The crowd stopped and grinned as they saw him with Gwen. Her eye twitched at the attention. 

"My place? I have a few hours," she shrugged as she grabbed the boy's wrist and her skateboard, running off to the park. 

Gwen saw that they won't make it to her place in time and jumped inside the fountain. Thankfully, there wasn't any water around so they hid, crouching below. The crowd passed, completely missing them. 

"Thank you for saving me. People are going crazy over this ad," Adrien sighed in relief. 

Gwen snorts, clearing her throat. "Speaking of ad, I'm surprised you didn't call me in the film," she teased. 

Adrien deadpanned. "It was funny for you, wasn't it?"

"It was hilarious," she deadpanned. 

Adrien wasn't surprised and chuckled at her. "I thought it was funny too." He stopped as he sniffed and took in the familiar scent. He narrowed his eyes and stared at Gwen. He smirked as he scooted closer to her, making her stiffen. 

"Are you?" he sniffed again. "Are you wearing my perfume?" he chuckled. 

Gwen laughed too, lying on her back. "I wanted to smell it. As much as I don't like perfumes, this one smelled nice."

"I don't know about that. I think it's..." Adrien frowned as he took in what she was wearing and flushed to see her stomach from her crop top and gaped at the visible six-pack she had. "...embarrassing?"

Gwen chuckled, not taking notice of his stare and she sat up, looking around. "So...do you still want to hide in my place or?"

Adrien stopped her, pulling her back to hide when he saw his bodyguard's limo. Gwen saw it and crouched too. "Your bodyguard? Did you snuck out again?"

"Yeah," he chuckled nervously. "I'm supposed to be home right now and–"

They stopped as they saw a flash behind them and turned around to see a man voicing out as he typed. 

"Adrien and his girlfriend in the fountain!"

Gwen's eyes widened as she didn't want her friends to get the wrong idea. More particularly to the girl who is in love with the boy. 

"No!" she went to grab the phone but it was too late as the man had already posted the photo online. She groaned as she grabbed Adrien and ran away. 

Going back to her place would be a mess as people can follow them to her apartment and get the wrong idea. 

That's where they wind up in the subway, panting at how much they ran. 

Gwen groaned as she felt the familiar buzzing in her phone and took it out. She winced as the familiar blue-haired girl was calling her. 

"You've got to be kidding me?" she groaned. 

"I'm so sorry I got you in this crazy mess, Gwendy. Plus, now everyone thinks you're my girlfriend," he smiled at the girl. 

He flushed lightly as his heart skipped a beat when he called them boyfriend and girlfriend. He glanced at the girl but Gwen was looking down at her phone, not answering the call, nervous for her friend. 

"Don't worry about it," Gwen shrugged. "We have to find a way to my apartment. I can't change into my suit, I don't know if they have cameras here. By the way," she turned to him. "Do you think it's gonna be okay between you and your dad? With this whole thing?"

"Knowing our bad luck, I'm not sure," he smirked which made the girl laugh. 

"Don't you have your Marinette's lucky charm?" she asked.

Adrien grinned, pulling it out of his pocket and showing it to her. They both sighed in relief and just hoped they can have the power of luck coming from it. The train passed by as the passengers got off and walked to their destinations. 

Gwen and Adrien flinched as they heard a crack and looked down and gasped audibly in horror as the lucky charm cracked. 

"That's not good," they both murmured. 

"It's Adrien from the ad! And his pretty girlfriend! There they are!" a girl called out, pointing at them from across. The people heard and piled up, greeting them while taking pictures of them. 

Gwen and Adrien flinched and ran back to the entrance they went in when they encountered Adrien's bodyguard. Adrien grabbed her hand and ran back the opposite way but stopped too when they saw Wayhem in front of them. 

They were cornered. 

Adrien looked both sides and back to the train. He narrowed his eyes as he picked Gwen up and jumped onto the train. Gwen yelped as they fell to the ground in time for the doors to shut. 

Gwen jumped up and raised her fists but sighed in relief to see no one in this cubicle. She sat on one of the seats with Adrien beside her. 

"That was exciting," she chuckled as she moved her shoulders. 

Adrien frowned, fidgeting with his ring. "I'm so sorry about this, Gwen. When do you have to work?"

"It's fine," Gwen sighed, closing her eyes. "I don't have until a few hours. Besides, I'm still in my pj's."

Adrien laughed which caused Gwen to laugh with him. They sat in silence, enjoying each other's company. She closed her eyes, humming to an old tune when Adrien spoke up. 

"Are you okay?"

"Omen, I'm fine," she chuckled. 

"No, I mean. With the lights and stuff?" he looked up at the girl and saw her slowly opening her eyes. 

Gwen glanced at him from the corner of her eyes. She softly smiled at him, bumping her head against his lightly. Adrien's eyes didn't waver at her but Gwen did as she closed her eyes once again. 

"I'm fine."

She didn't want to worry her best friend about her problems. It is her problem, she'll solve it by herself. She doesn't want to bother anyone with something that would affect them immediately. 

She already faced the facts. One of these days, the power will be too much for her and she'll die. There's no point in crying over spilled milk. Right now, she'll enjoy running around and playing hero and being with her friends. 

Gwen smiled as she hummed to her tune once again. Adrien can only stare at her with sadness, not knowing what to say next.

Adrien and Gwen snuck into the theatres. Gwen had thought to wear disguises and went to a costume store. Gwen was hoping to wear a wig and glasses but Adrien went crazy, getting a helmet and getting Gwen to wear a towel with goggles. 

Gwen didn't want to ruin the boy's fun and wore it to the theatres. They walked towards the front of the theatre and sat in the middle. 

"Good thinking, Gwendy. Without these disguises, we never would have made it here," he smiled, turning to his best friend. 

"No, it was your idea to duck in this theatre. It was smart," Gwen grinned. 

"Actually," he smiled. "This is where I was heading when those crazed fans suddenly showed up. Thanks to you, my father won't find out."

Gwen hummed, understanding what he was going through. She frowned as she didn't know why he wanted to go to this specific movie. 

"I wasn't sure my father would've allowed me to see this particular movie," Adrien sadly smiled. 

"Is it a scary movie? You know The Woman in Black II was trash," she deadpanned. 

Adrien laughed, shaking his head, knowing full well when Gwen snuck him out of his mansion to watch the movie but was pissed when she watched it. But she had to stay and let him sleep because he was still afraid.

"No, no. Don't worry. It's a very rare movie that I've never been able to see. It's not on the Internet and my father's hidden the only DVD somewhere at home. See, my mother played the leading role," he smiled.

Gwen frowned in worry. The boy hardly talked about his mom. She knew how much the woman meant a lot for his family. She smiled at him, grabbing his hand and looking up at the screen. 

"Must be awesome," she smiled. 

He smiled back, tightening his hold on her hand. "It's only being shown once. Today, in this theatre. I couldn't talk to my father about it, so I decided to sneak out, unnoticed."

Adrien stopped as someone sat a few seats away from them. The man glanced at them and narrowed his eyes to see them better but Adrien looked away and sighed in relief to see the man focusing back on the movie. 

"I don't think 'unnoticed' would word it," she smirked at Adrien. 

"Oh well. At least I'll get to see it with you," he smiled at her. 

Gwen's eyes widened and lightly gasped. Gwen gulped, not knowing how to reply to that. 

The screen lit up, showing Adrien's ad. Gwen's face flushed as she slapped a hand on her mouth, trying to muffle her laughs. This caused Adrien to glance at her and laugh too when he saw how much she was holding back. 

When Adrien jumped in the air in the ad, Gwen covered her face with her hands while Adrien slapped her back, trying to hold back his laughs when he finally sees how funny the ad was. 

As the ad finished, Gwen let out slow breaths as she tried to calm herself down. Adrien was still grinning at her which caused her to choke on her laugh once again. 

A few people around them shushed her but Gwen waved them off as she slapped a hand on Adrien's face, knowing full well that if she sees his face, she won't control her laughs. 

Gwen stopped as the lanterns around the theatre dimmed, showing the movie. 

Her eyes were captivated by the mood in the intro. It was raining as a woman was holding her umbrella as she passed by the Seine. Her hand was outstretched as she felt the raindrops on her hand.

The title showed up which caught Gwen's attention.

Solitude.

Gwen's eyes followed the credits and found the familiar name on the screen. Emilie Agreste. 

Adrien saw it too as the woman on the screen didn't show her face. He was relieved, knowing he really is watching the movie. He took off his helmet, placing it on his lap. 

It was ruined immediately as a flash appeared beside him. They both turned to see the same person a few seats away from them voicing out as he typed. 

"Adrien in a helmet at the movies with his girlfriend wearing a towel!"

"Fuck," Gwen's eye twitched. 

Not a minute later, a swarm crowded them as they took more pictures of them. Gwen tried her best to shield Adrien as he put on his helmet. Gwen could tell how overwhelmed the boy was and tried to usher him out of the theatre. 

"We're trapped! What are we gonna do?" Adrien asked. 

Gwen looked for an exit when her senses flared, alerting her. Her eyes flashed blue for a moment and she looked up at the ceiling. 

The crowd stopped as they felt the place tremble and some grunts coming from outside. Gwen didn't waste time. Her eyes widened and grabbed Adrien's wrist. 

"We got to go!" she ran, dragging the boy with her. Adrien yelped at her speed and strength. 

"Is this one of your Gwendy-tingles?!" he screamed as he almost crashed by the wall. 

"My what?!" she looked back but it was a mistake as the ceiling crashed down above them. 

Gwen improvised, throwing the boy away from the crash. Adrien grunted as he landed on the ground. He coughed at the smoke and panicked as he couldn't see Gwen anywhere. 

"Gwen? Gwen!" 

Adrien stopped as he heard a growl as the light from the ceiling darkened. He looked up and gaped at the large gorilla growling at them. Adrien was paralyzed in his spot as the gorilla grabbed him, pulling him out of the theatre and letting him sit on his palm.

Adrien narrowed his eyes at it, finding it familiar. His eyes widened in recognition. "Are you...my bodyguard?!"

Gorizilla sniffed him and stopped as the crowd from before saw what happened and started throwing their trash at him. Adrien gasped as Gorizilla flung a fist back, intending to hurt them when he stood up and waved his helmet.

"Stop! I'm the one you wanted. Leave them alone!"

Gorizilla grunts as he holds Adrien tightly. Adrien accidentally dropped the helmet, landing in front of Wayhem. Gorizilla glanced at the ruckus below before leaping away. 

The crowd was terrified and ran away. Wayhem on the other hand was terrified for the model. He goes to pick up the helmet when a hand abruptly dug out of the rubble, scaring him. 

Gwen punched her way out and panted, coughing up the dust. She spotted the helmet and gritted her teeth in exhaustion. 

"Oh, Omen. Now gorillas are chasing after you? Come on!" She got out of the rubble, ignoring the blood seeping through her temple as it dropped over the right side of her face. 

It's barely a scratch. 

"And what the hell is a Gwendy-tingle?" her eye twitched as she stood up straight, popping her back. 

She looked around and stopped at the familiar boy on the ground, staring agape at her. She bit her lip in awkwardness and waved at him. 

"Okay...Well...This is me, leaving," she chuckled awkwardly and made her way to change into her costume.

Ghost swung through the city, finally catching up to Gorizilla. He was huge! Looking down at her bracer, she started calculating an idea in order to save Omen. 

Her swinging was going quick as she spotted Ladybug running towards Gorizilla as well. Ghost unintentionally winced, knowing how much Ladybug likes the boy. 

"She's going to kill me," she groaned, facepalming. 

She followed after Ladybug when they saw Gorizilla climbing Montparnasse Tower and climbing to the roof. As he reached his destination, he let out a roar that shook the building lightly. 

Ghost frowned. She needs to find a way to battle Gorizilla without hurting Adrien. But how? She gritted her teeth and gave a final jump that reached the tower. 

Ladybug also arrived at the tower in front of Gorizilla, glaring at it. "Let him go!" She jumped over it and threw her yo-yo but Gorizilla ducked, causing her to miss. 

"Ladybug!" Adrien grinned in relief. 

Gorizilla attempts to grab Ladybug but she dodged him. She attempted to hit him with her yo-yo but it was ineffective. 

She held onto the fur but yelped as Gorizilla tried to throw her off.  She ran up to his shoulder but stopped as Gorizilla moved Adrien in front of her. Her eyes met Adrien's and gritted her teeth as she tried to open Gorizilla's hand that was holding him.

"There's no use! He's too strong!" Adrien worried, looking around for Gwen. 

 Gorizilla moved Adrien away and growled at her, which caused her to be unbalanced and fall off. She managed to catch herself with her yo-yo and tried to call her team but Chatnoir didn't answer. 

She goes to call Ghost when Gorizilla looked down at her and tried to swipe her away. Using her yo-yo, she climbed back up to the roof and used her lucky charm. 

She blinked as a remote-controlled helicopter toy landed in her hands. "A helicopter? It really isn't a good time to play."

She took out the toy and the remote. She directed the toy to fly off but it didn't take long as Gorizilla caught her, tightening his grip on her. Gorizilla grinned and tried to take Ladybug's earrings but saw his mistake as he was holding both Adrien and Ladybug with both hands. 

Ghost smirked behind her mask and jumped on top of Gorizilla. 

"Mask!"

"Copy"

Gorizilla stopped as he looked up. His eyes widened as Ghost suddenly appeared from her invisibility and came to play, throwing a fist at him. He didn't anticipate her strength when Ghost's fist crashed down on his head. 

A loud crack echoed around the tower as Gorizilla screamed in pain, releasing Ladybug accidentally and holding his head in pain. 

"Go!" Ghost shouted as Ladybug nodded to her and wrapped a yo-yo around Gorizilla's thumb that was holding Adrien and jumped off the building.

Ghost went back to the gorilla and smirked, holding up her fists. "This might be fun."

Gorizilla glared at her and attempted to grab her but Ghost webbed his hands as well as webbing his feet on the ground. She will trust Ladybug for now. She looked back at Adrien and nodded to him, signaling to him that it will be okay. 

Ladybug came back and ran under Gorizilla, holding onto her yo-yo tightly. "You let go of Adrien right now!" She pulled it as she forced the thumb away from Adrien. 

"Jump, Adrien! Quick! You have to trust me!" Ladybug shouts. 

Adrien glanced back at Ghost who was still busy webbing Gorizilla's eyes. He grinned and turned back to Ladybug. "Always!"

He jumped out of Gorizilla's hand and fell off the tower. Ladybug goes to get him when Gorizilla caught her along with Ghost-Spider. Both girls' eyes widened in horror as Adrien continued to fall. 

"Adrien! No!" Ladybug cried out.

Ladybug squirmed in its hold but Ghost was paralyzed. Her face paled as she visibly shook. Her breathing was coming out irregularly as she saw red. Why would Hawkmoth do this? To his own son?!

Her eyes darkened as she grabbed the nearest finger from Gorizilla and moved in the opposite direction, breaking it. Gorizilla screamed as he didn't anticipate the pain. Ghost was released and used that time to fling a fist back and punch directly at his jaw. 

Ladybug gasped as Gorizilla's eyes fell back to the back of his head as he was unbalanced and fell off the tower. 

Ghost's eyes were still dark as she webbed Ladybug out of his hold. Not giving any word, she carried Ladybug over her shoulder and threw her at a fast pace towards Adrien. Ladybug screamed at the speed and yelped as she caught Adrien. 

Ghost saw this and webbed them together. They weren't that heavy but they yelped at the sudden stop. Ghost sighed as she slowly lowered them down. 

She sighed in relief and fell to her knees. Her hands trembled as she raised them to her face. 

Had it been her to catch Adrien, she wouldn't know her strength. She was furious. No. She was seething. 

Cracking her knuckles, she stood up and dived down to meet Adrien and Ladybug. She was met with Wayhem hugging Adrien in relief. She dropped down to the ground in her signature crouch and rushed towards them. 

She found Ladybug and pulled her in a hug. Ladybug stiffened at the sudden contact but smiled as she patted her back. 

"Shit, I thought I didn't make it," Ghost whispered. She looked back at Adrien and rushed over to check on him. 

"Are you injured?" she calls. 

Adrien glanced at her and smiled, shaking his head. Ghost visibly relaxed as she moved her shoulders. For a moment, she thought she was going to lose him. She shakily sighed, rubbing her head. 

Everyone stopped as they heard beeping coming from Ladybug. "Your ears are flashing. Is there a problem?" Adrien asked. 

Ladybug smiled. "It means it won't be long before I transform back. But don't worry. Chatnoir will be here soon to take care of things with us–"

They all flinched as Gorizilla landed in front of them, causing everyone but Ghost, Ladybug, Adrien, and Wayhem to leave. Gorizilla's nose and lips were smudged in red. 

Wayhem stepped forward, raising his arms to protect Adrien. "You can leave, Ladybug, Ghost-Spider! I'll keep him at bay!"

Ladybug takes the helmet off of Wayhem, placing it on Adrien. "No, I want you to find a safe place to hide."

Ghost stepped forward. "You change back. I have a plan that might work. Meet me at the subway close to here. I'll take Adrien to safety."

Ladybug nodded, trusting her fully. She nodded to Adrien and swung away. Ghost grabbed Adrien and swung to one of the roofs, running away to the meeting spot. 

Gorizilla found Adrien and went to follow them when he felt a weird weight on his leg. Looking down, he saw Wayhem clinging onto his leg. "You shall not pass!"

Gorizilla picked him up and examined him. Wayhem looked at him and pulled out the familiar perfume. "Fragrance! Carefree! Dreamy! Adrien! The fragrance!" he chanted as he sprayed the perfume on Gorizilla's face. 

Gorizilla screamed as he dropped the boy, rubbing his face. Wayhem grinned in victory. "Now you won't be able to sniff out Adrien, will ya, you big hairy ape! Go ahead and try!"

Gorizilla looked around and saw many Adriens around and gritted his teeth as many posters of the boy were everywhere. He roared and ran away to find him. 

Wayhem grinned and grabbed his bicycle, following after Ghost and Adrien.

Landing on one of the rooftops, she glanced back and didn't see any sign of Gorizilla. 

"I think we lost him," Adrien spoke. 

"Yeah," Ghost muttered, helping Adrien down to his feet. "Do you know where the akuma can be?" she frowned, thinking back. 

"I'm not sure," he frowned and thought back as well. He glanced at the girl and placed a gentle hand on the right side of her head. "Are you okay? The rubble fell on you, didn't it?"

Ghost smiled, chuckling. "I'm fine. It didn't hurt much. I bet it's healed. Now, while Ladybug is changing back, I'll wait for Chat to come. In the meantime, Omen, you're going back to my place where it's safe and gorilla free, got it?"

"But–"

"No."

"But–"

"Sht."

"But Gwen–"

"Nope. You're staying back. Got it," she ordered as she dragged him to her apartment. Seeing as no one can see, she put a thumbprint on the lock as it opened. Ghost ushered the boy inside. 

She nodded at her work and turned around to leave. 

Adrien tried to go but Ghost already shut the balcony doors close. He sighed as he looked around, thinking about a way to go back. He looked back to the doors and stopped as he spotted Wayhem riding around to find him. 

"And what rabbit are you planning to pull out of your hat now? You can't be Chatnoir and Adrien at the same time," Plagg peeked out of the helmet.

"What if I can?" He smirked and walked out of her apartment, calling out to the boy.

Gorizilla caught the boy's scream and followed it, finding Adrien kicking the car's tires, causing them to alarm. 

Adrien stopped as he backed away. His helmet was still on as he called Gorizilla. "Over here!"

Gorizilla gritted his teeth and attempted to grab him when a familiar staff stretched out and slapped his hand down. He turned around to see Chatnoir on top of the nearest roofs, smirking down at him. 

"Why don't you pick up on someone your own size?" Chat smirked, placing his staff on his shoulders. 

Gorizilla went to grab him too but Chat dodged him, landing in front of Adrien. "Don't worry, Adrien. I won't let him touch a hair on your head!" Chat smirked. 

Gorizilla stopped but later roared, as he kept trying to grab Chat but Chat was sneaky and kept dodging him, luring him above the subway. "Missed me!" Chat grinned as Gorizilla slapped his hands down where he was. 

"Missed me! Missed again! That's it, big guy. Come on, just a little more." Chat saw the direct spot Ghost pointed earlier, sweatdropping at the graffiti that actually says. 

"Right here ⬇️"

As Gorizilla landed on the spot, Chat noir used his cataclysm and destroyed the ground. Gorizilla screamed as the ground under him disappeared as he fell through. 

Ghost jumped away from the disaster and looked through Gorizilla's pockets, finding the familiar lucky charm. Her eyes softened as she gripped it tightly. Running out of the subway, she spotted Ladybug jumping over. She smirked and threw the bracelet. 

Ladybug caught on with the plan and grabbed it, breaking it in half. She smiled as the akuma flew out. She grinned as she purified the butterfly and brought everything back to normal. Including fixing up the damage they all caused earlier. 

Gorizilla was now on top of the fixed ground as he was exhausted.  

Gorizilla turned back to Adrien's bodyguard. 

Ladybug grins as the three of them punched their fists in victory. "Pound it!"

Ladybug looked around and smiled, waving at Adrien. "Adrien, are you okay?!" she calls. 

Adrien waved back as Chat stood in front of her. "He's totally fine! Right?" he looks back and sees Adrien giving a thumbs up. "See? If I were you, I wouldn't hang around too long. Unless you want to see my true identity," he smirked at her. 

Ladybug nodded and waved at Adrien, swinging away after giving Ghost a pat on the back. Chat smiled and turned to Ghost but stopped as she wasn't there. He turned around and paled when he see Ghost quite literally slapping Adrien upside in the head. 

Chat yelped and ran to grab her. He immediately grabbed her from behind, pulling her away. 

"You idiot! I thought I told you to stay safe!" Ghost squirmed. 

Chat sweatdropped as he ushered Adrien to leave. Seeing as the boy was gone from their sights, Ghost lightly relaxed. 

"Let the boy be," Chat chuckled nervously as Ghost slumped in his arms. 

"Fine. But when we do get our nervous breakdowns, I go first," she huffed, crossing her arms. 

Chat helped her up and patted her shoulders. "That was a great plan, I almost didn't catch it."

Ghost looked back at the ground and sighed in relief to see no graffiti on the ground. She turned around and awkwardly patted his shoulder. 

"Um...I've been meaning to say something," Ghost started, getting his attention. "I...I'm sorry about a few nights ago. I didn't mean to throw everything to your guys' shoulders like that. I know you can rely on me with your problems, you know that. 

"Don't think much of what I said. I have it handled," Ghost nodded and goes to walk away but Chat grabbed her wrist, stopping her from her tracks. 

Chat visibly frowned. "No, I'm sorry for reacting like that. It's not my place to say no when you're asking for help. But..." he gritted his teeth. He didn't know what to say. 

"I can't kill you," he whispered. "The last times I hurt you, it pained me. More than you realize. You're my friend, my comrade. I will find a way to help you. You deserve to find your family again one last time. I promise, Ghosty. So please, don't feel bad to rely on others, trust others to help you."

Ghost was quiet and listened to his words. She nodded as she playfully punched his shoulder. Chat chuckled as Ghost swung away towards her apartment. 

"Just...rely on me Gwendy. Please. I won't let you die," he whispered as he left to meet Wayhem.

Adrien ran away and finally met at the meeting spot. He looked everywhere and knocked on the door. He grinned as the real Adrien peeked out and smiled. 

"That was awesome!" Wayhem grinned, taking off the Adrien mask from his cut-out behind his helmet.  "I helped Chatnoir save Paris from that nasty big ape!"

"I knew I could count on you," Adrien smiled as Wayhem took off the helmet, handing it to him. "I'm sorry I had to ask you to stand in for me earlier. You must think I'm not very brave," he rubbed his arms awkwardly. 

"You kidding?! I got to be in Adrien's shoes for a few minutes! A dream come true!" Wayhem grinned before frowning. "I'm really sorry I posted that photo on the internet. You must be mad at me."

Adrien smiled, taking out a marker and writing down his email on Wayhem's cut-out. Wayhem gasped seeing this and looked up at him. "Is that your email?"

"Yeah. If you can manage to stop running after me screaming, I'm sure we can be good friends," he smiled. 

"I promise, Adrien!" Wayhem smiled widely and stopped, rubbing his head. "By the way, Ghost-Spider didn't seem happy at you, sorry about that."

Adrien sweatdropped and chuckled. "I-It's okay."

Ghost landed in her apartment and punched her fists together. She sighed as she fell back on the couch. She glanced at the time and groaned as she had 15 minutes to get to work. 

She was mentally exhausted. She also groaned as she left everything in the park. Standing up, she goes to change when she received a call. She paled as it came from Marinette. 

She gulped and answered the call. 

"Hello?"

"Gwen! Are you okay?! We saw everything going down!" Marinette and a couple of girls call out. 

Gwen sighed in relief as she pulled out clothes and started changing. 

"Yeah, it was crazy. I hope you're not mad at me earlier. Everyone was spreading lies about Adrien and me. I promise, I don't have that sort of feelings for him," Gwen voiced. 

She saw Marinette smile from facetime. "I know. I trust you."

Gwen sighed in relief as she finished changing. "Good. You have nothing to worry about, then. I'll see you around. I have to get to work and grab my things from the whole crazy day."

Marinette and the other girls laughed and waved bye before hanging up. Gwen walked out of her apartment, making sure to twist the knob to lock as she walked out. 

Arriving at the bakery, she was met with a squealing Sabine and a huge hug from Tom. 

"Oh! Gwen finally has a boyfriend! I'm so proud of you!" Sabine smiled. 

"Huh?" Gwen deadpanned. 

"Remember, Gwen. He's supposed to talk to me first before marriage," Tom nodded. 

Gwen's face flushed. "He's not my boyfriend!"

Adrien smiled as he couldn't believe he watched the movie with his father. He didn't realize how much he wanted to spend time with him. It has been so long. He moved to a side of the bed and sighed contently as the moon shined brightly in his room. 

Well, that was until a shadow loomed over him. He sat up abruptly but relaxed as Ghost sat on his window. 

Ghost removed her mask and grinned at him. 

"You bastard," Gwen chuckled, taking a hand out to him. "We weren't able to finish the movie. We're watching it now, let's go."

Adrien grinned, not caring to see the movie a second time. He grinned widely because he can spend one more time with Gwen for the day. He ran towards her and grabbed her hand as she jumped out of the window. 

Gwen smiled down at him as his eye were still on hers. Her hand tightened on his and couldn't help but flush at the sudden jump from her heart when she was captivated by his green hues. 

"And what do you mean by Gwendy-tingle?"

Adrien laughed as they both ran toward the theatres.
