Rummaging through the newspapers and sticky notes, Gwen hung them up on her map wall. She rubs her nape as she drank her sixth cup of coffee. She sat on the sofa and looked at her progress. So far, she was able to figure out how to make the transporter, but the only thing she needs is the materials which, by the way, do not have in Paris. Gwen groans and scratches her wrist in frustration.

For the past few days, she has been going through the trash bin and found toasters, cables, and other things. She has been awake for 74 hours and she couldn't help but snap when someone asks how she is doing and it causes some to be akumatized. She had to do it on her own as she didn't want Ladybug or Chatnoir to nag her.

"As if they didn't cause anyone to be akumatized," she rolled her eyes and sighed, flopping back to the sofa.

'What am I doing wrong?' she frowns.

She just wants to know if her father is all right. Or how Harry and Mary Jane are doing. For someone being smart, she sure is taking her sweet time. Glancing at the clock, she saw that it was 3:06 in the morning.

Rubbing her eyes, she closed them in hopes to get some sleep. As she did, the front door was suddenly being knocked...loudly.

Gwen narrowed her eyes as the knocking was aggressive. She grabbed her sweater and closed the windows and locked them. She walked out of the room and locked it.

Shrugging her shoulders, she flung the door open and her eyes widened when she saw Chloé on her steps.

"It's about time!" she snapped, walking in.

Gwen blinked. Once. Twice. What the hell is she doing here? At 3 in the morning?

"Uh...Chloé?"

"This place is not even cleaned! How do you live like this?!" Chloé tiptoed away from the cans of soda on the floor.

"Chloé? How do you know where I live? Why did you come here?–"

"Jean! Hurry it up already!" Chloé shouted bringing more rummaging from the staircase.

Gwen's eye twitched when she saw Butler Jean with six suitcases entering the apartment. What the hell's going on?

"Is this a dream? Am I getting a fever?" Gwen placed a hand on her forehead, believing that she is just dreaming of this moment.

"Right there," Chloé nodded as Butler Jean placed her suitcases on the cleanest part of the living room.

"What the hell's going on?!" Gwen snapped bringing their attention. "What are you doing here?!"

"I apologize for Mademoiselle, you see she has been requesting to sleep here for a few days," Jean bowed apologetically.

"That doesn't explain why? Now at all times...with no warnings."

"I'm being followed," Chloé crossed her arms, tensing Gwen.

"By who? And when?" she narrowed her eyes.

"Doesn't matter. I am sleeping here but get cleaning, I'm not sleeping here until it's clean."

Gwen rubbed her face in exhaustion. "Chloé..." she took a deep breath in order to not snap at the girl. "What about Sabrina?"

Chloé humphed, turning away. "Who? I don't know any Sabrina."

Gwen's eye twitched, "So you guys got into a fight, that's just great."

"I know! Now I have to live here because someone is following me and I can't contact Ladybug, Chatnoir, or Ghost-Spider."

Gwen internally groaned. "So I'm your bodyguard now? Since when?"

"Starting now. Get cleaning, this place is a mess," Chloé flopped to the sofa and went through her phone.

"Chloé. Chloé stop," Gwen crouched in front of the girl. "What do you mean someone's following you?"

Chloé shrugged. "They are invisible! They have been getting on my nerves and even stole my shoes!"

"Invisible..." Gwen frowned, really suspecting someone was akumatized. "Have you made anyone mad recently?"

"No! Everyone adores me!"

Gwen sighed, "Let me rephrase the question. Has anyone annoyed you in the past few days?"

Chloé looked into the tired girl's eyes. "Only Sabrina."

"Sabrina, huh?" Gwen stood up, pacing around. If someone's invisible, they must have followed the girl. Glancing at Chloé and Jean, checking they're not looking at her, she pressed a few buttons on her bracer for heat signatures around her area.

There was nothing at the moment.

"Can you tell me what happened between you two?" she asks, turning to Chloé who picked up an empty can of sprite.

"Why should I tell you?" Chloé stubbornly turned away.

"Well. If you're going to stay here and put me in danger too, you might as well have to tell me the full story, don't you think?" Gwen crossed her arms at her.

Jean leaned forward and told the story to Gwen about how Chloé and Sabrina were playing Ladybug and Ghost-Spider but Chloé got herself into a mess with an interview with Jagged Stone by impersonating Ladybug and Sabrina exposing her. They got into a huge fight and now Chloé's here.

Gwen frowned in thought. If there was a chance to stop The Vanisher from getting to Chloé, she would have to contact Ladybug and Chatnoir but then again, they're not usually up at this time and she highly doubts they're going to answer her call.

Gwen walked to the kitchen and grabbed herself another cup of coffee. "Why here anyways?"

"Because you're my only frie–," Chloé stopped, bringing Gwen's attention.

Gwen smirked, teasingly leaning over the counter. "I'm your what?"

Chloé embarrassingly flushed and turned away. "I don't have anyone I cant count on right now. Not even Daddy."

Gwen's eyes softened and nodded. She can't let Chloé on her own right now. She grabbed a bag and started dumping the trash on it. "You can stay, but you will have to stay with me at all times."

Jean nodded and asked. "And how are you going to protect her, if I may ask?"

Gwen grabbed her nearby laptop Chloé was messing with and showed to them the surveillance cameras. "If Sabrina or anyone is invisible, I can also access their heat signatures, giving me the chance to get them on camera. With this, I can protect Chloé from any harm. I'll have the doors locked."

"Good. Now, where am I sleeping?" Chloé spotted the guest room walking to it. Gwen grabbed her wrist, guiding her to her room. Thankfully, the bed is the only mess she has.

"That's the guest room. We don't want you in your state in filth like that. Sleep in my room, I'll sleep here in the living room."

Chloé bought it and walked to Gwen's room and closed the door. Jean handed Gwen a card with his number in case of emergencies.

Gwen sighs and flops to the sofa. "Can't I get to sleep for once?"

"Chloé, get up. I have to go to work," Gwen yawned, knocking on her door.

Chloé slammed the door open, "What took you so long?" She walked out of the room to the kitchen and sat on one of the seats waiting. "Well, what am I going to eat?"

Gwen's eye twitches. "I'm your guard, not your maid. Make yourself some cereal or something."

Gwen's eye bags are very noticeable for the lack of sleep she's gotten. Chloé gasped. "Me?! Making food? You're funny."

Gwen groaned and walked to the kitchen, slamming a bowl and a spoon on the counter. She dropped Frosted Flakes on the counter and shoved them toward her.

Chloé grimaced in disgust and turned away. "I want Lady-Flakes."

Gwen snatched the cereal and flopped the Ladybug cereal. She was going to throw them in the trash anyway. "Eat. I have to work in an hour."

"But I have to get ready. My hair is a mess by the way!"

"It's the weekend!" Gwen snapped and took deep breaths. "Chloé, I haven't gotten much sleep in days, cut me some slack."

"I can tell," Chloé grimaced, eating the cereal. "What am I supposed to wear, then?"

"If you don't want The Vanisher to get you, you have to wear a disguise that no one will know." At least until Ladybug and Chatnoir show up, Gwen thought.

Gwen washed her dishes and grabbed her keys. "Let's go."

"I don't like this disguise. I smell," Chloé pulled her hoodie over her head.

"It's Saturday. Leave it be," Gwen rubbed her eyes, entering the bakery.

"Eww! You work here?"

"Yes. Now sit and be a good girl while I work," Gwen put her hair in a low ponytail.

"How long am I staying here?!"

Gwen smirked. "Eight hours."

Chloé paled and whined.

It wasn't easy on the girls on the weekend, especially for Gwen. She would try to make things comfortable, Chloé doesn't like it. It was finally Monday, and Chloé hasn't gotten much sleep after feeling being watched.

They were with Ms. Mendeleiev for today. Miss Bustier was busy and couldn't make it having Ms. Mendeleiev substitute. Chloé insisted Gwen sit next to her in the class as her guard but the poor girl hasn't slept in 5 days. It was obvious to the class that both girls are exhausted.

Ms. Mendeleiev walked around, seeing if everyone is doing their work on their tablets. Gwen sat up abruptly, sensing someone near.

Chloé's hair was suddenly yanked, bringing everyone's attention.

"What is it, Chloé?" Ms. Mendeleiev asked.

"Someone pulled my hair!"

Ms. Mendeleiev turned to Myléne but the girl shook her head. "I didn't do it, Ms. M."

"It wasn't her! It's-It's some invisible mystical being! Like a leprechaun or a unicorn without the horn," Chloé stood up.

Gwen stood up too, looking around as everyone laughed except Adrien and Marinette.

"Quiet everyone! Eyes on your papers!" Ms. M exclaims.

Gwen snapped her hand and grabbed The Vanisher's wrist. Gwen deathly glared at them, making them flinch back.

"You're dead," Gwen growled. "Chloé! Run away!"

Chloé didn't need to be told twice and ran out of the classroom. "Gwen! Sit down!" Ms. Mendeleiev shouts but Gwen wrestled them to the ground, making everyone confused. Seeing Gwen rolling on the ground. Everyone laughs at the ridiculous moment.

Gwen grabbed them and threw them across the room at the front desk. If everyone thought she was playing around, they were surprisingly mistaken as the papers and the desk flipped over at the weight.

Gwen ran away to Chloé's hotel where she knew Chloé would be there.

"What was that?!" Everyone exclaims. Adrien and Marinette frowned and excused themselves to the restroom.

Gwen caught up with Chloé and ran inside Chloé's room. Gwen immediately locked all doors and windows, barricading everything and heaving like a beast.

Chloé sweatdropped at the girl but also grew weary of everything.

"Okay, so basically from their weight, I'm sure it's Sabrina," Gwen spoke up.

"Please, she isn't that bold enough to do that," Chloé sat down. Gwen stretched her arms, hearing and feeling the delicious crack on her back.

"When someone is akumatized, they grow angrier and stronger. Sabrina is most probably still mad. Even madder now that I am here with you," Gwen looks around at the mess.

The doorknob was juggled, making Gwen stand in front of Chloé protectively. "Who's there?!"

"Ladybug and Chatnoir. Let us in," Ladybug spoke from the other side.

Chloé sighed in relief and goes to open it but Gwen grabbed her wrist and neared the door. She didn't sense any danger and sighed, unlocking the door.

She opened it abruptly, she flinched when she saw Mayor Bourgeois in front of her. She screamed, punching him in the face and slamming the door shut.

Ladybug opened the door, revealing Chatnoir trying to bring the Mayor back from unconciousness. Chloé grinned, tackling Ladybug in a hug, ignoring her father's state. "Ladybug! I knew you'd come to save me! You know, considering what good friends we are!"

Ladybug immediately tried to remove her but Chloé followed her. Chat walked to Gwen who was looking out the window.

"Are you okay?" Chat asked, seeing the temper aura she has.

Gwen nodded, "Yeah. I'm fine."

Chat frowned and leaned to her face, seeing the bags under her eyes. "Are you sure? When was the last time you slept?"

"Doesn't matter. You have to stop The Vanisher," Gwen yawned.

Ladybug turns on Chloé's television, showing four cameras of the hotel. "Have you had any run-ins with anyone lately?"

Before Chloé could speak, Gwen flopped to the sofa. "I have an idea who could it be."

Ladybug's and Chatnoir's eyes widened. "How did you get into this mess?"

"She barged in on my apartment and has been her guard since. I want sleep," Gwen pouted.

"Who is it?" Ladybug asked, turning to Gwen. Before the girl can answer Chloé spoke up. "Nobody! Everyone adores me!"

Ladybug spots a picture frame on the floor and picked up the picture of Chloé and Sabrina. "Really? Not even with your closest friend?"

"Sabrina? Impossible. She adores me, I'm her idol," Chloé smirks.

Gwen shook her head, grabbing Ladybug's and Chatnoir's wrists and dragging them out of the room. She turned to Chloé, "Lock all doors and windows. Don't open to anyone, I'll be right back."

"Where are you going?!"

"I'm just going to talk to them about the situation. Stay here, I'll be right back."

🕸🕷🕸

"This invisible person is obviously Sabrina," Ladybug spoke.

"Who's been akumatized by Hawkmoth," Chat added.

Gwen nodded. "Yeah, it's been a hard few days."

Chat's eyes softened, "You should head home and sleep. I'm sure it was difficult to protect Chloé too."

"You got it all wrong," Gwen shook her head. "If Sabrina really is The Vanisher, she's most probably going to try to get me too as I most likely broke her face or something."

Ladybug and Chatnoir sweatdropped as they remembered when Gwen flung the villain across the classroom.

Ladybug placed a hand on her shoulder, "You've been a great help, thanks."

Gwen nodded and walked back to Chloé who most likely heard their conversation. She knows Ladybug and Chatnoir can handle themselves but she's not done protecting Chloé yet.

When she arrived, she saw Chloé's eyes on the screen. Gwen's eyes widened when she saw Ladybug and Chatnoir already fighting.

"If it really is you, Sabrina. Then I want to be the one to take you down," Chloé glares at the TV.

Gwen stops her. "Chloé, I know you want to help. Let them handle it."

Chloé shook her head and dressed into the Ladybug suit, making Gwen cringe. "Come with me, and protect me if you want but I'm still going."

Gwen groaned and ran after her. When they arrived at the lobby, Ladybug and Chatnoir stood back to back.

"Looking for me, Sabrina? I'm right here, come on!" Chloé smirked.

"Oh no, seriously? You both need to leave!" Ladybug shouts but Chloé ignored her and walked down the steps with Gwen behind her.

"If you stop this ridiculousness right now, I might let you be my BFF again," Chloé looked around.

Gwen's eyes narrowed when a book was suddenly floating and stood in front of Chloé.

"You've got no friends left, Chloé. And you'll never have any, ever again. I'll make sure of that!" Vanisher threw the book at them but Gwen pushed Chloé away as Ladybug and Chatnoir protected them.

Ladybug grabbed Chloé aside as Chat protected Gwen.

"You don't scare me! Everybody loves me!" Chloé shouts.

"This isn't a game, Chloé," Ladybug lectured. She was then tackled by Vanisher, getting Chatnoir's attention.

"It's over, Ladybug!" Vanisher smirked.

"Not yet, Vanisher!" Ladybug kneed her glitter container above them, spreading all the glitter on them, showing Vanisher in front of them.

"Just because you can see me, doesn't mean you'll defeat me Ladybug!"

Chatnoir steps in as Ladybug drags Gwen and Chloé behind the pillar.

Ladybug turns to Chloé, "You stay here! Don't move!" With that, she jumps away. "Hey! This concerns me too, you know!" Chloé shouts.

Gwen grabs her wrist and crouches. "You can help with something. Where do you think the akuma is?"

Chloé frowns and focuses on Vanisher again. "Her pin. I got it for her the other day for that ugly sweater."

Gwen smiles, "Thanks." She stands up to the heroes. "The akuma must be on the pin!"

Ladybug groans and jumps toward the girls as Chat handles Vanisher. Ladybug wraps her yo-yo around Chloé and drags her to the elevator. She also grabs Gwen's wrist and pushes her too.

"I won't tell you again, Chloé, so listen up! You need to leave! You're putting yourselves in great danger and us too! Got it!" Ladybug shouts.

Gwen glares at her as the elevator closes. She grunts as she punches the door.

"Why aren't they listening to me?!" Chloé shouts.

They both ran to Chloé's room and saw Ladybug rips Vanisher's bag but no akuma flew out. She later destroys the pin, which did reveal the akuma.

"I knew it! So, who was right then, huh?" Chloé snapped at the cameras.

Ladybug used her Lucky Charm, bringing everything back to normal.

The Vanisher turned back to Sabrina.

Ladybug raised her fist to Chat but he didn't reciprocate it. "Why didn't you listen to Chloé and Gwen? They were only trying to help."

"First, because Chloé put us in danger. Second, Gwen didn't help at all in the case and only encouraged her. And third, Chloé completely lied to us earlier. I was not going to listen to a liar," Ladybug snaps.

Gwen dryly chuckles. "I'm in the way? That's funny, considering she doesn't do shit at all for the past three days!"

"You're calling me a liar?! How dare you?! I was your hugest fan, but not anymore! You don't deserve my devotion!" Chloé exclaims, throwing the remote at the TV, changing the channel to Ladybug being a great hero.

"I'm through with you, Ladybug!" Chloé threw her mask to the ground and stomped on it.

Gwen breathes out her frustration and walks over to Chloé who couldn't take the frustrations anymore. She didn't have anyone to count on. Ladybug was the only person she truly admires and to have that person say that to their fans just breaks her.

Chloé dropped to her knees and sobbed. Gwen's eyes softened and pulled her into a hug. Chloé tried to move away but the girl didn't move away.

Gwen didn't say a word and only glares at Ladybug through the screen. Gwen had her shares with being Ghost-Spider back in New York. Flash would always admire her but would always bully Peter but she contained her anger and gave him advice to not do it again. It worked for a few days but it continued on.

Gwen's senses spiked. An akuma flew into the room, nearing close to Chloé. Her eyes widened and pulled the girl away. She grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the room, having the akuma following them.

"What's wrong with you?! I don't even want you here either!" Chloé snapped as the elevator door closed.

"Now is not the time, we have to get to Ladybug and Chatnoir!" Gwen tensed as the akuma was getting through the doors.

"I don't want to see them again! Get off of me!" Chloé struggled but Gwen grabbed her arms, making her face her. "Listen to me! You have to think happy thoughts. The akuma is coming for you, you need to calm down!"

"I don't care!"

The akuma flew in, going to reach Chloé but Gwen stood in front of her with all she could. But the akuma had different plans and flew into Chloé's Ladybug earrings.

"No! Chloé, listen to me. Don't give in! It's not worth it. Come on!" Gwen grabbed Chloé's earrings and goes to crush them but Chloé accepted Hawkmoth's word.

Antibug smirked at the girl and grabbed her by the neck. Gwen winced and struggled to get off but Antibug tightened her grip, lifting her from the ground.

"You won't get in my way little girl," Antibug's voice deepened, giving Gwen the chance to hear Hawkmoth's voice through her.

The elevator doors opened to the hallway but Antibug dragged the girl outside. With the lack of sleep, she doesn't have much strength and only squirmed in her hold.

Antibug jumped on top of the entrance when Ladybug was about to leave.

"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have defeated Vanisher. And now, I'm going to defeat you!" Antibug laughs as she held on Gwen's neck.

"Gwen!" Chat shouts in worry as the girl was choking on her hold.

Gwen scratches Antibug's hand but it was to no avail. "Oh sweety, you can't do anything to me!"

"We've got an emergency here. I'm about to change back," Ladybug whispered. Chat pushed her lightly far. "Go ahead, I can take care of her."

"Look at that. She's nothing without Chatnoir and Ghost-Spider," Antibug smirked.

"We'll see each other again soon, trust me!" Ladybug ran away.

Chat gritted his teeth as Gwen fell limp on Antibug's hold. "Too bad, and she solely tried to protect me. What a pity, isn't it Chatnoir?"

Chat yells as they both started fighting to the top of the hotel. Gwen was now being held by her torso as they climbed to the top. Antibug saw how Chat would worriedly glance at the unconscious girl and smirk.

She kicked him away and leaned over the edge. She wrapped her yo-yo around the girl's torso and smirked in Chat's direction.

"What are you going to do now, Chatnoir? Fight me or save the girl? You choose. But don't take too long, my hands would slip."

Chat's eyes widened as Antibug teasingly leaned Gwen to the edge. "Don't!"

"Too bad!"

Antibug pushed the girl off the edge. It was as if everything has gone slow. Gwen dropped off the edge as Chat jumped to catch her. His hand stretched out to grab her hand, but Antibug elbowed him away, taking his five seconds away as Gwen was falling to the ground.

Chat grit his teeth and dived after her, using Antibug as a boost. His hand outstretched to the girl. His heart jumped as he grasped the girl's boot and hugged her to him.

As he landed on the ground, he checked for any injuries but sighed in relief to see the way her chest kept elevating for air. He sweatdropped as he heard the light snores she was giving off.

"Are you seriously sleeping right now?!"

"Shut up," she snored, snuggling to his chest.

He sweatdropped again and lay her on the ground. His head snapped up and attacked Antibug once again. Ladybug entered the fight once Tikki had her fill.

Ladybug summoned her Lucky charm, bringing marbles while Antibug summoned Anti charm, bringing a large sword. Hawkmoth was seriously considering murdering the heroes.

Ladybug looked around and threw the marbles at Chatnoir. He swung his staff at it, spreading the marbles on the ground, making Antibug slip. He caught her sword and threw it away.

"See? You're nothing without Chatnoir and Ghost-Spider!" Antibug smirked.

"We're a team," Ladybug's eyes hardened at her. She wasn't sure where Ghost-Spider went but she knew that she can handle this with Chatnoir. Ladybug's and Antibug's earrings beeped, giving a timer. Chatnoir didn't waste time and used his cataclysm.

He touched the pool cover they were standing on and Antibug falls in, trapped. Ladybug ran towards the girl and snatched her earrings, stepping on them.

The akuma flew out but Ladybug captured it and purified it, cleansing the area.

Antibug turned back to Chloé.

Chat didn't glance at Ladybug as he dived down to Gwen who was still on the ground. He sighed in relief that the girl was still alive. His heart seriously dropped when he saw her in danger. She doesn't have anyone to support her and he swore that he will always be there. Even not as Adrien.

"Rest, Gwen. You deserve it."

So I decided to update this story on this unfortunate day of my birthday. I hope all of you are safe with everything going on with the Supreme Court. I'm so pissed, but I can't leave you guys hanging.
