Logan- Foreseeable Future. (EDITED-Part 1)

(Warnings: EDITED ONESHOT- Pettiness, language, a bit of rude Logan. But don't worry he gets better. The reader is a side, this is an idea I had out of no where. But after editing, I think it turned out pretty okay.

(Alright. Welp. After Literally two years, I finally got around to editing my oneshots. I started with these because they were honestly my favorites, for a fourteen year old, I thought I did pretty well at the time. Now I'm 16 going on 17, so I figured what the hell? Still shit writing but there's at least some improvement. With more shit and a lot more sarcasm. I hope you like this. I got out of the Sanders sides fandom, but I've been meaning to rewatch and get back into it. Maybe this book can help me. I was thinking about possibly reopening my requests and continuing this book after all. Please let me know what you guys think. I'm always hoping to talk to some of you guys, considering you were all so supportive, so don't hesitate to comment. With love and care- Jayme <3333

(Please pretend that passion isn't really Roman's department, and hes just his creativity, for my sake , my brain hurts-)

(Y/n's) POV:

Greeeaaaat.

Again with this annoying calculator of a man lecturing me about what is good for Thomas. As of I wouldn't know already. Afterall, I am apart of him too!

If you haven't guessed already The 'calculater' I mentioned before, is Logan. Thomas's Logic. And the world's #1 uptight asshole. Seriously, sometimes I wonder if he actually does have a stick up his ass. He stands as straight as one. Would make sense.

Who am I? Well, I'm Thomas's Passion. I'm pretty much Roman and Remus's sibling(?), In a way. Since we were all created at the same time. Woo hoo triplets, yeah yeah.

"Thomas can not go to that play in July! He has too much work to do!" The stick-up-the-ass (Logan) shouted at me. Seriously, where did he get the balls?

"Exactly! Thomas has too much work to do, you're overworking him Logan! He needs a break!" I snapped back at him, I don't know what it was, but something about this man just made my blood boil. He didn't even care to listen to me. I had a point!

"If we keep pushing the work off to the side that will just be more for him to do later!" Logan retorted, waving his hands about as if that would emphasize his point. To be honest.. he did kind of have one. Procrastination isn't really the way to go.. But still! In the moment I didn't think of that. I was pissed. Clearly.

Thomas and the others were watching our debate from the sidelines, I'm pretty sure I could see Virgil recording the argument from my peripheral vision.

"Kiddos-" Patton tried to interrupt in a gentle tone, obviously trying to defuse the situation. But Logan and I were going back and forth like a damn tennis ball.

Note to self: Don't play tennis. It'll remind you of this and piss you off.

"But he's tired, Logan! If he goes to this play he will have the chance to relax a bit and keep his mental and physical health stabilized! You are giving him too much work! Just look at him!" I exclaimed, pointing to Thomas, who was sitting on the couch, leaning his head on his hand and staring up at us.

He had dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep and his hair was such a mess it looked like a rats nest. He was also still in his pajamas. He didn't even change before falling asleep last night. Or the night before that, much to Roman's disgust.

"Wha- Uh- Listen keep me out of this-" Thomas said, lifting his head a little and raising his hands in mock-surrender.

"But you are the reason we are fighting." I sighed, crossing my arms and looking at Logan with a glare.

If looks could kill. Well let's just say the human calculator would be smashed into ting smithereens with a hammer.

"Listen, if you two didn't hate each other, then you two would make a great power couple." Roman said out of no where, sitting in front of the TV like a kid watching their favorite cartoon.

"Roman, What The Actual Fu-"

"FUDGE CRACKERS!!!" Patton interrupted me with a shout. Which kind of reminded me of those dolphin censors on SpongeBob.

"I'm just saying! Imagine, Passion and Logic. If you two actually compromised Thomas would be passionate about nerdy things. And probably get things done with more- y'know. UMph!" Roman said, cleaning his sword he grabbed out of nowhere, as if he did not just suggest the most vile thing I've ever heard him say.

Hell. I would have preferred listening to Remus' innuendos for an hour.

"Enthusiasm." Logan mumbled, correcting Roman on his grammar. His eyes narrowed and his brows seemed to furrow in though. It looked as if he were seriously thinking about it. As if Roman had a point.

His mouth opened as if he were going to say something, but nothing coming out.

"Y'know, I could actually see that.." Virgil piped up, lying across the stairs in an awkward position. Damn. We really bored everyone with our arguments huh? Oh well, not my fault Logan's insufferable.

"Wha-"

"It would be cute!" Patton says, with stars in his eyes. I could already tell was he was imagining, one of those Disney romances where everything is perfect and we all agree on everything. Ha! Not gonna happen.

"I highly doubt that. Anyhow, I do not see that happening in the foreseeable future." Logan responded, glaring at me and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Neither do I." I huffed and rolled my eyes, avoiding Logan's piercing gaze. Don't look at me like that. Hope that tie chokes you.

"I would not function properly with a partner that is easily distracted with unimportant things, such as drama and the theatre. The theatre doesn't get work done." Logan remarked, finally tearing his eyes off of me. About time.

"Ugh! You did not just- I- Oh- You big- I hate you so much!" I scoffed in disbelief, balling my hands up into fists. They were shaking, my hands were shaking, I wanted to punch him so bad. I could if I wanted-

"Alright now, Kiddos-"

"I believe the correct emotion you are feeling is of loathing. To which, I reciprocate." Logan says, holding his head high as he adjusted his glasses. How much I wanted to just rip them off.

"Kiddos!"

"Recipr- Reciproca- You could have just said a simple 'The feeling is mutual!'" I shouted with my face contorted into a snarl. I could feel my hands clenching, I knew my knuckles had turned a a lighter color and I didn't even have to look.

"That is the difference between you and I, you waste your time on drama and useless slang, while I focus on knowledge and the correct pronunciations." Logan said it so calmly, meanwhile I was seething. How could he be so calm?? I'm petty sure he thought he had won this argument.

"Are you calling me dumb?!" I practically screeched, okay. Over exaggeration, but it hurt. Just a little. Maybe a lot. Afterall, I just got my whole job downed on by Logic.

"Kiddos!" He was getting louder.

"Well, I'm not directly.. But, I never called you smart." Logan replied, acid lacing his voice, though it wasn't a surprise, he scowled at me. And it still somehow managed to hurt.

"Enough!"

"Why you-" Oh he'd done it now.

"I said enough!!" Patton shouted, which surprised the both of us into a now foreign silence.

We both stayed quiet, Not wanting to frustrate Patton any further. We may not get along, but there was a silent agreement between us that we shouldn't push Patton. Least there was one thing we agreed on.

"Why can't you two just get along..?" Patton asked with a tired sigh, I had never seen him so tired. Not physically but.. emotionally. I suppose this drained him. Drained us all.

I let out an exhale in exasperation. I never did like getting into arguments, even if Logan and I did fight often. I am unlucky I suppose. I was just so mad and let my feelings as well as worry get the best of me.

"I think both of you should go to your rooms for now.." Patton says, "You both are in no position to think right now. Just... Get some rest kiddos. Maybe come back and we'll have a discussion.. about this later.." He finished, emphasizing on the 'discussion'.

Obviously, we all know what that meant. No more fighting.

"You're right. Bye guys." I said, sinking out slowly, before I left I could see Roman's eyes turn into stars, and he gasped, as if he had a good idea. But I didn't stay long enough to hear what it was.

Neither did Logan. He and I were both sinking out at the same time, though I tried not to look his way.

I got into my room with tired limbs, finally my hands were unclenching from their fists, resting at my sides. I took a small look around as I headed towards my bed. The walls were all a deep shade of crimson and there were pictures of drawings taped to them, play idea's and songs in my free time were pinned to the walls. I was proud of my work.. how dare he belittle it.

I plopped onto my bed, sighing as I looked at one of the many introductions to a book that I planned to make pinned above my bed. Maybe he had a point. Maybe all of this effort was worthless. Would this even help Thomas in the long-run?

I growled as I reached up and ripped one of the papers off of the wall, crumbling it up beneath my hands and throwing it towards the trash in the corner.

I was tired. Tired of all the fighting and just exhausted in general. Maybe Patton was right. Maybe I need rest just as much as Thomas.

I didn't waste time in closing my eyes and falling asleep. I drifted into the darkness of slumber slowly, before being awoken in a very confusing way.

• • • • •

"Hello, Wake up now." I heard someone say in a soft tone of voice, though I didn't care. I just wanted to sleep.

I groaned, shrugging off the hand that was on my shoulder before turning on my side, taking the blanket that was draped over me along for the ride.

"You need to wake up." They persisted.

"No." I grumbled, my voice was groggy from just waking up. But did I care? Hell no.

"Alright, but when Thomas summons you for the play audition today, it will not be my fault when you did not show up.'

My eyes shot open and I sat up quickly. A play audition? I don't remember anyone telling me about a play audition. Nor did I remember ever suggesting one.

"Play audition?!" I looked around the room frantically to see that I was no longer in my bedroom, now I was in the living room. When did I get down here?

I looked for the person that awoke me, only to see the world's biggest asshole (Logan) right in front of me. And I nearly started cussing him out for waking me up.

"Of Course, Dear, What else?" He said, pushing his glasses up farther on his nose, which had a pattern of realistic stars on the frame of them.

But the strangest thing, was how he was looking at me with a small smile. It was creepy.

...Who is this, and what has he done with Logan.

And did he call me 'Dear'?! I don't know whether I should barf or fear for my life.

Oh god. Logic's gone haywire-

"..First off, Why are you being so nice to me?" I asked, sitting up on the couch and looking at Logan in confusion. I backed away from him, scooting as far back at the couch would let me. I didn't want to be in his line of fire when the cray-cray finally blew-

"..Am I not always nice to you?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows in worry.

Which made me start to worry...

"Uhm- No, Not particularly. You're usually an major asshole." I responded, Looking around the room which only furthered my bewilderment.

The house looked different. There were different decorations, a few new potted plants, pictures and such.. Did they change everything while I was gone? The walls were even a different color, and the TV was of a new brand, the couch was also different. Lot more plush too.

Logan made a face of pure confusion, his head even tilted to the side a bit as if that would help him come up with anything to explain my behavior. Even if I wasn't the one acting weird. What is it? Opposite day?

"Are you sure you're alright, Dear? I don't think I've been an.. 'asshole' to you for a while.." Logan responded, crouching down to be eye level with me, looking into my eyes for some kind of answer. "Have I done something that upset you, My dear?"

"Why do you keep calling me that?" I asked, my head was starting to hurt from how hard I was trying to understand this. But alas, nothing came to me. And that just left me even more frustrated with myself.

What in the hell is going on?!

"Calling you what?"

"'Dear', And why are you being so nice to me?! What? Is it my last day or something??" I inquired, backing away a little. "You finally snap??"

He looked more confused than I was for a moment, which was even more concerning considering he was logic. Then it seemed like something clicked inside of his head, like someone had been shuffling around for a while and finally found the light switch.

"Ahh.. I see, now."

"See? See what?" I questioned. I hoped he would tell me, that I could finally put some sense to this situation. Because I, unlike him apparently, was clueless.

"I will tell you, but first, What day is it?" He asked me, standing up and glancing to the side. I followed his gaze to see him looking at a calendar on the wall, though the sleep in my eye restrained me from seeing what the date was.

"Tuesday?"

"And, when was that.. oh! yes- play you wanted Thomas to go to?" Logan asked me, Sitting down on the opposite side of the couch after he had inspected the calendar.

"In July."

"Ah- seems I was correct." He stated, with a small sigh. Though, this one was different. He wasn't angry or anything like that, more so, he just seemed like he didn't know where to start.. with what? Well I don't know yet. But I was determined to find out.

"What in the hell is going on?! Why aren't you yelling or calling me names? Or- Or saying that this apparent plAy audition is useless??" I exclaimed, throwing the blankets off of me. I was starting to get defensive already.. and.. strange as it is, he hadn't even said anything yet.

"I believe it would be better to tell you after you have fully woken up.. or perhaps after something warm to drink?." Logan responded, getting up and starting to walk to the kitchen, as if he were trying to get away from something. Whatever it was, he was dreading having to tell me.

"No- No, no, no! I want to know now!" I shouted, standing up along with him, about to follow.

Logan sighed and stopped abruptly, turning to face me, though he looked to the ground.

"Alright. But, you're going to have to 'bear' with me." He said, much to my shock. Even doing air quotes and everything.

"Did you just-"

"Yes, I used 'slang'."

"What in the actual fu-"

"Do not finish that sentence." Logan sighed, turning back and entering the kitchen, to which I followed to see him sitting down at the table. "Come sit." He gestured to the seat infront of him. What is this? A job interview??

I sat down at the table, wondering what he was about to tell me. Whatever it was, it seemed to be serious. And I was starting to wonder where the others were.

"I am sure you know this already, but we all can summon things we desire, correct?" Logan began, pausing to make sure I was following along.

"Yeah..?"

"Well, soon in your future, we discover that summoning things is not all we can do-" Logan continued on, though I had to interrupt him there.

"Wait- In My Future? Are you saying-"

"Indeed. You, (Y/n), are currently in the future."

(Past Logan's) POV:

At the current time, I say quietly at my desk table, Going over some paperwork as I should. There was too much to do and too little time to do it; I understand that Patton told us to rest, but I will not sleep until my scheduled time. That would only ruin my plans.

Although, a knock at my bedroom door interfered with my hard work. I let out a frustrated sigh, afterall, I was in the middle of important business. Sadly, I got up from my seat and walked over to the door.

I grabbed the handle and turned it, though the sight I was met with, was one that I had not been expecting. I had thought perhaps it was Patton or anyone else. But to my surprise, there at my door was (Y/n), seemingly half asleep.

"Darling, Did you put me into bed?" They asked me, stepping inside and wrapping me into a tight embrace that others might call a 'hug'.

E r r o r -

"Just what do you think you are doing?" I asked, anger lacing my voice. I usually didn't like showing human emotion, that much was obvious. But there was just something about (Y/n) that made me so angry, I assume it is because of how reckless and carefree they are with their time. As well as Thomas'.

"It's called hugging you." They responded as they snorted a small laugh, they turned their head to look at me with a smile. "I thought you of all people would know what that meant."

I ignored their childish jab and instead, focused my attention on the question they had asked a few momenr prior. "I assure you I did not put you into bed." I replied to the inquiry, gripping onto their shoulders and pushing them off of me.

"Then how did I get into bed?" They asked, looking a bit disappointed that I had pried them off.

"You walked over to it, and laid down is what I assume." I stated, crossing my arms in an attempt to shield myself Incase they decided to try hugging me again.

"No, I was on the couch in the living room, nearly nodding off on accident and you suggested that I get some sleep. So, I laid down there and dozed off. Only to wake up on my bed." They replied, giving me a 'run down' of what supposedly happened. Though, I never told them to do anything of the sort.

"I did not suggest anything to you." I argued, giving a small shake of my head.

"You did, You said that I should get some sleep, because of Thomas's play audition today."

I froze. "Wait- Play audition? I wasn't aware of that happening." Did they plan this without me? Did Thomas know of this? Certainly he would have told me; asked for my opinion at least.

Their facial expression turned to one of confusion, they're gaze attaching to my tie. They were staring at it so intensely, as if it were foreign to them. Which, of course, couldn't be possible. I always wear my tie.

"Darling, Why did you put your old tie on?" They asked, lifting it up, grazing their fingertips over the soft cloth of it. I felt my face heat with what I can only assume is embarrassment, it was strange for someone else to touch my tie. And I knew for certain that I didn't like it.

"Ex-Excuse me? I'm wearing the same tie I always wear- Did you just- don't call me that- I am not your 'Darling'?" I statement, although it sounded more like a question than anything. I did not mean for it to come out that way.

"Yes, I always call you that. And no, you have a different tie, that is your old one. See, I'm wearing my newer clothes, Why aren't you?" They asked, pulling back and looking over me with interest.

Now that they mention it, They were wearing something different. I hadn't noticed that before, much to my embarrassment. I was distracted, so technically, that was not all my fault.

"Wha-"

Their perplexed face soon shifting into one of understanding.

"Ohhhhh." They gaped at me, looking up at me and smiling big. "It's Tuesday, Correct?"

"Why-"

"Just answer the question." They demanded.

"Yes..?"

They clapped their hands together in an excited manner, the sudden loud sound causing me to flinch out of instinct.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! Today is the day, well in exactly three and a half years today will be the day for you. I know how much you love the literal." They responded, pushing me to the side and walking fully into my room. A complete invasion of privacy.

"I-Uh-Wha-Huh?" I have never in my life, felt so befuddled.

"Oh my goodness! Your old Rubik's cube!" They exclaimed, picking it up and inspecting it, as if they hadn't seen it in a long time.

"I-"

"Shush, I'm not going to break anything!" (Y/n) said happily, their smile never faltering.

I was taken aback. Did they just-

"Awww, your old bedsheets!" They laughed, feeling of the soft material and pushing down on my mattress. I had never thought they would be so entitled.

"Excuse me! Can you please explain what is going on?!" I exclaimed, letting my emotions get the better of me as I walked over in an attempt to stop them from touching anything else.

They let out a mischievous laugh.

"Oh Logan, you're a smart guy, I'm sure you can figure it out." They smiled, patting my cheek nonchalantly. And with that they left my room.

I followed after them quickly, not that I wished to. It was only that I needed to know what was going on.

Sure, I was smart, but nothing could explain this.

"Oh my goodness! The old wallpaper!" They shouted, looking around like a hungry child in a candy store.

"What do you mean 'old'??"

"Hm." They stopped their browsing to spare me a glance. "Maybe you did get smarter, or well in your case 'Do'."

They then continued to look at all the furniture and the walls with amazement.

The others soon came up and noticed (Y/n's) strange behavior. Perhaps they decided to change roles, though I didn't expect them to choose to be Thomas' Insanity now I was wishing for the old Passion back.

"Uh- Are they okay?" Virgil asked quietly, as if afraid that they would overhear him. I didn't blame him much. I too, was starting to fear the worst of them.

"Yeah.. They seem kind of... Loopy.." Patton added, gasping at a thought he had. "Did they get into the cookie jar??"

(Y/n) then turned and saw the others. Their face lighting up into a grin, they seemed so surprised at the look of everyone.. 'Kudos' to the enthusiasm, but I am starting to think this was all a bit much..

"Patton! Virgil! Thomas! ... You-" (Y/n) said their names one by one, though, with Roman, they turned more serious. And I was certainly glad that their gaze had not fallen upon me with that tone. They walked up face to face with Roman in long strides, and I almost started to think they were going to hit him.

Roman cowered down a little, scared of what they were gonna do. And again, like I said with Virgil. I did not blame him.

"Thank you so much for doing what you did with your newfound powers!!" They exclaimed with a squeal as they hugged onto Roman, squeezing him so tightly, I feared he would (Metaphorically) pop. "This is amazing!!"

"Wha-" Roman looked down at (Y/n's) Different clothing. And then, he seemed to understand. I was then starting to feel as if we had all done some kind of role swap. Was I not Logic anymore? Why did I not understand.

Yet Roman of all people, did.

"Wait-YoU CanT MEan-"

(Y/n) nodded with a wide smile, answering before he even finished his question.

"You mean I sent you into the future with the imagination?!" Roman exclaimed, pulling back from the embrace they had on him just to jump up and down like a child.

"Yep! You also unleashed a terrible evil." They deadpanned. "And gave us the chance to get new powers of our own."

"Wha- Are you serious?" He cringed, he glanced around as if he expected to see some 'evil creature' of some kind come forth from the shadows.

"No." They laughed, shaking their head. Much to our relief, if you ask me. "But I am serious about the power thingy." Hm.. At least their grammar has not changed.

"Wait, wait, wait, Hold on a second-are you saying that you-" Thomas pointed to (Y/n). "-Are from the future?!"

"Mhmm!"

You. Have. Got. To. Be. 'Kidding'. Me.

"Omigosh! Tell me all about it!" Patton says, he too, starting to bounce on his heels.

"Okay okay, but one thing, What is the progress of becoming an adult?" They asked, cocking their head to the side as they waited for an answer. I didn't see a point to the useless question, but apparently, they did.

"Adultery."

"I miss hearing you say that." They said with a sad sigh. Which caused us all to have a surge of worry.

"What does that mean? Do I die?!" Patton exclaims, both hands coming up to hold his face in a dramatic flair of shock. Childish, really. As to expect from Patton.

"No, you just figure out what adultery really means."

"...What does it mean?" Oh dear.

"...Next question!"

"Wait, if you're here then where is our (Y/n)?" Thomas asks. A very good question at that, if he had not asked first, I would have.

"Oh, they are or well I am probably with Future Logan." They responded, though they seemed a little too happy to say that. Good luck to future me, I have to say. They are a handful to deal with in this time frame.

"Oh great, that's has to be a lot of arguing." Virgil quietly chuckled, though I did not find anything funny about what he said. It was the truth afterall. "Least it's not present us who has to listen to it."

"Oh no, Logan would never." They smiled, waving that assumption off. "Well, not anymore."

"Excuse me. What does that mean?" I asked, finally speaking up amidst the chaos. To be honest, this was the only time I could get a word in.

"What I mean, Is My Logie, Wouldn't intentionally start a fight anymore. We compromise now." They said, giving me a one over. "Perhaps that's something you should learn about." They mumbled under their breath, though I was still able to hear them. Seemed to be just a petty act in my opinion.

"Waaaiiit- 'Logie'?" Virgil piped up, glancing at Roman, who shared his knowing look.

"Oh yeah. A lot of things change in the future, as well as our hate towards each other." (Y/n) smiled at me, a sly smile. A confident, cocky smile, as if they had been waiting for this.

"Are you implying what I think you are?" Thomas asks, raising an eyebrow in question.

They laughed with a nod in response. "Yes. Logan and I, Infact, have a romantic relationship in the future.. Things certainly do change, don't they, Logan?"
