Janus- Moving.

(Warnings: Remus being Remus, Slight blood, not that much, like one curse word, Terrible writing, rushed writing, slightly fluffy I guess? A slight and I mean slight bit of angst. Enjoy-)

(Y/n's) POV:

I put my plates in the box I had, gently.

I was surrounded by empty boxes as well as boxes that were already packed and taped up.

My living room was almost completely empty, the only thing filling up the room was boxes and inanimate objects that weren't stuffed into a box yet.

You must be wondering why I'm packing things up.

You see, I had this amazing job offer on the other side of the country, and I couldn't pass it up, so, I was moving.

Of course I would be leaving a lot of things behind, as well as people I cared for. But I'm still going to keep in touch with them.

I was dragged out of my thoughts when my doorbell rung, signaling my friends were here to help me pack.

I walked over to my front door, setting down the package tape I as holding while I did so.

I opened the door to be greeted by seven familiar faces of my friends.

Thomas, Patton, Logan, Roman, Virgil, Remus and finally Janus.

"Heyo!" Patton exclaimed happily, Coming in and hugging me tightly. Which didn't get off without a glare from Janus.

"Hey Patton!" I replied, Smiling as I moved aside so they could all come in.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" Thomas greeted, waving, before walking into my house as I moved out of the way.

"Hey, Thomas."

"Whoa- you've already done a lot so far." Virgil stated, walking inside the house, followed by Remus who ran, Jumped into the air and face planted onto my couch.

"Yeah, I've got almost everything packed except for a few things." I responded, turning to Virgil as everyone else came inside. Although I flinched when I felt a pair of arms snake their way around my waist.

I looked up to see Janus behind me, resting his chin on my shoulder, looking at the boxes intently.

I eased up, once I realized who it was. Janus and me were together, so I didn't really think much about it as I resumed talking to the others.

"So what do you want us to get started on?" Roman asked, picking up the package tape that I had set down a little while ago. He grinned, waving it around slightly as if it was a weapon.

"Well, Pro taper you can get started on packing some of those boxes." I told him, smiling at the childish grin he had as he walked over to the boxes.

Remus looked up at me, lifting his face that was once buried into the couch due to his face planting into it.

"So what's this job you got? Are you now something like a professional strippe-"

"Remus, do not finish that sentence." Logan stated, sighing slightly, as he helped Roman pack up some of my things.

"Ugh- Finnne-" Remus groaned, rolling off of my couch and onto the floor, his face once again planting onto the surface. Although this time it wasn't as soft as the couch.

"Do you have your necessities." Janus asked me, glancing at me, not moving his chin from my shoulder.

"Yes I do." I answered him, glancing sideways at him, smiling.

Remus lifted his face from the floor a smile on his face. "My nose is bleeding!" He said, crossing his eyes to try and look down at his nose, which had blood trickling down to his chin.

"Oh jeez-!" Patton gasped, walking over to Remus, to help him with his wounded nose.

"It isn't broken." Logan stated, as Remus stood up, walking to the kitchen to clean the blood off of himself.

"Welp- now that that's dealt with, I've got to get back to packing." I said, walking over to some boxes.

                      • • • • •

Here we are, at my new house. After hours of riding in a car, We were finally here.

I got out of the car, which contained Janus, Virgil and Patton. Logan, Roman, Thomas And Remus were in another car, that of which was dragging along a moving trailer, that carried my couch.  which was parked right behind mine.

They came to help me get all of my boxes out of my car and into my house.

Which would help alot, due to me having a lot of stuff.

I looked up at the house. It was bigger than I expected, a whole family could live here. I really didn't pay attention before I bought it, did I?

I sighed as the others got out of the cars, following my gaze up to the house.

"Well, Let's get this stuff unpacked!" Patton said, excitedly. I really do often wonder where all of his energy came from.

"Ground! Thank goodness-" Roman exclaimed, planting his feet onto the sidewalk next to my new house.

"I can't feel my legs-" Remus pipped in, sitting on the sidewalk, next to Roman who was prancing around like he had been on the moon and was finally back on earth.

"You are experiencing paresthesia. It occurs when sustained pressure causes one or more of the nerves in a body part to become compressed. This temporarily interferes with your nerve’s ability to communicate with your brain." Logan said, adjusting his tie.

"Your legs probably fell asleep, due to the long car ride." Virgil responded, looking down at Remus.

"That is what I just said." Logan stated.

"Sorry, but no one speaks Logan-" Virgil retorted sarcastically.

Janus opened the trunk of one of the cars, picking up a box and walking over next to me.

"So. This is where you're living, huh?" He asked, looking at me, while I fidgeted with my house key.

"Yeah. I guess so." I replied, smiling up at him, before walking to the front door and unlocking it.

I opened the door to see the house completely empty. I was going to have to buy a lot of appliances. But thank goodness I brought the couch.

I sighed, walking into the house, followed by Janus. Who set down the box on a counter, than came up to me, smiling a little.

"You excited?" He asked.

"A little." I responded to him, Gazing at the empty living room Infront of me.

"Nervous?" He inquired, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

"Very." I answered, smiling a bit, before I heard grunting outside.

Janus and I both turned around, walking outside to see Roman and Virgil trying to push the couch up to the front door.

"Eh- Agh- What have you got in this couch, (Y/n)? A Bomb?!" Virgil sarcastically asked, groaning as he tried to push the couch up to the house.

"That would entirely depend on the size of the bomb, You see-" Logan started to explain before being cut off by Roman.

"Please shut up and help us push-"

I walked over to them and began helping them, We were able to get it to the door, but had trouble with getting it through the door.

"Push it in!" I yelled as we tried to push the couch through the door.

"That's what she sai-"

"Now's not the time, Remus-"

After a while, we finally got the couch in and all of the boxes.

Now it was time to do the hardest part of all.

Say goodbye to everyone.

First was Patton, I gave him a hug and told him I'd call every other day.

Then Roman, I told him I'd send post cards of the new sites I was going to visit here and gave him a pat on the shoulder.

Then Virgil, I told him I'd send him some stuff from the bug hot topic I saw as we were driving here.

Remus next, he asked me to send him any rat I found in the new house. Even though it was a long shot I agreed and said goodbye.

Logan was fifth, I said I would send him a brochure of a museum I saw here if I ever went to it.

Then it was Thomas I had to say goodbye to, I promised I would text him often, and tell him about the new job I got.

And lastly, and most painfully, Janus.

I hugged him tightly, Promising him that I would call and face time a lot.

He hugged me back, taking a shaky breath, before kissing me quickly.

"I know you will." He responded, smiling sadly.

A pang of guilt twisted my heart, I couldn't believe I was doing this. Actually leaving everyone? Including the live of my life? I was. I was actually doing this. And there was no turning back now.

Janus kissed me once more, before following the others out the door.

I stood at the door, watching everyone get into the car, somehow being able to fit all seven people in one car.

They all waved at me, before driving off.

Leaving me, alone, and in an empty house. With guilt twisting my heart, as well as sorrow.

(3rd POV:)

Janus looked out of the car window, watching all of the lights speeding by. The feeling of dread and pain coursing through his chest.

He didn't want (Y/n) to leave. He loved them too much for them to leave. But they wanted this job, and he saw how their eyes lite up when they got the offer. He didn't want to take that away.

He wanted them to be happy, so he let them leave. But it didn't seem like they wanted to leave themself.

That got Janus's head being filled with thoughts.

If he didn't want them to leave, and they didn't want to leave, then why doesn't he just... Stay?

"I- Wait! Stop the car!!" Janus shouted, holding onto the passenger seat, pulling himself up.

Thomas immediately pumped the breaks, his eyes widening in shock and surprise.

The cars behind them, stopping quickly, honking their horn as they did so.

"What?! Why?" Thomas asked, frantically looking back at Janus.

"I- I'm sorry- I have to go back-!" Janus exclaimed, jumping out of the car, holding onto his phone, before stepping on the side walk next to the car.

"What is he doing??" Virgil asked, looking out the car window at Janus.

Janus started running, Not looking back as he headed straight to (Y/n's) house.

"Damn- He hasn't ran this fast since He heard it was Taco Tuesday-" Remus stated, watching Janus run.

They drove for a while, so it wasn't too far away.

"Isn't it obvious?" Logan asked from the passenger seat in the car.

"No-"

Janus glanced at his phone, while still running. He quickly pulled up (Y/n's) number, quickly calling them as he sprinted to their house.

"He's going back to (Y/n). I suspected this would happen, but I will admit, I was not expecting it to be this soon." Logan stated. "Keep going, Thomas. He isn't going to change his mind."

Janus huffed, as he ran, before he heard (Y/n's) voice on the other end of the phone.

"Hello?"

"(Y/n)- I-" Janus breathed out, quickly taking in another breath as he saw (Y/n's) house in the distance.

"Janus?? Are you okay? You're breathing hard-" (Y/n) asked, Concerned.

"Yeah-Yeah I'm fine- It's just-" Janus slowed down, catching his breath as he came up to the house, he had Just left a little while ago.

"It's just what?" They asked, Worriedly.

"Just- can you come out here and kiss me, I ran all this way-" He huffed out, Holding onto his knees as he stood at the front door.

"You-" (Y/n) paused mid sentence, before dropping the phone a d quickly running to the front door, flinging it open to see Janus standing there.

They quickly jumped into his arms, kissing him, Causing Janus to drop his phone as well. The sound of the glass cracking wasn't noticed as they only focused on each other.

"How come you came back?" (Y/n) asked, Pulling away from the kiss as they smiled happily.

"I couldn't let you leave." Janus said, Laughing a bit.

"Then I never will again."
