The Storm Kingdom had once been two smaller kingdoms, both with a mutual hatred towards the Rain Kingdom.

King Raine and Queen Olympia's parents had arranged a marriage between the two royals when they were young children, in order to join the two kingdoms for the safety of the people.

(To anyone taking this out of context, Raine and Olympia are from 2 different families and are two different species.)
