𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑛,𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑠 𝐽𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑛!

𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑖!～

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, you followed your crow—named Ginko who followed another demon. You were able to save the human family from the demon but then it almost escaped through the shadows.

   It started moving by the shades of buildings and more in speed, you ran over rooftops of buildings trying to catch up, your eyes narrow seeing it zip zap in shade to shadow.

   You breathing in deeply through your lungs, using a breathing technique to run faster, your run fastens as you jump over a gap between two buildings.

"CAW DEMON TURN LEFT!! LEFT!"

   Ginko shouts and turns, you nod and jump over a gap again, seeing the shadow demon fade into a dark alley, making you believe you have the higher advantage.

   You jump down, looking at the shadow demon but where to look? This dark alley didn't make it easy, you walk cautiously as your hand holds your sword handle, you bring it out and grip tightly.

   You used your hearing to try and listen out for it.... Nothing. Until....

   You grunt feeling push behind you, then something caused you to trip. You get up and quickly and dodge arms trying to grasp you where you fell at.

   In speed you struck your sword to the ground, mist scatters on the ground. It fogs the area, your eyes scans any more hands...Then you heard a yell.

"Blood demon art; Grasping nightmares!"

   Hands, arms, all surround you and try to grab you, you jumped up avoiding them all but then a small arm grabs your ankle and throws you against the wall. 

   You grit your teeth in pain, you fell to the ground as small crumbles fall from the cracks you've made. The shadow demon emerges from the ground and looks at you with its pure white eyes.

"Huh you've survived that throw... No one has never survived it."

   You spit out blood from your mouth and rub it with your sleeve, your glare met it's face, they seemed enlightened as they tilt their head.

"Are you perhaps a hashira?"

"No, from what I remember."

   The demon hums. Ready to talk again.

"Stop talking and die."

   You run at him in speed, mist forming around your sword.

'Mist breathing Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze'

   You thrown multiple slashes surprising the demon, they kept dodging until your sword was able to cut its arm off. It regenerates back growing a claw like arm, it grabs your shoulder and tries to throw you on another wall but you stab it's side.

"GAHH YOU BITCH!!"

   It growls, you growl too and move away from its grasp, you slash its stomach. No blood but small dust of black sand fades.

   You watch in suspicion as it regenerates back, the demon growls and throws its fist at you, you easily dodge swiftly and stab it's arm again.

   You then kick its torso to the wall, sending them flying to it. It crash's, dust and debris surrounds the area, the shadow demon coughs as rumble and crumbs of the wall tips off from them.

   They snarl as they tried to stand up.

"WHY YOU BRAT!! COME OUT YOU PIP SQUEAK!!"

   They growl, snarl as their shadows darken, they felt anger and rage towards you...

   But the question is, where are you?

   Mist covers the demons feet unknowingly, the small tap and fade runs made the demon look side to side.

   They strike with sharp blank spikes to where they thought you were at, and another at a different side, then another. 

   A kick hits them on the back, they yell and snarl as they tried to attack back there, then a punch hits their side, then upper kick kicks their chin.

"ENOUGH!!"

   They yell out. Clearly piss off as they huffed and huffed, gripping their claw hands.

'Demon blood art; VOID OF NOTHING!!'

   They let out a roar, pitch black spikes and arms all sprain out in the middle, as they al, try and grasp on something,.... But nothing. Right?

'Mist breathing Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds

(The name is different because of the manga and different languages!)

   Mist all forms in the demons vision, you were in front in their eye, they smirked widely and try to grab you but then they blinked and you were gone...

"Huh?"

   A sharp pain scratches their neck, they ached in pain as their hands and spikes all fade away into dark sand. They fall to their knees. 

   Their head, rolls off, then stops at the feet of you.

   Their pure white eyes showed no emotion as they were speechless, you just yawn and lightly kick them.

"Y–You're just gonna leave me here!? WITH NOTHING TO SAY!??"

"Well I would've if I cared."

   Your cold voice said, the shadow demon watches with wide eyes as you walk away, slightly limping by your damages.

   The demon could watch only as they fade into ashes.

"You demon slayer... YOU DAMN SLAYER!!"

   The last words they said as you walked off.

    𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, you followed Ginko who lead the way to it. 

   Your mind ended up worrying over your friends and the others demons that maybe be wondering around. 

   That's when you stop at a crowd looking up the building, you looked up too, to see a small cloud of smoke, then a familiar blue blur that came out the smoke.

"Ginko is there a way into the building?"

"Hmm YES, YES!! FOLLOW ME!"

   She caws and flys inside, you ran inside too and ran up the stairs as she flys so easily up.

   You busted down the door after a huge explosion blows you. Your hair and ears flap by the impact as rumble and debris, Ginko screams as she flaps her wings but ended up being taken by the harsh wind and was flown far away.

   After it all cool down, your eyes scan the area to see Eggman covered in smoke, and Sonic grinning.

   Then you perk up seeing two others, a pink hedgehog and a red echidna. 

"—YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THE LAST OF EGGMAN! SOON I WILL RULE THIS WORLD, THIS UNIVERSE AND THE CHAOS EMERALDS WILL BE MINE!!"

   Eggman shouts as he flys away, you look up dumbfounded and blinked.

"Eh."

   You look at the two mobians, the pink hedgehog runs to Sonic and starts gushing over him, smothering him with her affection.

   You stare at this unaware of the red echidna who turned around and froze.

"Y/n!?"

"Hm?"

   You tilt your head at him.

"Uhm who are you again?"

   Knuckles just grumbles but still smile in relief seeing you, your dull eyes and your soft fur still looked the same... But then he freaked out seeing the side of your arm bleeding.

"Y/n your arm!"

(Your condition)

   He races to you and holds it, you didn't mind as you let him do what he needs to do.

"What happened?!"

"I don't know."

   You shrug, Knuckles sighs and pats your head, you huffed and waved it off making him chuckle.

"I'm just glad you're okay..."

"Y/N!!"

   You jump by a huge and warm hug, your eyes widens as it's the pink hedgehog.

   Amy slightly cry's as she nuzzles your cheeks with small blush, you just stood there with a blank face.

"YOU'RE HERE TOO!! OOH I THOUGT I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN!!"

"I'm okay."

   You just said as she just smiles lovingly, Knuckles just scoffs at her a bit as Sonic just stares with wide eyes seeing your state and how you haven't pushed her off from you.

"Y/n are you okay?"

"Sure."

   You said again, placing your hands on Amy and slightly pushed her to breathe.

   You guys all turn around to see men in suits holding up guns, you moved Amy behind you and glared at them.

   While Amy starts fawning over your protectiveness.

'He's protecting me like a knight! Oohh~'

   She stares with small blush. 

"Alright nobody move."

"Oh great, now what?"

   Knuckles glares too in annoyance.

"Don't try running away."

   You see Knuckles growling radiating anger, you just furrow your brows at him having a feeling towards him.

"Knuckles never runs from a fight."

"Hey, easy pal..."

   The solider said nervously by Knuckles. You just groan at him.

'Idiot will probably be the main reason we'll get caught.'

   You thought. But the you all turned to a yell from up.

"SONICC!!"

"Huh?"

   You look up to see the tornado with Tails and Chris, hanging down was a ladder, Sonic grabbed Amy and they both grabbed the ladder, while you stayed with Knuckles.

"HEY KNUCKLES!! COME ON!!"

   Sonic called out but his eyes widens seeing you standing there beside him.

   With an tick mark you grab behind Knuckles quills/dreads and pulled him, he yells as you dragged him.

"Idiot you'll get us caught."

   You say, Knuckles winces and gets on his feet. He ran beside you but then you start to limp by the sudden pain on your arm.

   Knuckles eyes widens as he grabs you and holds you in bridal style, you let out a eep and wrap your one arm around him—because your other arm was aching in pain.

   You covered yourself when the soldiers started firing. And at the last minute, Knuckles jumps with you and holds you with one arm while the other reaches out to the ladder...

   You both made it, your grip around Knuckles tights as your head hides underneath his muzzle, he felt warmth and blushed hard by it.

   You then grab the ladder with your other hand and lift yourself up.

"We'll go back to my house, guys!"

"Creams and Cheese are already there waiting for us!"

"Wow!! Them too? So we're all here together."

   Amy shouts out happily.

"Count me out, this is where I get off."

"Uh, Knuckles!"

   You yell out his name last minute with a small shine of worried eyes. Knuckles let's go but had slight wide eyes seeing you worry for him....

"NO, Don't go!"

"See you around."

   He fades away into the lands, your eyes slowly lower down as you let out a small deep sigh.

"He's not coming with us? Why not?"

"That's Knuckles, he does things his way."

"Hope he doesn't do anything stupid."

   You say out loud, looking at the direction the last time you remember seeing him....

   Then Ginko squawks and flys besides you.

   While Knuckles on the ground hoped you won't forget him.

"Who am I kidding, he will."

   He says feeling a bit of pain in his chest thinking of you forgetting him....
