Y/N walked as fast as she could while looking at her watch. She was over twenty minutes late, thanks to the vast distance between KIA's building and the gang's main office. She should not waste another minute. The two men standing outside the meeting room opened the door for her and she entered. The first one who noticed her was Jimin. He couldn't take his eyes off.

Jimin: You know I absolutely hate it when someone is late to an important meeting.

Y/N: Sorry, I was caught up in something.

Jimin: We came all the way from China and you were caught up in something?

Jimin, Suga, Hoseok, Jin and Jungkook were in their places. Lisa was walking in circles at the other end of the room. She quickly took her seat on seeing Y/N.

Y/N: Hi Lisa!

Lisa: Long time, Y/N

Jungkook: Now's not the time to chitchat.

Lisa nodded. She looked startled and nervous.

Jungkook: Where were you?

Jungkook asked solemnly.

Y/N: I was with an old friend, I mean brother. I was with Mark.

Jin rolled his eyes when she said 'brother'. Y/N avoided eye-contact with Jungkook and settled next to Jin.

Y/N: What's the reason behind the surprise meeting?

Lisa: We were attacked in China.

Y/N: Seriously? Who was behind it?

Jimin: We don't know yet

Hoseok: So the people we made contacts with, are dead?

Jimin: Most of them. China won't get easy anymore. Our expansion is under threat.

Y/N: My concern is... Who had the ball to go against us?!

Jungkook: I think we're about to find out

Jungkook took out his personal cellphone. It's number was highly confidential. An unknown number was calling, the country code was of China. Jungkook received the call, turned on the speaker and kept the phone on the table.

???: Jeon Jungkook

Jungkook: Yes

???: Recognise me?

Everyone was confused except Jungkook and Y/N. They knew the voice very well.

Y/N: Isn't it Little Jackie?

Jackson: Y/N? You sound well
He snickered.

Jackson: Let's see how long that lasts

Y/N: Jackson Wang, how's life in the slums?

Jungkook grinned. Jimin and Hoseok joined with a laugh.

Jackson: Y/N, do you know where your son is at this moment?

Y/N stood up as she felt her heart drop. She looked at Jungkook helplessly, breathing heavily.

Y/N: W-What do you mean?

Jackson: Bingo!

Jungkook: Y/N, sit down

Jackson: Your son is probable playing in the garden, petting puppies or something. So relax, I don't have him. But now you have tasted that fear, I could turn that into reality.

Y/N: What do you want?

Jackson: Wind up your business and move to Europe. Leave Asia as soon as possible, I need this territory.

He hung up after saying that. Silence filled in the room for a few seconds until Lisa broke it.

Lisa: What are we going to do now?

Hoseok: Do you think we should consider this as a threat?

Jin, Jimin and Hoseok, none of them acted serious.

Hoseok: We'll take over Europe for sure, we'll take over the whole world.

Jungkook: Double the security everywhere.

Perhaps the two women could only sense the danger.

Y/N: That's what we all do?

Jimin: What else? He cannot ruin the shit as we have known about him. He doesn't have KIA's support, nor his gang members anymore.

Suga: Now, here's the real deal. No one knew about the meeting Jimin and Lisa had, other than the people present in this room. Except for Kai and D.O., they also knew.

Y/N: What are you pointing at? Are you assuming that one of my guys is a traitor?

Suga: I'm just stating a possibility.

Y/N: D.O. and Kai will never betray us, not even in thousand years. Do not blame ex-members of Blackard baselessly

Jungkook stood up and walked towards the window. He lit a cigarette while looking outside.

Y/N: Dozen men joined the meeting could've leaked the information. Get this fact through your shell, genius!!

Jungkook: That's right. There were other people.

Y/N was glaring at Suga as if she would kill him, until Jungkook spoke.

Jungkook: An outsider could've done it. But my son is playing down there, in the garden.

Jungkook's eyes were fixed on Jongsoo who was roaming outside, along with security, ofcourse.

Jungkook: And he's petting puppies. But how does Jackson Wang know that?

There was only one answer. Someone close to them was a traitor.
After most of them left the meeting room, Y/N waited for Jungkook to leave so that she could go home along with him. But after everyone left, Jungkook walked towards her.

Y/N: I'm worried.

Y/N's hair was tied into a ponytail. Jungkook picked a strands of her hair which hung out and tucked them behind her ear. He then caressed her soft skin.

Jungkook: Don't worry. You should know that, I'll protect my son and you at all costs.

Y/N held his hand that was close to her face.

Y/N: I'll do the same

Jungkook: And trust me, we'll find the traitor. Fear no one.

He lowered his level to match hers and came closer.

Jungkook: Fear no one...except me. You were late. Remember your promise?

Y/N felt a gush of nervousness. Even to this day, he could make her heart skip a beat.

Y/N: Hey now, I went home on time. I was only notified later about this meeting.

Jungkook: Don't lie, I can see through it. Admit your mistake and receive your punishment.

Jungkook's eyes moved from her eyes to her lips. They moved closer when suddenly someone opened the door.

Jin: Sorry, I need to have a word with her. Just some sibling talk.

Jungkook: Sure, just drop her home for me.

Jungkook whispered something to Y/N which made her blush. He then left tapping Jin’s shoulder. Jin smiled while watching him walk away and stepped inside.

Y/N: What sibling talk? We just earlier. If this is about Mark, I don’t wanna talk. Also, how did it go with Jisoo?

Right after standing infront of her, Jin’s smile vanishes. He held tightly onto her arms and shook her a little.

Jin: What is going on?

Y/N: Ah, what the hell?

Jin: I don’t trust that guy Mark, so I sent someone to tail you both and I found out something surprising, mind explaining?

Jin didn’t mention KIA. The meeting room was filled with microphones and CCTV cameras that were directly under Jungkook. He was considering her safety.

Y/N: Let’s talk in the car.

Bored, the woman switched the T.V. on. She couldn’t find anything interesting in any channel, so she switched it off again. These days, she oddly felt depressed.

Suga: Hey Sugar!!

Irene: You’re back!

Irene stood up as Suga entered the house. He opened his arms wide and waited for her to hug him tightly, which she did. Suga hugged her back.

Suga: You kept sending me messages.

Irene: Because I missed you

She lightly kissed him on the cheek.

Hoseok: Please don’t start making out, I’m also here

Irene: How are you?

Hoseok: Better than ever

Irene: What would you like to eat?

Hoseok: Can I get coffee? I really like the one you make

Irene: Sure!

Hoseok: Once I get married, I’m going to make my wife take cooking classes from you

Suga: As if that would ever happen

Irene: Honey, don’t be rude, Hoseok is very handsome has a nice personality, he’ll find someone alright!

Without listening to a single word, Suga relaxed on the couch.

Hoseok: Thanks Irene

Barely a minute had passed when the doorbell rang. Irene went to check. She was surprised to see a duo she never expected.

Irene: Irina?

Rina rolled her eyes and stepped inside without greeting. Taehyung closed the door and walked into the living room with Irene. Hoseok and Suga were on the couch. Rina casually took a seat as well. Suga looked at Taehyung, annoyed.

Hoseok: I called Taehyung. Apparently, he was about to leave for Daegu, along with Miss Rina.

Suga: Why together?

Taehyung: Because there’s danger. I’m guessing that’s why you called me here?

Hoseok: Yes

Taehyung and Rina were too far from the town when Taehyung received the message of the sudden meeting, which was the reason he couldn't make it on time. Rina was pissed off more than usual as she had to come here with him, right before leaving for Daegu.

Taehyung: So what's going on?

Hoseok explained the whole situation to Taehyung. Rina appeared quite interested in the topic.

Rina: Jimin was fuvking bombed! So someone is messing with us?!

Suga: Jackson Wang

Rina: Doesn't that guy work for KIA?

Suga: Apparently, he left

Rina: He grew used to the Mafia, huh?

Hoseok: It's complicated because someone in our gang is actually working for him.  

Rina: How many of you bet it's someone from Blackard?!

Rina had started to work for the gang as they paid her with a lot of money. She was always hanging out with Bulletproof crew. It was obvious that she sided with them.

Hoseok: Well, I suspect D.O. Well, think of it, we've searched his records. There's absolutely nothing. He randomly joined Blackard a few years ago, with no clear motive.
He rarely speaks, mystery surrounds the man like a layer of thick skin. I've sent my man to investigate him.

Taehyung: Start an interrogative and we'll find out. I don't think Y/N will like your claim. Also, blaming baselessly is of no use, members of Blackard have only benefited us.

Rina: There you go, brown nosing Y/N again.

Irene: Coffee is here

Irene lit up the dark conversation with her smile and the dreary scent of coffee. It was kind of her to offer it to everyone.

Hoseok: Wow!! I feel alive again. I'm jealous Suga gets this everyday

Rina watched her sister, looking at every detail of her body. Irene's collarbones were more visible than normal, there were black circles under her eyes and unusual black spots on her face.

Rina: You look like a starving rat.

Rina slid her coffee infront of Irene.

Irene: You take it, I've lost my appetite.

Rina: I think it's your job to look after her!

Rina snapped at Suga.

Hoseok: Are you actually worried about your sister?? That's new

Rina looked at Irene.

Rina: Don't get me wrong, I'm not worried about you. I am concerned about the baddie in your stomach.

Irene places her hand on her abdomen. She was five months pregnant.

Suga: Don't call my daughter a baddie

Rina: Scared she would turn out to be like her aunt?

And it was a girl.

Rina: Don't sweat it, we're all baddies. If you know what I mean.

Irene: I actually want her to be strong, confident and smart like you

Suga looked at Irene. He was so busy with his work that he'd almost forgotten about her health. Instead of gaining weight, she looked like she'd lost.

Suga: I'll go and make something for you (gets up)

Irene: You don't have to!!

Rina: Make extra for me

Hoseok: For me too

Irene: Then make for Taehyung too

Suga was left dumbfounded. He never thought that he'd found himself in this situation.

D.O. looked at a black and white picture of a young man. The picture was old and rugged, yet he had kept it safe with him.  D.O. recalled a brutal death scene, he was barely thirteen that time. His memories got interrupted when someone knocked on the door. D.O. didn't except the person to be infront of him.

Chen: Hi buddy, let's go for a walk

Chen was Hoseok's right hand man. Hoseok was talking about Chen when he told Taehyung that he had sent his man.

D.O.: What do you want?

Chen: A few suspected people are being interrogated. Boss Hoseok asked me to bring you

D.O.: On what bases do you suspect me?

Chen: They are interrogating all who were present in the meeting yesterday. Apparently, our enemy is a step ahead of us. They have a spy, and we need to find who it is. No one is blaming you, you're a senior member. But, if you and others answer the questions, finding the spy would be easy.

Instead of resisting or arguing, D.O. stepped out with Chen and locked his room. He then followed Chen.

Namjoon: There is a reason why you can't decline this. And there's a reason why you can't tell anyone about this. I want you to carry out.... 𝙰 𝚃𝚘𝚙 𝚂𝚎𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚝 𝙼𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗

Out of disbelief, Y/N smiled.

Y/N: Come back again?

Namjoon: Yes, you heard me right.

Y/N: Are you in your right mind? Besides, you've a lot of agents.

Namjoon: All the capable ones are either busy with other missions or have left the agency

Y/N: Seulgi didn't look busy

Namjoon: She's dealing with something even bigger

Y/N: What?

Namjoon: An ex-agent is giving a lot of trouble

Y/N: Who can it be?

Namjoon: Jackson advised KIA to continue the gang. Once we rejected, he walked away

Jackson was prepared for Black Feather his entire life. Y/N guesses he grew addicted to that life and wanted more power.

Y/N: Give me a good reason to this 'top secret mission'.

Namjoon: There's an organization near the outskirts of Daegu, that is selling a mass amount of drugs. The younger generation is getting effected, terribly. A 19% drop is expected in the country's economic condition in 15 years.

Y/N: Why should I give a shit?

She interrupted.

Namjoon: It was your mother's mission, thirty years ago. Being what she was, she had completely the task. But this organization has risen up again. It's lead by a man named Daeshim.

Y/N: What do you want me to do?

Namjoon: What your mother couldn't do. Kill Daeshim and burn every bit of his stock. I can show you the prove. Your mother became a top agent after completing the mission.
A, it's for a good cause.
B, you can honour the death of your mother by completing her mission.

Y/N: I'm sorry but my husband would never let me do this

Namjoon: Which is why you won't tell him or anyone

Y/N: I can’t hide anything from him

Namjoon: Think about it and let me know. It’s not that big a mission, it’ll barely take you a day. You just need to get inside his organization and do the job. We can offer you money, although I know that you don’t need any. But I can offer some important information.

Y/N: What?

Namjoon: Jackson is on rise again, so I’m dealing with his matter as well.  Firstly, I’ve a spy in Jackson’s team. And my source shared some information, there’s a traitor on your side who’s secretly working for Jackson. I know who it is. Secondly…..

***Back to present***

Jin: Absolutely no.

Y/N: Don’t tell anyone

Jin: You can’t take a mission, Jungkook would never allow that

Y/N: Why do I even need his permission? This could be my way of helping. My son is under threat, I need to find the traitor. I need to do whatever I can to end this bullshit

Jin: We’ll find the traitor ourselves, we don’t need this help

Y/N: I was a traitor for two years and none of you could find that out. And there’s something else as well.

Jin: Y/N forget about the mission

Y/N: Jin, Namjoon also said….

Y/N paused as she felt an odd tightness in her chest.

Y/N: Silent prisoners are given graves, but there’s no name under dad’s name.

Jin: Are you saying that he’s alive?

Y/N: I dunno. Namjoon said that he’ll give me the details once I complete this mission.

Jin: What if he’s lying?

Y/N: He doesn’t have a reason to, I know he doesn’t lie. I don't know if dad’s dead or alive, but I need to find out.

Jin: If he’s telling the truth…
Jin took out his gun.

Jin: I’ll just place this between his eyes and ask nicely. Easy.

Y/N held his hand and lowered the gun

Y/N: Jin, we might lose a chance of finally seeing our dad. Be it his face, or the place where his body rests

Jin: Shit

Jin hit the steering wheel.

Jin: As if Black Feather wasn’t enough, we’ve got another issue

Y/N: Not we. Just me. I’ll get the mission done, it’s really not that tough. If mom could do it, I can too. I’ll come back and question him. If this whole thing is fake

Y/N removed her hand from his.

Y/N: You can pull that trigger

Jin: What about Jungkook?

Y/N: He’s going abroad next week for a few days. Where? He doesn’t tell me, like most of the time. Now I know you want to help me in this. But the only way you can do so, is by taking care of my son while I’m gone

Jin: Are you crazy?? I won’t let you go alone

Y/N: I handled myself for most of my life till now, I’m not weak. Besides, if I need help, I’ll contact Taehyung. He’ll also be in Daegu

Jin massaged his temples while taking a deep breath.

Jin: Don’t you dare get hurt

He smudged her head onto his chest.
Jin: Daisy….

The helicopter landed on the rooftop with a large helipad. A man, wearing a black jacket stepped out. He was also wearing a cap in such a way so that his face wasn't visible. Around seven men were waiting for him, all of them seemed very happy when he finally revealed his face.

???: Mr. Wang!!! We’ve waited for you

It was night. City lights were glistening the view. Jackson looked at the guy who was standing in the middle. He stood out the most.

Baekhyun: Good to see you

Jackson: How did you get out of the prison?

Baekhyun: I am a trained agent, escaping is easy and you know that

Jackson smirked and nodded. He looked around, as if he was searching for someone in particular. Just then, the eighth person joined, the very person Jackson was waiting for.

Jackson: You decided to join?

Mark: How could I not?

Baekhyun: Wait, isn’t this Y/N’s brother?? How can we trust this guy?

Baekhyun was slowly reaching for his gun. Jackson waited for Mark to explain.

Mark: Five years ago, Jeon Jungkook ordered his men to murder my father. I’ve stayed quiet, I was waiting for the right moment. And I know, now is the right moment

Baekhyun scoffed with a smirk.

Baekhyun: Isn’t vengeance an amazing thing?

Mark: It’s a curse

Jackson: Alright lads, listen. It's about time,……
