Staying over at the Todoroki residence was something that Kaida never wanted to do again. Not that it wasn't cool, but it was the fact of it being so awkward. It was awful.

Her stuff for the internship was taken back to her house by one of Endeavor's sidekicks. She kept her school bag, her hero suit, her phone, and a change of clothes.

She managed to get a haircut to even out the awful haircut that Stain decided to give her. Her shoulder is wrapped up. It's still a bit painful when something touches it. Otherwise she doesn't really notice it. After school, she has a quick healing session with Recovery Girl.

Shoto's older sister decided that she would drive them to school the next day. The ride there was silent.

"Have a good day at school, you two!" she waves them off with a bright smile.

Shoto gives her a small wave as the two turn to head into the school.

"Whoa!" Mina shouts, taking notice to them right as they enter. "Did you two come willingly together? Bakubro not killing him. Wait, why are you wearing the girl's uniform? Did you get shorter? Where's Bakubabe? Did your boobs get bigger?!"

Kaida's eye twitches. "I AM KAIDA!"

"What?!"

Shoto heads to his seat.

"Ah, what happened to your long hair?!" Mina and Kaminari shout.

"It got chopped off during the internship," she huffs.

"Wow, I didn't even realize it was you. You and your brother really are identical," Tsu says.

Kaida scoffs, looking around the room. She sees everyone but her brother. "Where is my brother?"

"He hasn't got here yet," Sero answers.

Kirishima moves up to her. "Well, I like your new hair!"

She scoffs, moving by him to her seat to set down her bag. "Of course you do."

The door slides open again and in comes Katsuki with a snarl on his face.

"If any of you fucking say–"

Sero, Kirishima, and Kaida begin to laugh with tears quickly forming in their eyes as they see his flat combed hair. "Holy crap! What the heck Bakubro/Katsuki?!" They continue to laugh.

"Stop laughing," he growls, shaking. "My hair's gotten used to this, and I couldn't get it back the right way. Can you not hear me? I'll kill you all!"

"I'd like to see you try, pretty boy!" Sero laughs.

His hair explodes back to normal. "What did you call me?!"

"There it goes!" the three shout and laugh.

Katsuki throws his things down, lunging towards them. Kaida laughs and rushes back towards Shoto. Iida and Deku are standing beside his desk already. She moves to stand between them.

She sighs. "Damn, I wish I got that recorded."

"How's your shoulder?" Deku asks.

"Sore. I'm getting a healing session with Recovery Girl after school," she answers, rolling her shoulder a bit. "It's a little tender too." She looks at Iida.

He seems to hear her silent question. "I'm good too. A bit sore, but I'll be fine."

She snarls. "I didn't ask."

"Right..."

"Now, if you wanna talk about the ones who really changed," Kaminari's voice seems to catch the four's attention. "It was those four."

"Oh, yeah! The hero killer!" Sero points out, hanging by the back of his jacket in Katsuki's left hand.

"Glad you guys made it back alive," Kirishima says from Katsuki's right hand. "Seriously."

"I worried about you too," Momo says.

"You're lucky Endeavor showed up and saved you guys," Sato says as everyone moves closer to the four.

"Just what I'd expect from the number 2 hero," Jiro murmurs.

Shoto's gaze moves down to look at his desk. "Yeah, that's right... He saved us..."

"Did you guys hear the news about the hero killer?" Ojiro speaks up. "Everyone's been saying he was somehow connected to the League of Villains. Can you imagine how frightening it would've been if that creep had been there when they attacked the USJ?"

"He's scary yeah, but did you see him in that weird video?" Kaminari brings up. "It's all over the internet."

"I didn't even know there was a video of him," Ojiro says.

"Yeah!" Kaminari says. "Stain's a pretty evil villain but like super tenacious. He's almost kinda cool, don't you guys think?"

"Kaminari!" Deku cries out.

"Uh? Oh!" Kaminari says, covering his mouth with his hand and glancing at Kaida and Iida. "Dude!"

"No, it's okay," Iida says, looking down at his left arm. "You're fine. It is true that he is quite a tenacious villain. I understand why people may think he is cool. But instead of helping the world, his beliefs lead him to cold blooded murder. No matter his motives, killing cannot be condoned." He returns his arm to his side. "To keep anyone from suffering like me, well... I promise I will strive to be the perfect hero!" He swings his arm out.

"Yeah! Let's do it!" Deku adds.

"It's time for class to begin! Everyone please take your seat!" He continues to rant.

"He's back..." Tokoyami groans.

"This is your fault for talking about weird stuff," Jiro huffs.

"Sorry..." Kaminari sighs. "I'm gonna keep my mouth shut..."

Kaida moves to her seat with a sigh.

"Hey, you okay?" Kirishima asks, finally getting free from her brother's wrath.

"As good as someone could be with a stab wound in my arm."

"You fucking got stabbed?!" Katsuki shouts, overhearing them. "I'm gonna kill that Stain fucker!"

"You didn't know?" Sero asks.

"How the fuck would I know that?!"

"Midoriya sent a message out in the class chat," Shoji says.

"Deku?! I blocked that losers number a long time ago!" he turns his glare to Kaida. "You fucking liar! YOU said you were FINE! Why the fuck didn't you tell me this?!"

"I am fine. Cause I knew this is how you would react, you overprotective sister complex brother."

"What'd you call me?! I don't have a fucking sister complex you nasty freak!"

"But you admit you're overprotective," Tsu points out.

"Shut the fuck up, froggy! I am not!"

"Totally are," Kaida says.

"Am not!"

"I AM HERE! Hope you're ready to return to your lessons," All Might says. "Today it's hero basic training. Feels like I haven't seen you in a while. Welcome back!"

He goes on to explain they're going to have a race to 'rescue' him.

"Kinda lame," Kaida sighs.

"But try to keep the property damage to a bare minimum, please," All Might says, looking and not so sneakily pointing at the twins.

"Why are you pointing at me?!" they huff as the class snickers.

They get formed into groups that spread out once they are positioned.

Deku, Iida, Ojiro, Sero, and Mina are up first.

"Iida hasn't completely recovered yet, right?" Kaminari asks. "He should sit this out!"

"Everyone in this group has really good mobility," Kirishima says.

"Haa... I'd say Midoriya is at a heavy disadvantage against those four," Momo says.

"That's what I think," Jiro agrees. "Moving around quickly isn't really one of his strong suits, that's for sure."

Kaida thinks back about that night and scoffs. She glances at Shoto who gives her a slight amused and knowing look.

"And whenever he uses his powers he gets badly injured," Momo adds.

"Who's your pick? I'm betting on Sero," Kirishima says, looking to Kaminari.

"Ah yeah? MMhmm, I'm betting on Ojiro."

"I'm choosing Ashido cause she's got a super athletic body," Mineta adds.

"I know Deku will be last," Katsuki scoffs.

Kaida grins, pulling out her phone to start recording.

"Even though he's still recovering, I think Iida's got this one," Uraraka says.

Tsu agrees with a nod.

"What about you Bakubabe, who do you think's gonna win?" Kirishima asks, tilting his head back to look at her.

"As much as I don't want to admit it," she sighs. "Deku."

"Deku?! Ha! Yeah right!" her brother scoffs.

"Really? You're going with Midoriya?" Kaminari questions. "Who are you, and what did you do with Bakubabe? Did your new haircut scrape off some braincells?"

"I'm gonna beat your ass!" she shouts, being held back by Kirishima.

"Haha! Guess we'll find out! They're starting!" Kirishima points out.

Kaida points the camera at her brother's face. "Heh."

"Look at him go!" Kirishima exclaims. "In a maze like this, it makes sense to be above everything else!"

"So that means Sero's at an advantage cause he can take to the sky," Shoji says.

A few seconds later, Deku races past Sero.

Everyone gasps in surprise except Kaida and Shoto. "Whoa, Midoriya!"

"Since when can he do that?!" Kaminari shouts.

Everyone quickly realizes that he's moving around just like the twins.

Deku ends up misstepping and falls, letting Sero pass him and win.

"Dumbass, Deku," Kaida grunts, shaking her head with a face palm.

The next group is Kaida, Mineta, Momo, Jiro, and Kaminari.

"Bakubabe definitely has this in the bag!" Kirishima says.

"No doubt," Sero says.

She easily wins.

Next group is Sato, Uraraka, Tsu, Koda, and Shoto.

Tsu wins.

Then the last five go, Tokoyami, Aoyama, Shoji, Katsuki, and Kirishima.

Katsuki wins.

The class heads to the locker rooms to change back into their uniforms.

Mineta is eventually heard talking about a hole in the wall to peek through, and Jiro sends her earjack through it to stab him in the eye from ever seeing them.

"Despicable. We'll close up this hole immediately," Momo huffs.

They all hear an explosion. "THe FUCK did you saay about my sister you grape headed perv!" everyone can hear Katsuki scream.

"Now, now, not so fast ponytail," Kaida says with a smirk. "This is a wonderful opportunity." She moves over to the wall, pulling out Jiro's earlobe and peeking through herself. "Abs for days ponytail. That's the good stuff."

"Wah! Kaida! I didn't know you were a closet perv!" Uraraka squeaks.

"Oh dear pink cheeks, muscles are the beauty in a man," Kaida says, eyeing Kirishima and Kaminari who's beside him. They're the only two boys still shirtless that she can see with her brother chasing Mineta around the room. "Beautiful."

"Ooh! Let me see too!" Mina squeals, pushing Kaida out of the way. "Ooh! Kaida, you're definitely on to something here!"

"Mina! Kaida!" Momo huffs, stomping her foot.

"Relax, we'll put a poster over it and use it for ourselves for later," Kaida smirks, pulling off one of the posters on the wall nearby and moving it over the hole. "See? All better."

Momo sighs. "I guess that'll have to do for now..."

"Get back here you little weasel and let me kill you!" Katsuki continues to shout.

"You know, Kaida, you're brother is really sweet to you," Mina says. "Is there a certain reason for that other than he's just your brother? Like he doesn't treat anyone else as sweet. I mean he is still mean to you at times but... you know what I mean!"

Kaida's breath hitches for a second as a quick flashback of smoke brings it's way out to light. She shuts her eyes, tightening her fists. She breathes. "We're twins... we have a special bond."

"You okay?" Uraraka asks, noticing the change.

"I'm fine..." She finishes changing, a bit slower than she'd like cause of her injury, and leaves without another word.

Right outside stands her brother.

"I saw the memory, it was sudden and a bit painful for me. I can only imagine how you're feeling now. You okay?"

"I'm fine. Just have a headache now," she responds.

"You don't need to push yourself. You just started using your quirk full time about five years ago. If you–"

"I said I was fine!" she huffs, shoving past him and stomping off to the classroom.

Kirishima walks out after hearing the commotion. "What happened?"

"None of your business, shitty haired sister's soulmate," Katsuki scoffs, walking behind his sister.

Kirishima blinks. "That's a bit long, don't ya think?"

The boys in the locker room talk to each other about training today. Katsuki doesn't really listen in as he gets dressed.

"You know what's next door right?" Mineta questions as he talks to Deku. "This looks into the girl's locker room!"

"Don't even think about it! Peeping on them would be criminal!" Iida shouts.

"Then you'll have to throw me into solitary confinement cause you can't stop me! I wanna see Yaoyorozu's curves! Ashido's slender waist! Uraraka's super fine body! Asui's unexpectedly soft boobies! Bakubabe's perfect pornstar shaped body! AAAAAAAHHH!" He's stabbed in the eye with an earjack.

"THe FUCK did you saay about my sister you grape headed perv!" Katsuki screams, lunging towards him as he runs away and Deku talks about Jiro's earjack.

"It's truee!" Mineta screams as he runs around everyone to get away from the boy about to murder him.

"Get back here you little weasel and let me kill you!" Katsuki continues to shout. He manages to grab him by his face and freezes, dropping him as a flash of pain goes through his head. His eyes clench shut as the memory passes. The pain passes in a split second, and he breathes.

"Whoa, dude, you okay?" Kirishima asks.

"Kaida..." he mumbles, ignoring the red haired boy. He finishes getting dressed, grabbing Mineta by the face to send him off in an explosion to blast him down the hallway. He leans on the wall to wait for his sister.

"I wonder what that was all about?" Kaminari questions. "He just suddenly froze and stopped his attack."

"It wasn't like him," Sero comments.

Kirishima has his brows furrowed, trying to think what just happened. "That was weird..."

"I said I was fine!" Kaida's voice is heard.

"Was that Bakubabe?" Sero questions.

Kirishima decides to walk out to see what's going on, and Shoto follows behind him. Kirishima exits as Shoto just peeks his head out, a bit worried. They see Kaida storming off, and Katsuki standing there with a tense expression on his face.

"What happened?" Kiri asks.

"None of your business, shitty haired sister's soulmate," Katsuki scoffs, walking behind his sister.

Kirishima blinks. "That's a bit long, don't ya think?"

"Soulmate?" Shoto whispers to himself. What's that supposed to mean? Like romantically? I thought she said they weren't dating?

"Well, it's almost time for summer vacation," Aizawa tells the class. "Don't get too excited. You can't just relax for an entire month."

"Does that mean..." Kaminari trails off.

"You'll be training while you'll be in the woods," Aizawa says, making the class cheer and chat. He all shuts them up with a glare and a scare using his quirk. "However... those of you who don't pass the final exam before the semester is over will have summer school."

Kirishima and Kaminari immediately turn in their chairs to look at the class.

"Everyone do your best!" Kirishima calls out.

"This is so stupid," Katsuki grunts.

"All you girls better pass this thing!" Mineta huffs, clapping a hand on Deku's shoulder as he glares at all the girls.

The bell rings for lunch.

"Alright, that's it for class today," Aizawa says, shuffling his papers together and tapping them to get them straight. "There's only one week left before your final exams begin. Anyway, I'm sure you're all studying constantly, right?" he deadpans. "Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about." He walks out the room, giving them all a last glance. "Good luck." He shuts the door behind him.

All the students begin to freak out, saying they haven't gotten much free time to study with everything that's been happening. Everyone moves around the room to chat. Kirishima stands beside the twins. Momo ends up being asked to tutor some of them which ends up with her causing a huge excited rant.

"Sounds like I should be studying with her," Kirishima says, grinning down at the twins.

"You think we don't know enough?!" Katsuki growls. "Maybe I should beat the lessons into your skull!"

"I'm counting on it," Kirishima chuckles.

They all head to lunch. The Bakusquad takes up their usual table.

"What do you think is going to be on the exams?" Kaminari asks. "Like the fighting portion?"

"I don't know, it could be anything," Kirishima answers.

"It's not going to be those giant robots," Kaida scoffs. "Not after all we've been through."

"You really think it could be the robots?" Mina asks. "It'll be easy then!"

"I said it wouldn't! Weren't you fucking listening?!" Kaida huffs, smacking the girl on the head.

"Ow... ow ow..."

Kaida winces a bit, holding onto her injury for a second.

"You okay?" Kirishima and Katsuki ask.

"Fine," she huffs, drawing her hand back to continue eating.

Kirishima gasps, seeing the red bandages. "Bakubabe, you're bleeding!"

"Shit," she groans.

"You dumbass! Did you rip your stitches during training?!" Katsuki shouts.

"Come on, you need to see Recovery Girl," Kirishima says, standing up. He scoops her up and races out the cafeteria.

"I can walk myself you weirdo!" she shouts.

"I'm not taking any chances!" he retorts, shoving the door open to Recovery Girl's office. "Recovery Girl! Bakubabe is bleeding!"

She sighs, calming her heart from the sudden entrance. "Set her down on a cot, and I'll take a look."

"Yes, ma'am!" he says, setting Kaida to sit on the nearest cot.

Recovery Girl walks over, slowly unwrapping Kaida's bandages. "Ah, deary, you reopened your wound. Let's get that fixed, and then I'll use my quirk, so it'll be healed over and good as new."

Kirishima anxiously watches from nearby but stays out of the way.

Kaida sighs and slumps a bit after the old lady uses her quirk on her. "Tired." She falls back onto the cot and rests.

RG looks to Kirishima. "No need to worry so much, dear. She's just fine. She just needs a quick nap. 10 minutes at most."

His shoulders relax, and he releases a sigh. "I'm glad."

RG smiles. "You're very worried about her. There a particular reason for that?"

"Well, she is my friend. I care for all my friends. We also recently just found out that we're soulmates too. I... don't exactly know what that means for us... but I've felt like I've needed to protect her ever since."

RG smiles, wrapping up Kaida's arm while she sleeps. "That's sweet of you. I wish the two of you the best of luck then."

"Uh, yeah... thanks..."

Outside the door to the nurse's office, is Katsuki, leaning against the wall and listening in. He sighs. "As stupid as he is... you're soulmate is a keeper imouto... As annoying as that is to admit." He pushes himself off the wall and returns to the lunchroom, knowing she's in good hands and will be okay.

"Hey! Is Bakubabe going to be okay?" Sero asks, seeing Katsuki return.

"Yeah, she's fucking fine. She's sleeping now. She'll be back before lunch is over."

The end of the day arrives quickly, and Aizawa leaves the room after dismissing them.

"Alright!" Mina and Kaminari cheer.

"This'll be super easy if it's just robots!" Kaminari says.

"Such awesome news!" Mina smiles.

"Why do you sound so happy?" Shoji asks. "You both have a hard time controlling your quirks."

"Yeah, but I'm not gonna lose with robots!" Kaminari says.

"Melting them will be a cinch for me!" Mina says.

"Now you just need Yaoyorozu to help you study, and you'll be all set for finals," Sero says.

"We'll definitely be able to go to the training camp now!" the two cheer again.

"It shouldn't matter if it's robots or actual people," Katsuki begins. "Why're you morons so excited?"

"Hey!" Kaminari huffs, pointing at him. "Who are you calling a moro–"

"Shut up!" Katsuki shouts, glaring and making them shrink back. "You need to learn how to control your quirk, you got it?! Hey, Deku!"

Deku looks up in fright as the whole class looks on. Kaida stands up behind her brother.

"Why're you so pissy?" Kaida grumbles.

"I don't know what's going on with your power, but I saw the way that you're using it now, and I want you to know. It's seriously pissing me off."

"Uh oh, he must mean when Deku was flying around like him," Uraraka mentions to Mina, Kaminari, and Shoji.

"Ooh, yeah, totally," Mina gasps.

"I won't have another half-assed second place like at the festival. We'll be getting individual scores in the upcoming finals. New rankings." Bakugo points threateningly at Deku. "So we'll all know exactly where we're standing. I'll show you how much better I am." He turns to Shoto. "And Todoroki, I'll kill you too." He stomps out the room, slamming the door behind him. Kaida follows him with a sigh.

"It's been awhile since I've seen him all worked up," Kirishima says, rubbing the back of his head.

"Think it's impatience," Tokoyami says. "Or hatred?"

Kaida walks beside her brother.

He glances at her. "How's your arm?"

"Healed. Just a faint scar now," Kaida answers.

"Good."

She looks up at him with a tilt of her head. "What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing."

She sighs. "If you're still worried about me for the flashback earlier today, I'm fine. I haven't had a panic attack since I was 8. I don't think a short memory is going to do anything but annoy me for a bit."

He breathes out. "I know."

She wraps an arm around his own. "Then stop worrying so much, nii-chan."

"Yeah, yeah."
