Ariel was fading in and out of consciousness as she heard voices talking above her. She tried to speak up, but her throat was, for some reason, burning like fire. The injured girl didn't understand anything that was going on.

"Just kill me. Look, I don't care anymore," Stiles grunted out as he knelt over Ariel, trying to look for any signs of breathing. He couldn't believe the girl he liked may have just been killed before his eyes. And only seconds after she agreed to be his girlfriend. The pale boy struggled to keep his tears at bay as he used his tie to stop the blood from flowing out of her wounds.

Ariel's heart broke at his words as she tried to reach out to grab him, but her arms lay limp at her sides. She felt herself fading out once again as it felt like a weight was being lifted off of her. Ariel's thoughts moved to her sister as she wondered where Lydia was and if she was okay.

When Ariel came to again, she found herself in the back of a car; the familiar squeak of metal made her realize that it was Stiles's Jeep all along. Ariel tried to sit up, but before she could move up, she was hit with an earth wrenching pain that shot through her spine.

Ariel's painful moan caused Stiles to look to the back of his car to see that the girl was, in fact, still alive. He felt ten times better as he let out a deep breath, "Ariel?!? Can you hear me?"

Stiles shouted, knowing better than to stop the car with Peter sitting next to him. It didn't stop him from looking to the back seat, not in the mood to worry about if he was driving straight.

"Don't feel bad. If they live, they'll become werewolves. They'll be incredibly powerful," Peter smirks, thinking of how strong his pack will be if the twins survive. Werewolf twins are always stronger because they can reunite themselves to create a stronger fighting unit.

"Yeah, and once a month, the girl I'm dating will go out of her freaking mind and try to tear me apart," Stiles complained, thinking back to when Scott made out with Ariel and then tried to kill him. Oh, what fun that was.

"Well, actually, considering she's a woman - twice a month," Peter corrected, causing Stiles to groan. He knew it was too good to be true. That he would get the girl, and they would have a normal relationship safe from all the craziness that has happened to them these last few months.

Ariel couldn't tell you how long it had been before they last spoke, but the next time she woke up, Ariel felt better. The brunette still had the eternal pain of hell going through her body and swore her head would split open in any second, but she felt strong enough to move around, as long as she ignored the pain.

"Oh, MiFi, and you're a Mac guy," Stiles spoke from the garage that he and Peter were standing in. The boy had promised to find Derek as long as Peter didn't tear his girlfriend apart in front of him, which to Stiles was a fair deal.

"Does that go for all werewolf reference or just a personal preference?" Stiles sarcastically asked, trying to stall for as long as he could, hoping that Scott would find him in time.

"Turn it on. Get connected," Peter gritted out before pushing Stiles toward the computer. Stiles quickly recovered as he went to use the GPS tracker so he could leave and take Ariel to the Hospital.

Ariel had finally been able to move out of the Jeep while Peter wasn't looking and slowly walk to the other side so she could look to see what the noise was. The petit girl tried to move off the Jeep she was leaning on but quickly fell back, realizing how bad an idea that was.

"Stiles," the bloodied girl moaned, unable to keep her eyes open long enough to see what was going on. Stiles turned away from the GPS image of the Hale house to look at Ariel struggle to remain verticle as she leaned on his Jeep; he immediately ran over to her. Not caring if Peter would kill him, as he propped up with his arms.

"I know exactly where that is," Peter muttered, not caring enough to stop the lovestruck teen from helping his poor girlfriend. Walking up to Stiles, Peter held out his pair of keys in expectation, "Give me your keys."

"Careful. She grinds in second," Stiles sighed as he looked back at Ariel, trying to see if she was still conscious. Ariel was struggling to form her words as her voice box felt like it was ripped out of her throat.

"So, you're not gonna kill me?" Stiles asked, trying to appear braver than he felt.

"Don't you understand yet? I'm not the bad guy here," Peter rolled his eyes, tired of the constant trope of the bad guy killing everyone in their path. They needed to understand that he had a goal.

"You turn into a giant monster with red eyes and fangs, and you're not the bad guy here?"

"I like you, Stiles," Peter grinned, walking up to the boy who was struggling to keep Ariel standing, "Since you've helped me, I'm going to give you something in return. Do you want the bite?"

Stiles's head snapped towards Peter as Ariel tried to do the same. Both were unable to believe what Peter had just said, "What?"

"Do you want the bite? If it doesn't kill you - and it could - you'll become like us."

"Like you?"

"Yes, a werewolf. Would you like me to draw you a picture? That first night in the woods, I took Scott because I needed a new pack. It could've easily been you. You'd be every bit as powerful as him. No more standing by his side, watching him become stronger, and quicker, more popular, watching him get the girl. You'd be equals. Maybe more. Yes or no?"

Ariel felt her eyes water as she tried to muster all of her energy to shake her head for Stiles not to do it. Stiles was too preoccupied with the offer at hand, unable to decide whether or not he wanted the bite. The boy couldn't help but think about Ariel. If he was able to survive, then they could be together, safe. He could protect her and not always feel the guilt of her having to constantly fear for her life. He would learn with her, not just for her. He would finally be able to deserve her.

Ariel didn't want Stiles to change himself, not for anyone and certainly not for her. She liked him the way he was. Working as hard and she could, she shook her head, pulling Stiles to her.

"I don't wanna be like you," Stiles muttered, turning to grab Ariel tighter in his arms.

"Do you know what I heard just then? Your heart was beating slightly faster over the words 'I don't want.' You may believe that you're telling the truth, but you're lying to yourself. Goodbye, Stiles," Peter smiled before walking towards the Jeep.

Stiles sighed before noticing Ariel had passed out once again and had begun shaking, "Hospital. Yep, now," Stiles rushed before moving to cradle her in his arms, knowing that he had wasted enough time as it was. Without a second thought, Stiles began to run as fast as he could to the nearest hospital, which, if Stiles recalls, is five miles away.

"Shut the door," Scott ordered Stiles, crouched below the window so not to attract suspicion. Stiles nodded, slowly pulling the door shut, wincing at the loud creaking that wouldn't lesson no matter how lightly he pulled on the door. Stiles continued to do so, however.

Scott packed his head outside of the window, checking to make sure that nobody heard Stiles before sighing, "Oh god."

Stiles noticing how upset Scott had gotten and shrugged before whispering, "What?"

Both boys stood up as they run towards the girls, who both shared a hospital room. The doctors had last said they didn't know what was wrong with the girls as they seemed to be having an allergic reaction to their wounds, causing seizures every few hours. Scott slowly unwrapped the wound before furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

"Is it completely healed?" Stiles nervously looked at the ceiling, unable to handle the sight.

"No, not at all," Scott shook his head in surprise, not knowing what it meant. Lydia and Ariel both should have died at this point, so there must be something else going on.

What? What does that mean?

"I don't get it. The doctor said she'd be fine," Stiles frowned as he lightly moved a stray hair from Ariel's face, careful not to wake her. Even with the light cuts and bruises, Stiles still thought Ariel was the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

Scott looked over his shoulder as he had been focusing on Lydia, to check and make sure her wound looked the same as Ariels, "Yeah, but the bite and the scratches are not healing as it did with me. Which means - She's not a werewolf," He added.

"Then what the hell is she?"
