White Lie
A/N- For July.
It's just a little lie
That's what you promised yourself
The first time you said, "It's fine."
It's still small, nobody will notice it
That's what you told yourself
When you covered your cuts with your sleeves
How did the words, "I'm fine," become a lie
As you lie on your deathbed
Brought there too early
You must be wondering that
Everyone looks at you through tears
But they don't seem to understand
Saying you were fine wasn't much of a lie
It was just a little white lie, right?
That white lie scarred a lot of people
It was far more serious than just affecting you
Now your mother is without her child
Your family has lost the one who made them smile
All because of that little white lie
That lie that is so rampant
"I'm fine."
