What we Think we Are
You're not what you think you are.
You think you're perfect, infallible, a god.
But in reality, anyone can crush you easily.
Your delusions are destroying you, killing you.
You're not what you think you are.
I'm not what you think I am.
You think I'm weak, soft, helpless.
But in reality, I rise up like a phoenix.
My delusions are nonexistent, it's killing me.
I'm not what you think I am.
What we think we are is always false.
We're sustaining ourselves on lies.
Whether superior or inferior, our lies hurt.
You are not a god, I am not nothing.
We've both been hurt by our delusions.
Those that think they are nothing are strong.
Those that think they are strong are nothing.
It's ironic that it is that way, yet life is an irony.
Accept others as they truly are to shatter lies.
We aren't what we think we are, and that's fine.
We can heal each other with truth.
Show others who they really are.
Do not hesitate to be frank with others.
Show them the true way they should live.
Don't let them be trapped in lies any longer.
