16.) Public Meeting and Parent Meetings

God I love you guys! 😂 You guys have really been blowing this story up lately! 🖤🖤
I throughly enjoy reading the comments thirsting over the Aizawa pics (and Hibiki's dad 😂)
You guys seriously think the pics I have shown you look good? God wait until this story gets really hot. I have some drool worthy pics of Aizawa I found that I haven't even shown yet.
I'm gonna post one at the end of this chapter. Just cause I don't think I'll use it at any point. Thirst my Lavaians thirst.

...

Hibiki strolls into UA in a professional suit, ready for the public meeting about the camp.

"Wow, Noizu-san, you look great," Nezu compliments as she enters the room. He currently stands on the counter in front of the mirror, checking his appearance for any flaws.

"Please, call me Hibiki," she chuckles. "Noizu-san makes me feel so old."

"As you wish, Hibiki-san," Nezu nods.

"Sorry for my tardiness. I had to make dinner for my nephews. I was scared if I didn't, I'd come back to a burned down penthouse."

"That's fine, it seems that you aren't the only late one. Aizawa and Vlad have yet to show up."

"That's strange. They usually seem to be on top of that."

He hums, fixing up his bow tie and looking at her attire. "Are you going to show your identity to the public or cover-up?"

"Ah, I will be covering my head," she answers, showing him her bracelets. "I don't ever really take them off."

"That's quite the commitment."

She chuckles. "Yeah." She sighs. "I wish I was out there to help get Bakugo back, but I know they will all be able to handle it. I just–"

"I understand how you feel," Nezu says. "We all feel like we could do something more. Sometimes it's for the best to take a different approach."

"Yeah, I understand how important this meeting is. Cover. I'm not used to sitting back. It's strange. Different."

"Then I'll teach you all the proper ways."

She laughs. "Thank you, Nezu-san."

Nezu's phone goes off with two bings, so he checks it. "It looks like Aizawa and Vlad are going to be running a little late, and that they'll meet us at the meeting venue. It seems we should go ahead and take our leave then. That is if you're ready?"

She nods with a sigh. "It's now or never."

The two take a car to the venue, entering the building from the back. Aizawa and Vlad were waiting in the meeting room for the two.

"Wow, Noizu, you look great!" Vlad comments as she and Nezu enter the room.

Aizawa looks up from fiddling with his tie. He blinks as his eyes widen. "Noizu, you look—wow."

Nezu moves off beside Vlad as the two grin while watching the two.

Hibiki smiles with an amused expression. "Thanks? You look good as well. You clean up very nice." She blinks. "Wow! You even shaved!" She touches his cheek to feel, neither seem to notice the slight lean in he does with her touch. "Wow, so smooth!" She giggles, taking her hand back. "If you'd do this more often all the ladies would be all over you!"

He grunts. "Sounds like a nightmare."

She chuckles, looking down at his tie resting around his shoulders. "Do you need some help with your tie?"

He sighs agitatedly. "I've been trying to tie the damn thing for the past 10 minutes. I can't remember how to do it. It's been so long."

Nezu smiles at their interaction, watching Aizawa let her do his tie for him. He's never ever seen Aizawa get so close and open with someone so fast. They look like newlyweds. He checks his watch, sighing at seeing the time. He would rather watch the two interact a bit longer than have to do this public meeting. He doesn't ever get to see them together as he's always in his office. He sighs again. "It's time to head out."

The three teachers look to him and nod.

Hibiki finishes tying Aizawa's tie then clicks her bracelets together to form over her head. "Let's get this over with."

~~~
"We are here to apologize," Aizawa begins. "A recent incident allowed harm to come to 12 first year heroes, and we staff were ill prepared. We take responsibility for any trauma caused by our negligence. It's our duty to train heroes but also to protect heroes in training."
All four of them bow. "Please forgive us."
"I'll take the first question!" a man calls out. "Since the beginning of the year, UA students have had four encounters with villains. This time there were students who were gravely injured. How did you explain this to their families? And what are some of the specific steps you're taking to ensure their safety in the future?"
"We will increase patrols around the school grounds and review security measures within the school," Nezu speaks up. "The safety of our school's students is our main priority. Make no mistake about it."
"You spoke about keeping the students safe, Eraserhead," another male reporter pipes up. "But according to our information, you and Echo encouraged them to fight during the attack on the training camp, putting them in grave danger. What was your reasoning for this?"
"We concluded that because we didn't know the full situation, allowing them to use their quirks would help them avoid worse possible outcome," Aizawa says.
"And what would that outcome be? Do you think 11 victims and one kidnapped child is a win for UA high?"
"I assure you that things could've gone much more poorly. I feared every student would be tortured and killed in the end," Aizawa says.
"It's thanks to Echo-san's patrol around the area, that there weren't more students that got hit by the poisonous gas quirk. She managed to quickly get the first years rounded up and get safely back to camp. Additionally, we're providing a mental health counseling to every student. Though at the moment, we do not see any signs of serious psychological trauma," Nezu says.
"So you found a bright spot in this tragedy?" the man snarkily questions.
"We're relieved that an entire class of upcoming heroes still has a future," Nezu retorts.
"Can you say the same thing for the abducted, Bakugo Katsuki?"
Echo and Aizawa grunt in both annoyance and regret. "Tch."
"He enrolled at your school with excellent marks and went on to win the sports festival. Before that, he survived the attack of a powerful sludge villain who eventually had to be taken down by All Might. The boy is obviously strong and heroic. On the other hand, the violence he played in the finals and his attitude at the awards ceremony both show that he cannot control his temper. What if this is the real reason the villains kidnapped him? What if their brainwashing Bakugo right now? Pulling him towards the path of evil? How can you sit there and tell us he still has a future?"
Echo immediately stands up, enraged. "Do you personally know Bakugo Katsuki?"
The reporter's eyes widen, not expecting that question. "No, I–"
"No, you don't. You have no idea what Bakugo is like. You have no idea who he is or where he's come from or how far he's come. You have no right to talk as if you know him and think he would ever fall to the side of villains. He has worked long and hard to become a hero. He's not perfect, but that is why he is here at this wonderful school for becoming a hero. It's to teach him. Do you think everyone is perfect when they first start out? No, they aren't," Echo huffs. "Nobody is perfect. Not even All Might or Endeavor or even me."
Aizawa stands up enraged himself, but he manages to hold it back and gives a bow. "As Bakugo Katsuki's teacher, I take full responsibility for not taming his violent behavior. However, his actions at the sports festival were born of his deep seated convictions. He's trying harder than anyone in his pursuit to become the top hero. If the villains think they have a chance with him, then they are grossly mistaken I can guarantee you that much."
"That doesn't amount to real evidence though. I didn't ask you how you feel. I asked you if you had concrete information."
"Our word and by observing him as his teachers is plenty of evidence. If you phrase your question better next time and don't beat around the bush, maybe you'd get the answer you want. Out right ask the question and stop trying to get us to put words in our mouth," Echo snaps.
"We're doing our best with the intel we currently have available. I have no doubt the police will break this case very soon. We won't rest until our student is returned to UA," Nezu says.
The meeting continues much the same until the four of them can't handle anymore questions. They leave to sit in the back room, watching the news coverage of themselves until it's switched over to All Might battling a villain. They all watch as he gets weaker and weaker and eventually shows the world his true form.
Nezu, Vlad, and Echo all shout loudly cheering All Might on to win as Aizawa tensely stares at the broadcast.
The number one is gone. Retired.
Endeavor... is now the new number one. The new symbol. But... who's really going to look up to someone like that?
How bad is the world going to become now that All Might is gone?
Echo is now the in the top five, sitting right at five. Now more than ever, heroes are going to work even harder. 200% now that All Might is done. They're going to have to prove that they can handle it without the symbol. Times are changing, and they aren't looking good.
...
Nezu called in Vlad, Aizawa, Echo, and All Might a few days ago to discuss a plan to bring all the students of UA to move into a dorm system.
Today they are acting on it and going to each student's house to ask (beg) the parents if they'll let their child continue to attend UA and move into the dorms. Vlad is going to each of his own students. The other homeroom teachers of the other classes are doing the same thing. Echo is heading around with Aizawa and All Might. She specifically went because she wanted to see the Bakugo's again. They've already talked to the Mineta's, Koda's, Ashido's, Kirishima's, Sero's, and Sato's.
They just wrapped up talking to the Jiro's. The three are in a car, sitting in the backseat as they're taken from house to house. Hibiki being the smallest, sits between the two men. They're finally on their way to the Bakugo's.
"You know, I thought the parents would come down on us a lot harder," Aizawa decides to speak up, clutching the back of his neck. "I suppose I owe you a drink, All Might."
Toshi chuckles. "No, thanks. I can't drink. Besides, it's not a contest. Plus the next family... probably won't be so easy..."
They pull up to the large house, ringing the doorbell at the gate. It opens as Mitsuki comes and opens the door to the house.
"Katsuki your teachers are here get your ass down here!" She smiles to the teachers. "Come in! Come in!"
They sweat drop. She ushers them in, getting them situated in some slippers. She leads them to the living room.
"It's good to see you again, Mitsuki," Hibiki says, letting her suit into its bracelets.
Mitsuki smiles. "And in better condition."
"Agreed."
"Katsuki!"
"I heard ya! I'm coming!"
Masaru walks into the room, greeting them as he sits on the couch with his wife. Aizawa sits in between All Might and Echo. Katsuki makes his way down the stairs and over to the group. Hibiki quickly gets up and wraps the boy into a hug.
(Hair is hard! Edited hair. Ugh.)
"I'm glad you're okay."
"Tch," he clicks his tongue, patting the top of her head as she's much shorter than him.
"I'm sorry you had to even be there. I'm sure it was scary for you."
"Me scared? Yeah right!" he scoffs, pushing her out of the hug.
She chuckles and sits down beside Aizawa.
~~~

"You kidding?" Mitsuki slaps the back of Katsuki's head. "Hell yeah get this kid in a dorm room!"

"You hag! Hit me again and I'll kill yo–"

She slaps him again. "Oh hush! If you hadn't been so damn weak you never would've gotten caught and caused all that trouble!"

The two continue to argue with the dad trying to calm them down only to get yelled at himself. The three teachers just stare, not wanting to be dragged in too.

"So... you're saying you give us your consent?" Aizawa bravely speaks up a bit confused.

"Oh the dorm?" Mitsuki questions, shoving Katsuki's head down. "Actually, we're grateful." She releases his head and it takes a few seconds before he sits upward. "Katsuki's fearless and good at everything he tries especially since he's got that stupid awesome quirk." She glances at him. "People are always fawning over him whether he deserved it or not." He glares at her but remains quiet. "It's probably why he ended up like this." She sighs. "That's why I liked what you two said at the press conference. See that's when I understood that the school was watching closely. I was worried about the kid obviously and didn't know what would happen, but he's back now safe and sound." She affectionately rubs the top of her son's head. "So it worked out. I'm sure UA will face harsh criticism from some people, but we still trust you though. So we'll leave him to you." She shoves his head back down to look at her husband. "Right?"

He nods. "Mmmhmm."

The two parents bow their heads.

"He's a hot tempered brat, and we know he's a pain but please train him hard and make him a good hero."

Toshi lightly elbows Aizawa. "I owe you a drink for this one."

They all chat a bit longer before heading out to go to the next house.

"Okay, Midoriya's house is close by, isn't it?" Aizawa asks, looking to his phone to find the Midoriya's address.

Katsuki follows them out. "All Might." Aizawa and Echo continue to the car but stop from getting in to listen to the conversation. "I gotta know. What exactly is Deku to you?"

"He's my student just like you," Toshi answers. "A fletchling hero with bright prospects."

"Dammit Katsuki! The police said not to go wandering off by yourself!" Mitsuki's voice rings off from inside the house.

"Yeah, sure," Katsuki softly huffs. "If you don't wanna tell me that's fine." He turns and walks back to the house. "Oh and... thank you."

"KAAAATSUKIIII!"

"I heard you!"

They watch him close the door behind him before they all get in the car and head to the Midoriya's. Toshinori sighs as they move.

"Would it be alright if I spoke to the Midoriya's by myself?"

Echo sighs. "Yagi-san, I understand why you lied to Bakugo about you and Midoriya. The truth is going to be shown to him eventually though. You know that, right?"

"And when that day comes I'll handle it."

Aizawa looks at him. "I've heard rumors, but he isn't seriously your child, is he?"

Toshinori sputters. "No! Midoriya is not my son!"

"With the way you favor him, I wouldn't be surprised," Echo adds, laughing.

"Why do you favor him so much then?" Aizawa asks.

Toshi smiles. "Because I can see him becoming the next symbol of peace. I've chosen him to be my successor of sorts."

The two's eyes widen.

"Are you serious?" Aizawa asks.

Echo smiles. "I'm glad. Midoriya needs a lot of help with that quirk of his. It is very much like your own. I believe he can do it."

"Thank you, Hibiki."

They stop in front of some apartment complexes, and Toshi steps out.

"You sure you'll be alright by yourself?" Aizawa asks.

"Yeah, we need to sit down with everyone in class 1A by days end, right? So, we'll divide and conquer. I'll take this place, and you two can move on to the next person we have to convince."

"Alright." He rolls up the window, and they depart.

"See ya."

The two leave Toshinori to the Midoriya's, heading off to the Ojiro's.

"I'm glad you're here for this student. I feel they'll likely accept our proposition better," Aizawa speaks up.

"I know they've already agreed. There's no way they aren't going to let Mashichan continue to attend UA."

They pull up to the small estate, exiting the car. Hibiki leads them to the main house and knocks on the front door.

Ojiro is the one to answer after a few seconds. "Senpai? Aizawa sensei! What are you doing here?"

"Your parents home?" Hibiki asks. "We came to talk about the dorms."

"Ah, they're in the living room. Come in."

The two teachers enter the house, shuffling off their shoes and taking a pair of guest slippers. Aizawa looks around the traditional home, looking at all the pictures. One immediately pops out to him.

(This is a picture I edited. I'm awful at hair! I'm so sorry. lol...)

"Is... that you?" Aizawa asks, pointing at a picture.

"Huh?" Hibiki stops, turning around to face Aizawa. "What?"

He points at the picture. "That you?"

She moves over to the picture. "Ah, yeah... I think I... was 16 in that picture? I love that picture. Mashichan, you were so cute!"

Ojiro blushes. "Hibiiii!"

She giggles. "It's true!"

Aizawa looks to the family picture nearby.

(I lazy colored this one!)

Ojiro blushes more and hurries along the two pros from seeing any more of his small self.

Hiroko, Mashi's mother, immediately notices Hibiki and stands up. "Hibiki! It's about time you visit us!"

She rubs the back of her head with an awkwardly laugh. "Sorry... It's not just me though. You guys always seem to be gone."

"That's also true," Kenshin, Mashi's father, nods.

They all sit down on the provided couches.

"I assume you know why we're here," Hibiki says.

"About the dorms, correct?" Hiroko asks.

Kenshin hands them the signed papers. "We've already signed the forms sent to us. We understand why they're needed. Mashirao has always wanted to be a hero. A few villains aren't going to make us stop him. Unfortunately, going in that career path means he's going to deal with villains on the daily. Why would we let him go to a school for future heroes then?"

Aizawa sighs in relief. "I'm glad that's how you see it. We promise that we'll train Mashirao to be one of the best and protect him with everything we can give."

"We know you will," Hiroko smiles. "Now, I'm sure you still have many more parents to visit. Our answer is yes, so go ahead and get going before it gets late."

The two nod, taking their leave to the next house. Todoroki.

Fuyumi, Shoto's older sister, welcomes them inside and gets them settled before going to get Enji and Shoto. She returns with them a few minutes later.

Flames erupt from Enji's head at seeing Echo. "What're you doing here?" He looks at the two teachers. "Where is All Might?"

"Where's your wife? Oh, yeah, that's right," Echo retorts, narrowing her eyes at him.

Enji's lip snarls as his right eye twitches. The room gets a bit hotter, and it's not just because of Enji's enraged flames bursting bigger out of his fat head. Aizawa looks at her in slight surprise at the coldness of her tone. The two youngest in the room blink in surprise.

"Get out."

Echo smirks, crossing her arms across her chest. "Trust me, I don't wanna be here as much as you don't want me here. So, we all know that you want your son to continue to attend UA. That means he has to move into the dorms. Which also means he finally gets to be away from you. I assume you've already signed the papers? Could you go and fetch them?"

Fuyumi is the one that grabs some nearby papers, handing them to Aizawa who seems to be in a trance watching Echo.

"I can't believe they wanted you as a teacher," Enji scoffs.

"And I can't believe all the shit you put your own family through," Echo shurgs, standing up. "All for a stupid title. How ridiculous. There's a reason you could never pass All Might. You're a cold heartless bastard with a stick up your ass. You will never be even a quarter of the man All Might is." She looks to her coworker. "We got what we came for, how about we leave, Aizawa?"

Said man shakes himself out of his trance at hearing his name. "Yes, right." He stands up and follows her out the large home.

Shoto stands after a few seconds and races to catch up with them outside the front door. "Echo sensei."

She turns to see her student standing on his porch. "Ah, Todoroki, is something wrong?"

"No, just..." He gives her a faint smile. "Thank you."

She smiles. "You're welcome. I'll see you at school?"

"Yeah." He turns back in his house, shutting the door behind him.

Aizawa and Echo get into the car waiting for them.

Aizawa lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Wow."

"Ah, sorry!" she apologizes. "I didn't mean to make a scene. I just can't help myself when I see his face. Pisses me off."

"What were you talking about?"

"During the sports festival, Shoto pulled Midoriya aside and told him about his past and how he got his scar. Enji drove his wife insane which in turn made her throw boiling water on Shoto's face the half that reminds her of her husband. Not saying that she's not at fault either. Enji didn't care for the rest of his children and basically cast them aside. He ruined his whole family. There's no way I can like a man like that."

He sucks in a breath. "I knew there was something wrong, but I didn't know it was that bad..."

The car begins to move. Aizawa gets a ping from his phone. A message from All Might saying that he's finished up at the Midoriya household. Aizawa sends a list of five students for him to go to.

"So, who's next?"

"This is the rich area, so the Iida's and Yaoyorozu's," Aizawa answers. "I'm sending All Might off to the Uraraka's, Aoyama's, Asui's, Hagakure's, and Shoji's."

"So we're going to the Tokoyami's and Kaminari's too?"

He nods.

They get through all the students except Tokoyami.

"Last house," Aizawa sighs as they head up to the front door.

Echo looks around at the large dark house. "This place is a lot bigger than I thought it would be."

"I thought it'd be darker."

Echo chuckles as they knock on the door. Clear pitterpatters of feet rush to the door and clear voices fussing with each other for who gets to open the door. The door is eventually opened and two light green skinned children with purple hair look up at them. One boy and one girl. Twins most likely.

Aizawa and Echo look at each other, thinking they must have the wrong house. Loud video game sounds are heard in the back.

"Who are you?" the girl asks.

"Mom! Dad! There's some guy in a suit with a lady dressed as a hero out here!" the boy shouts back into the house.

"Rae! Can you get it? I'm in the middle of playing a video game with Brella!" a man's voice comes from inside the house.

A black portal appears beside them and from the portal floats out a grey skinned purple haired woman in a blue hooded cloak. She looks at the two as the portal closes behind her. It takes her a second of her observing them before she speaks. "Ah, you must be Fumikage's teachers, correct?" she says with almost no emotion.

"Ah, yes, so we did get the right house?" Echo asks.

"Yes, I'm his mother, Raven," she introduces herself.

"I'm hero, Echo. This is Eraserhead."

"Aizawa, I'm Fumikage's homeroom teacher."

She nods. "Asuka, Ayumu, take them to your father and older sister, I'll go get Fumikage." She makes another portal, floating inside and disappearing.

"This way!" the twins say happily, each grabbing a pro and pulling them into the house. The house definitely had some creepy vibes but is also energetic and happy. Just little weird decorations here and there. Just a few skulls no biggie. Spiders, maybe real maybe not. Lots of purple coloring.

"Dad! No fair!"

A laugh. "I know the cheat codes by heart! Sorry, dear."

The two teachers are pulled into the living room to find a green skinned man, darker than the twins, sitting on the couch with what appears to be a girl with tiger ears and tail except green.

The man looks to the new arrivals. "Who did you bring, twins?"

"Fumi's teachers!" they say.

"Ah," he stands up with a goofy grin. "I'm Garuu, but I typically go by Gar or BB."

Echo blinks. "What does the BB stand for?"

"Beast Boy!" he answers heartily.

"Ah! I was wondering why you looked so familiar," Echo says. "You and your wife used to be heroes, right?"

"Yeah! We were on a team together. When the team decided to head our separate ways, we decided to settle down. They did as well. We still hang out a lot. Here sit."

"If I recall, you have an animal shifting quirk, right?"

He turns into a green monkey then a green cat before returning to normal. "Yup."

"That explains Tokoyami's quirk," Aizawa says, glancing at the tiger girl as he sits down beside Echo. And the different animal offspring.

"Yeah, he got a good mix of Rae's and I's."

Raven's portal appears beside them and out walks mother and son. The twins tackle Fumikage's legs as they squeal happily, enjoying that they're annoying him.

"Did he do something wrong?" Raven asks, sitting beside her husband.

"No, no. We wanted to know if you're willing to let your son continue at UA and move into the dorms," Echo says.

"Why wouldn't we let him continue?" Gar questions. "Just cause a villain attack? The public went crazy overboard."

"We understand villain attacks are common," Raven says, folding her hands in her lap. "We're not worried. Fumi is very strong, and we know he can protect himself. We also trust the staff to keep him safe." A black tendril comes from her that goes and grabs something from the kitchen, bringing it over to Aizawa who grabs it. "We've already signed the papers. I was planning to send them in the mail, but I guess this would be better."

"Thank you," Aizawa says, looking to Echo. "All our kids are coming back."

She releases a happy sigh. "What a relief."

...~~~...

More of a filler (episode) chapter. Sorry!

Haha added in the Tokoyami is Beast Boy and Raven's son theory. It just makes sense.
