𝕄𝕪𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝔽𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕤 & 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔼𝕝𝕤𝕖

I was walking down the street just trying to memorize the roads when I ran into someone. "I'm so sorry I didn't see you," I said before looking up at the person I ran into. "It's okay. Don't worry," the guy replied. When he looked up, I was met with green eyes. They reminded me of Dean. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "Are you new here?" he asked and I nodded. "Yes. I just moved here, barely a day ago," I replied. "I'm Athena Stark," I say while putting my hand out for him to shake. "Stefan Salvatore. Wait, Athena Stark? The world's youngest billionaire?" he asked. "Yes, that's me," I replied with a smile.

"I'm sorry, were you going somewhere?" he asked. "Well, no, not really, I was just walking around trying to familiarize myself with the town," I replied. "Oh yes. I felt the same when I moved here a couple of years ago," he stated. "Do you know a good place where I could grab something to eat?" I asked. "Well the only good place would be the Grill," I nod at his reply. "Could you tell me how to get there?" I asked. "I was on my way there to meet some friends. We can go together," he offered. I gladly accept it. I nodded and walked right next to him. On the way to the grill, we talked about where we lived before moving here and what degrees I had.

"So, you graduated from college two years ago. With a degree, in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Robotic Engineering, Architecture, Law, and Criminology. Wow. You're smart," Stefan said with a smile. "I'm sure you have many stories; after all, you're a vampire," I said, waiting for his reaction. He stopped dead on his tracks to look and tried to attack me but couldn't move. "We can do this the right way, and we can be nice, or we'll be enemies, and you'll find out what I'm capable of. I will keep your secret," I said and he nodded. "How did you know?" he asked. "Yesterday, my neighbors came to introduce themselves. The Mikaelson's. I knew what they were the moment I saw them," I replied. "Well, now that you know. The people we're gonna see are vampires, a hybrid, and a witch," he said. "Do I get to meet them?" I asked. "Yes," he said with a smile.

We walked into the Grill and walked towards a table in the corner. I saw a bunch of heads turn in our direction. "Hey, Stefan. Who's this?" asked a guy with blue eyes. "OMG! It's Athena Stark!" the blonde girl said happily. "Wait! The Athena Stark? The billionaire?" asked another person. "Guys? Meet Athena Stark she's new in town she moved here yesterday, so be nice," Stefan warned them.

"So there's Bonnie, Caroline, Damon, Elena, Matt, and Tyler," Stefan introduced. "Nice to meet you guys," I said happily. "So why did you move here?" Caroline asked. I smile at her. "I wanted to get some time on my own before I took over the Stark and Stark-Potts Industries. I figured I could live in a small quiet town for a while. But it seems I came to a town full of supernatural beings," I said. I saw everyone tense up. "I will keep your secret down, worry," I added. "So, what's your secret?" asked Damon. "I have superpowers, and I'm the Dark Phoenix," I said. They laughed. I rolled my eyes. "It makes sense her dad is Iron Man; she dated Captain America. She really is the Dark Phoenix," said Caroline.

"Wait, I know you," Tyler said as he looked at me. "You saved my mom from Klaus yesterday. He was going to kill her, but you teleported her to the house, and Klaus couldn't get in. Thank you for saving her" I smiled at him.  I remember that before I went to bed, I heard Tyler's mom being in distress and saved her from Klaus. Who, by the way, was really mad about it but I threatened him and made him promise that If he killed her, he would make an enemy. And would be dealing with Thor and Loki and well he didn't want that kind of enemy. "You're welcome," I said. Someone came and took my order.

I got to know all of Stefan's friends. He was dating Elena, but after she turned into a vampire, she fell in love with Damon. Caroline is dating Tyler. But she's also the ex-girlfriend of Matt. Bonnie was dating Jeremy, who was Elena's little brother. Who died at the hands of Silas. Katherine made Silas drink from Jeremy causing Silas to snap his neck. I got my food and was on my way out."It was nice to meet you guys. I hope to see you soon. He's my card with my number call me if you need anything." I said before leaving. I hugged Stefan and left.

On my way home I saw Klaus. "Hello, Klaus," I said. "Hello, love," he said. "Did you have a nice walk around town?" he asked. "Yes, I met Stefan and his friends, very nice people," I replied "Would you like to come in?" I asked. He nodded and came in. Me and Klaus he a few drinks and well things got out of hand fast. I didn't even see it coming. Nothing was supposed to happen. But he started to talk about his life and how he felt alone. I felt a pull towards him. I got close to him, and we kissed. Clothes came off, and the next day I was in bed next to Klaus Mikaelson, the original hybrid. I made him breakfast, and we talked.

Soon after, Klaus sought me out more often, inviting me out to dinners, dates, and other things. For weeks we went out before he asked me out, officially. Klaus and I were going good and strong. We became official. I met Hayley, the girl who was obsessed with Tyler. The girl who betrayed him.

A few months after everything happened, I found out I was pregnant. So I went to see Klaus and told him the news. But I was not prepared for what I saw. Klaus was lying in bed with Hayley. They didn't notice me until I spoke: "Klaus," I said in a whisper. He looked up and saw me standing there with tears in my eyes. Hayley was smirking, knowing how much this hurt me. He knew what happened with Steve and the Winchester brothers. Before he could say anything, I stopped him. "Forget about me. Because after today, you no longer exist to me," I teleported myself to the boarding house where Stefan was.

Damon opened the door and saw it was me. He was about to make a remark when he saw my face. He instantly knew why I was crying.

Stefan came running downstairs. I ran into his arms. In the past weeks, we became friends, and we relied on each other. I cried and cried. "Why am I never enough, Stef? Is it me? Am I really that unlovable?" I asked while crying. Damon was in the corner, watching everything. He had become my best friend. "Come give me a hug Damon," I ordered, and he ran to hug me. He, out of all people, understood the pain of not being loved and being a second choice.

"What I'm about to tell you cannot come out of this room. Okay?" I asked, and they nodded. "At least for a while" I added. "When I found Klaus cheating, I was on my way to tell him that I'm— that- I'm- pregnant," I said. The Salvatore brothers were shocked. They were worried, that much I could see. "I know, but I'm going to raise my baby to the best of my abilities without him. I don't care about him. I'm not going to let a guy determine my happiness," I said as I wiped my tears away. They both smiled. "We'll be here for you every step of the way," they both said at the same time. "Thank you both for being good friends. I think I'm going home..." I said, and the look on their faces was sad. "But I will come back soon. I'm gonna visit my parents and tell them the news. After that, I'll come back." I said, and they nodded. I teleported home and packed a suitcase. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I was in the middle of the meeting room.

"Hi Daddy," I said and ran to my dad. He was shocked to see me but hugged me anyway, kissing my forehead. "I missed you so much, sweetheart" we were both crying. I needed my dad at that moment; my heart broke when I remembered the heartbreak. "Auntie Nat and Uncle Clint," I said and hugged them both and did the same with the rest of the Avengers. I hadn't seen Steve in a year. We hugged as well. I saw a guy with a metal arm, a girl with red hair, and a guy with white hair staring at me.

"Hi, I'm Athena, the daughter of Tony and Pepper," I said, extending my hand for them to shake. "I'm Wanda, and this is my brother Pietro. And Bucky," they shook my hand. "James, right? Steve's childhood friend. A pleasure to meet you," I said. He was surprised. I called him by his name, not his nickname or assassin name. I learned that people like him tend to be afraid of the reaction of others. I also know he killed my grandparents; my dad told me. But I don't blame him. He was being controlled.

My mom walked in, and I ran to her. I tackled her into a hug. She was surprised to see me as well, but she hugged me too. "Now that we are here, I have some news to share. You will be mad, but you'll get over it. I hope"  I said. Everyone nodded and waited for me to talk. "I'm pregnant," I said before looking around. Uncle Bruce was smiling, and so was Thor and Loki. Uncle Clint and Auntie Nat were too. The new kids and James were smiling. Mom, Dad, and Steve were shocked. My mom ran to me and hugged me first. My dad, well, he looked mad and upset. "You're disappointed in me, aren't you, Dad?" I asked. I could feel the sadness beginning to overwhelm me.

I nodded and started to walk away when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I saw my dad smiling at me. "I will never be disappointed in you, sweetheart, you're my life and the person I love the most. I'm proud of you because I know you'll take care of this baby. Your mom and I will be there every step of the way. " he said while hugging me. I felt relieved that I would have my parents by my side. "I love you, 3000 dad," I said. "I love you 3000," he replied before pulling me into another hug..

I turned around and saw Steve; he looked hurt.

Everyone was walking out to give us some space. "I'm happy for you" was all he said as he looked down. "I'm sorry, Steve. I never meant to hurt you," I said. "Don't apologize, darling. It's me who should be apologizing. I was so caught up in the past. I didn't realize what I had standing in front of me. You are perfect in every way, Athena. And if I could take it back, I would. But it's too late. You're with someone else." he said, tears rolling down his face.

I wiped the tears away and looked him in the eyes. "Steve Grant Rogers. Don't do that to yourself. You're a great guy with the biggest heart. You were in love with Peggy and lost her when you saved the world. You sacrificed yourself for everyone. And in my book that makes you the best person. And maybe we were meant to fall in love but not to have a happy ending but we had a good start, and that is what I'm cherishing for the rest of my life and you should too. One day you'll fall in love. It will be like riding a bike you will be scared to be on your own. But I'm the person who helped you practice, and now that I let you go, you'll ride on your own until you find the person who will be your riding partner forever," I said, smiling at the man who I once loved.

"You Athena Marie Stark-Potts deserve the world. I hate that I'm not the guy who will show it to you because I messed up. I hope that the guy you end up with treats you the way you deserve to be treated with love and respect. You will always have a place in my heart, and if you need a friend, I will be here," he said and kissed the top of my head. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Be happy, Rogers. Okay?" I said before walking away.

I walked to the living room and talked to my parents and the rest of the Avengers. I told them the whole deal with Klaus. Dad, Uncle Bruce, Clint, Thor, Loki, and even Steve were mad. But I told them that I took care of it. My dad wanted me to move back. I told him I wanted to be on my own for a bit but would stay in touch. I said goodbye and moved to the bunker.

"Hello, boys," I said. Sam and Dean ran to me and hugged me. "Before anything happens, I have some news," I said. "I'm pregnant," I said. I saw their faces fall as if I stabbed them in the back. Sammy hugged me and congratulated me. Dean did too. "Who's the dad?" asked Dean. "Some guy I thought liked me, but it turns out he never did," their heart broke watching the girl they both love being heartbroken.

"I'm going to raise this baby to the best of my abilities and be happy. Hopefully, you guys can come and visit it, will be lonely" I said "But, I have to go please call me and be careful. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call. I will always be a call away. Oh! And tell the news to Cas I haven't seen him," they both nodded. I kissed them on the cheek, and they hugged me goodbye. Mystic Falls, here I come.
