So in my last Art Book, I did an outdated tutorial on drawing cat bodies. This time, here is a step by step tutorial on cat headshots! Please note that this is only one of the many ways to draw a cat head (lol that sounds weird), so this is not the only right way, and it's not wrong either. I'm happy to take in any advice, but please no criticism or hate! 

Also, as this is my style, please don't copy every single aspect. This is just a kick-off point, you'll have plenty of time exploring your own style in the future! ❤️ thank you :)

So, here it is! 

1. Draw a circle. It doesn't have to be super round!!

2. Draw a cross. The vertical line should be in the middle while the horizontal line should be just a little below the middle. This cross also defines the direction the cat is looking in. Just search up YouTube for perspective tutorials...

3. Follow the pic :) 

4. Add the ears. This is how I usually draw the ears, but you can make them smaller. 

5. U don't have to actually do this step, this is just telling you where everything will be put. Eyes in between middle line and yellow line, mouth on top of 2nd yellow line, nose below middle line.

6. Actually just with no.7 

7. Draw eyes, nose, mouth and any other details IN YOUR OWN STYLE. 

8. Surprise, the last 7 steps were just the draft. Trace over everything with stronger pressure.
