TestuBaku-Pulley Of Shame

Requested by: UselessMoon

"It's like bondage play."

Katsuki stated nonchalantly, deadpan gaze falling onto the straps that latched firmly around his hips and chest.

"Only you, Kacchan. Only you."

Izuku mumbled under his breath, concentrated on adjusting his clasp onto the cable.

He tugged on the pulley, ensuring that it was safely attached.

"Oh, come on. You guys could at least pretend to be enjoying yourselves."
Ashido whined.

Every get-together the group hosted seemed to be getting more bland each time, until Ashido suggested taking to everyone zip-lining.

While no one was directly opposed to the idea, only Izuku was aware of a certain stubborn blonde's...Mild fear of heights.

Katsuki wasn't letting up anytime soon, and Izuku wasn't going to be the one to fish him out of hot shit when he leapt off of that platform.

Ashido and Eijiro were pretending to spar with their gloves, while Denki was practically shitting his pants.

They were on a wooden platform about two-hundred feet in the air, towering over a thick forest of palms and bamboo.

The vegetation dipped  into a steep cliff, which sat directly next to a serene ocean tide.

The group was already prompted on the rules and safety precautions of the trip by one of the workers, and were just waiting for the first person to get across.

"Now, last thing--as soon as your feet leave that platform, there's no going back,"
One of the workers said, as she secured her own pulley to the cable.

"Remember how you're supposed to hold the mechanism. And how you break. And don't put your hands in front of the pulley."

She made an 'o' shape with her thumb and index finger, demonstrating the position of their grips one more time.

"E-Easy enough,"
Denki gulped.

"Alright, Kendo. I think they're good now."
Another worker sarcastically reassured his colleague, punctuating his statement with a fold of his well-built arms.

Itsuka rolled her eyes, jumping off of the platform with a mechanical ease and disappearing with the length of the cable into a tangle of trees after the first 20 feet.

On a normal day, Katsuki would've had to put up Ashido's blatant leering and fawning over their stunning company, but the cold itch from merely the thought of leaving that platform was enough of a turnoff.

Besides, Ashido was too busy having fun with her actual boyfriend--while Katsuki was preoccupied making sex jokes to dissuade himself from the thought of leaping into certain death.

"First time?"
The sudden crackle of Velcro startled Katsuki.

He turned to face the instructor slipping on his reinforced leather gloves.

Katsuki gave a single nod, averting his gaze when the man to flashed a playful grin.

Those fucking dimples would've been taking Katsuki's breath away if the altitude didn't have a headstart.

"What's your name?"
The man persisted, honestly making Katsuki think of something other than fatal impact since he got there.

From just a single glance, Katsuki could tell that this guy got out a lot–from his sun-kissed complexion, to his sinewy frame that was defined through his harness.

He was wearing a protective helmet, but the wild silver wefts that travelled down the length of his nape were visible nonetheless.

But his most notable feature–were definitely his eyes.

He somehow seemed gallant to the naked eye, despite his unbelievably long, almost effeminate lashes.

If it weren't for his overall brawny stature, Katsuki would've probably described him as...
Pretty.

"Why do you wanna know?"
Katsuki muttered, clearly annoyed that this sickeningly good-looking oaf was interrupting his fit of  paranoia.

"Just for confirmation. I may need to file a report later."

The realisation of what he was implying set into Katsuki's features like a painful blow, prompting the stranger to let out a hearty laugh.

"Oh my god. You should've seen your face."
He wiped a tear in between gasps, beginning to make his way towards the front of the platform to start sending off the group.

"Asshole!" Katsuki hollered, still remaining at a close proximity to the very center of the platform.

"You have nothing to worry about. Fatal accidents almost never happen. I'm Tetsutetsu, by the way."
He chuckled, pulling a motorola from the holster of his cargos.

"W-Why is it almost? Could you elaborate on the almost?"
Denki was bordering a full on breakdown himself, as Tetsutetsu began to usher him towards the edge of the platform.

Itsuka buzzed in from the other end to give them the okay, finalizing that the group could start making their way across.

"Alright, you guys are getting into a single file behind blondie here. You're going one at a time, okay?"

Denki gulped when the man held his pulley in place to check his leaning one last time.

"Alright, you ready?"
Tetsutetsu give a comforting pat to Denki's shoulder, to which he gave a vigorous nod.

Tetsu stepped back just in time for the blonde to leap off the platform, eyes squeezed shut as he did so.

"I'm doing it! I'm--fuck fuck, fuck, fuck, I'm not doing it!"

Katsuki snorted back an obnoxious laugh when Denki began to spin on his pulley, flying into the crowns of trees and screaming bloody murder as the sound of snapping branches and smacking leaves emanated throughout the forest.

"Who's next?"
Tetsutetsu turned to face the group with the confidence that they'd all still want to go across, despite Denki's audible distress.

There was an abrupt silence, as everyone listened attentively for any sign of Denki still being a fully operational human.

When the victorious
"Whoo!"
Echoed from the second platform, the group began displaying an almost immediate excitement.

Izuku was next, and like clockwork, he and everyone else was sent across the line with a seamless precision.

Then...It came time for Katsuki to get across.

He was dead last, and didn't utter a single word as he stepped up to the edge of the platform.

Tetsutetsu secured his pulley as he'd done for all the others, before asking Katsuki to lean back to ensure that he was leaning correctly.

A firm, gloved hand gripped tightly to the expanse of cable before the pulley, blocking Katsuki from moving in any direction.

"Lift your feet."
Tetsu said, in what was probably the calmest voice Katsuki had ever heard.

"M-My?..."

"As in bring your legs up, and lean back."

"I..."
Katsuki whined, now beginning to squirm in his restraints.

"You don't have to go, you know? At least you know that you don't like it."

"...But everyone else..."

"Was terrified at first. Just like you are right now."

Katsuki deadpanned.
"You're giving me really mixed signals here, fucker."

Tetsutetsu chuckled.
"I'm trying to tell you that either way works. Stay or go; it's your choice."

Katsuki chewed on his bottom lip.

"I don't...Want to go."

Tetsu nodded, reaching out to undo the clasp of the pulley on the cable.

What he hadn't expected, was for Katsuki's pulley to stutter as he moved backwards.

Katsuki's relief was short-lived, banking on the single fact that his pulley had malfunctioned.

The reel jammed against the cable, as it catapulted Katsuki forward because of his lack of compensation.

He yelped as heels were dragged towards the edge of the platform, biting back a scream when he slowly tipped over the edge, picking up speed where the cable began to dip.

Katsuki squeezed his eyes shut, gripping onto the cable for dear life.

He thought he was home-free, that there was nothing worse that could possibly happen.

That was, until he'd heard the dreaded squeal of the pulley breaking to a sudden halt.

Oh fuck.

He reluctantly opened his eyes, the horror that lay below his dangling legs separating his soul from his trembling body.

He mentally spat a string of colourful curses, but was physically gaping at the expanse of sand and little specks of people that dotted the beach from too many feet way.

He was so distraught, that he hadn't noticed that Tetsutetsu was only a foot behind him.

"...lright, you're going to have calm down. Your glove got stuck in the pulley."

"Don't fucking tell me to calm down!"

Katsuki didn't mean to sound as vulnerable he did in the moment, but at that point he would've done anything if it meant getting off that godforsaken death wire.

"You're panicking. Just think of something to calm your mind."

Katsuki was frantically coming up with something that would take his mind off of the height, but a potential death sentence was a hell of a mental block.

What could possibly be calming when you're strapped to a fucking wire hundreds of feet off the ground?

And the damn gear was getting uncomfortable too...

Wait.

That was it.

All Katsuki had to do, was convince himself that he was in some fucked up bondage shooting gone wrong.

"Stay still for a second, okay?"

"Mhm..."
Katsuki hummed, fantasizing about warm digits teasingly fumbling with the straps of his harness.

He nearly fell out of thought when he felt two legs clamp at his sides.

"T-The fuck are you doing?"

"We're at a slope, I'm going to have to carry you back manually. Just...Hang tight."
Tetsu grunted, steadily inching back to the platform with every pull.

"You know what we call this?"
He asked.

Katsuki rolled his eyes. This guy clearly didn't know how to read the air.
"Harassment?"

Tetsu chuckled.
"No, we call this the pulley of shame."

Katsuki snorted at the irony.
After all, he was one of the most shameless people he knew.

Not to mention, the first thing that he could come up with as a form of alleviation was kinky sex play.

Maybe there was actually a part of him that should've been ashamed.

"You good there?"
Tetsu paused momentarily as he inquired.

In all fairness, Katsuki had gone from mass hysteria to absolute silence in a matter of seconds.

"Yessir."

Maybe there was a day where he'd be embarrassed by something like this;
but that day sure as hell wasn't today.
....

"That was amazing!"
Denki gasped, stretching now that he out of gear.

Katsuki sat at the foot of stairs that led up to the final platform, as everyone was taking off their gear and joining him at the bottom.

"You really lucked out, Kat."
Eijiro shook his head as he removed his helmet.

"Yeah, yeah."
Katsuki groaned, rolling his eyes upon seeing their dumbass grins and knowing they'd never let him live this down.

Although, the small piece of of paper that sat in the back pocket of his shorts reassured him that this trip wasn't a total waste.

Maybe he'd tell Tetsu about his dotish friends when he called him later--they were the reason he'd gone through the Pulley of Shame, after all.
