Manik Malhotra

Only son of Raj Malhotra and Nyonika Malhotra. CEO of Malhotra Industries . Greek god and girls die for him but he is still waiting for his 'The One'.

It's Monday, the most disliked day of the week for obvious reasons. But the person in question is nowhere to be seen. So Let's find him.

In a lavish room inside Malhotra Mansion , a guy is getting ready in formals and looks like he's in a hurry.
Well why wouldn't he ? He has an important meeting in 40 minutes and it takes half an hour to just reach his office from home.

He walked downstairs and found his mom and sister like sister-in-laws setting breakfast at the table and his father was sitting in the living room reading or better say pretending to be engrossed in the newspaper. 

He went towards the table and wished them morning. He hugged his mother, kissing her forehead while she gave him a sweet smile and lovingly patted her cheeks wishing him back.

Nyonika Malhotra, his mom , is his world. She is one of the two most important women in his life and he can do anything for her happiness. Literally, Anything !!!

She turned towards Alya and Navya and asked them to call their husbands.

Both of them nodded to her and went to their rooms.

Knowing they are not coming back any soon, Manik turned towards his mother

" Mom I am leaving , I have an important meeting today and I am already late for office. "

And he turned to leave but stopped hearing his mother

" Stop right there , Mr. Malhotra. You aren't stepping your foot out of this house without having your breakfast. So just sit down and eat first. "

"Mom I will have it in office , I promise. But I am really getting late. "

He tried to convince her but looks like his mom is in no mood to listen.

" You should have thought about it before getting drunk last night. And don't give me this " I'll have it in office " shit , I know you very well. "

" But mom --- "

He tried to say something but was stopped by the calm yet angry voice of his mother

" No more excuses Manik. Just sit , eat and go. You yourself are wasting your time "

Manik understanding that his mother is really angry and won't budge, sat down and had his breakfast. He finished it quickly and left bidding her bye.

After half an hour

Cavya and Dhrulya came downstairs. Both cabir and dhruv were holding their heads in pain while their wives just shook their heads in disbelief.

They reached the table and sat down. Raj also joined them on the table.

" Good morning Badi maa ,Bade papa "

Cabir and Dhruv wished and RajNyo wished them back .

"Badi maa -- "

Before Cabir could continue, Nyonika gave them lemonade and they both smiled at her sheepishly while she just gave them a " Nothing can happen of you two " look.

Then ladies served everyone and sat with them. While they were eating,

" Just to inform you both, your brother is really angry with you after what you did last night "

She told CabRuv while they made a cute and guilty face.

" We knew it would happen Badi maa, but we still did it because we just can't see him destroying himself "

Dhruv said trying to explain her

" He was so worked up , we just wanted him to let himself loose and we couldn't find anything to do anything other than this with him "

Cabir further said to tell her that they never wanted to do this but they also can't just see him pushing himself in the pool of darkness.

" I have asked you two , innumerous times about what happened that changed him so much overnight but none of you ever tell anything. I am asking you again , Please tell me . How can we even help him without knowing what actually happened "

Nyonika again asked them despite knowing what will be the answer but she won't stop trying . It's about her son who has already suffered a lot and God is just adding to his miseries more.

" You know we can't Badi maa, we have promised him not to tell anyone and we won't break that. Also , the truth will just hurt you more and we won't let that happen ever "

Dhruv said . This is the answer she is getting for all these years. She wanted to tell them that it doesn't matter if it hurts her but she can't see her children in pain. But she knows it's of no use as her sons love her so much to hurt her.

Cabir and Dhruv, she didn't give them birth but she loves them as her own. She never differentiated between them and Manik and even they love her more than everyone. They, just like Manik can do anything when it comes to her.

While they were talking, Raj was just sitting quietly hearing everything. No one can tell what is going on in his mind.

" I am done, I am leaving now . DM is coming today to our hotel so I have to make sure that everything is perfect. "

Cabir said getting up and left , not before kissing Navya's forehead quickly making her blush and receive teasing looks from others except Raj who also left for his room soon after.

" Even I am leaving , New batch is starting from today and I have to look after everything. "

Dhruv said getting up to leave for his dance academy ' Step Up ' , Mumbai's top Dance Institute which has 5 other branches across different cities of Maharashtra .

" Wait, even we are coming with you. We have a meeting with a client in an hour. So, you may drop us on the way. "

Aliya said to which Dhruv nodded and went outside to the car. Aliya and Navya went to their rooms to take the stuff needed and went outside after giving Nyonika a hug.

Malhotra Industries

Manik entered his office and everyone stood wishing him Good Morning while he straight went to his cabin without replying .

He sat on his chair removing his coat and his PA Amit entered after getting his permission.

" Sir you have meeting in 5 minutes. The clients have arrived and are seated in waiting room "

" Ok , bring them to the conference hall , I am coming . Also make sure that you double check everything before hand. I don't want any mistakes. "

" Yes sir "

He went out while Manik too wore his coat and left for Conference Hall. He entered the hall and the meeting started after exchanging necessary greetings.

Meeting lasted for 2 hours and Manik straight went to his cabin after ordering Amit to not disturb him for some time unless something important.

He entered the room which was attached to his cabin. The room was built on the strict orders of his mother who was worried about him overworking himself , and so that he can relax himself in between for some time. Many a times, he stays in thus room at night instead of going back.

After entering the room, he went towards a door at the corner of the room which from outside looked like a cupboard. He opened it with his fingerprints and went in.

This room was filled with some pictures. He took a picture kept on the table and caressed it softly.

" Hey! How are you , I hope better than me. You know what , I am really angry with Cabir and Dhruv for what they did yesterday . Oh how would you know , they tricked me into consuming alcohol despite knowing that I hate drinking. Maa had already kept the lemonade for me on the table in the morning , so I don't get hangover. I know why they both did that , ofcourse I know but I can't do anything.
(With teary eyes)
I wish u were here , I really wish . Mom , Cabir , Dhruv , Aliya , everyone misses u and are really guilty of what happened . Navya don't know about you or what happened in the past but she is the one who handled us all after you . I have been searching for you form the time we cam to know of your innocence but No Result. I promise I'll never let you go once I find you . Pleaseee come back ...... Pleasssee ... "

He was crying hugging the picture close to his heart and stayed their for some time talking to the pictures and crying. He came out of the room later and went to the washroom to make himself presentable before walking back into the cabin.
The rest of the day passed with him busy in works , pretending to be happy for the people around.
