With eyes that tell a thousand stories – she drips of gold and finesse. She is nothing short of a goddess, she can be compared to Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty herself. She has this stunning, soft, succulent kind of beauty but she doesn't seem to know this. How I hope, wish and pray that she accepts herself for who she is; she is one in a million, the best among thousands.
If only she can look through my eyes and see what I see.

She is pretty and I will love to call her perfect but we all know that isn't true. No one is perfect but it seems that she lets her mistakes and imperfections define her and eat deep into her soul. She always tries to prove to everyone that she is fine and everything is alright but I see right through that façade of hers.

I tell you I'm fine but I'm lying - I just don't want you to worry. My past and memories are used as weapons against me; sometimes I don't know how to feel. I take all my feelings and hide them cause I don't want to be hurt but the irony of it all is that I have been hurt so much that I am starting to get numb to it all. My heart has been ripped out, stomped upon, cut through a million times and shattered over and over again by those I consider family. Feeling pain has become a norm.

Don't let the seemingly innocent and naive look on my face deceive you. The truth is that I've been through a lot that you can't even begin to comprehend.
