As the night passed by, Luster sat up in his bed looking around before he figured it would be best for him to get some fresh air so the large electric-type, got up quietly walking until he got to the front door, yet a voice from the darkness startled him and nearly caused him to bump into a table.

"No sleep again huh?" Lyndon spoke, looking over to his son. "You seem to do it quite a lot... What's bothering you son?" He asked, before walking out of the corner of the room since this had begun to worry him.

"I...it's nothing dad I promise I just need some air is all" Luster spoke attempting to convince his father, yet it was to no avail.

The elder of the two simply chuckle and walked towards the door opening it before he motioned for his son to follow which he promptly did as it was one thing to lie to his father but it was another to not follow his orders "Come on walk with me"

Luster followed the male into the forest and looked around as he recognized the path they were walking on as it led to the beginning of the river where he used to train with his father before Ajax was born this made his father chuckle a bit.

"You remember the time you ran away because your mother wanted to take you to Hush for a check-up?" He said looking back to him with a laugh as a cool breeze hit them. "Then the entire village was out searching for you"

The Luxray smiled as that was the day he met Rayne and it was her of all Mons that convinced him to come back as even then she hated the Lycanroc. "Heh I remember that. You remember the time mom asked us to go get some berries for her and we ended up getting rained on"

This made Lyndon laugh "Oh yeah we both walked in and your Mother nearly killed us for getting water all over the floor not to mention the fact we both got sick" he said laughing as they made it to the clearing which by now had grown over as neither of them had been there in quite a while.

The two Pokémon looked at the overgrown grass and leaves that pepper the clearing that they were once so familiar with it brought a melancholy tone to the area but they both gave each other a nod before they began to clear the patches of long grass and weeds using the most effective tool their claws.

As the time passed it didn't take long for the two to clear out the grass this made the younger of the two smiled since it had felt like they'd never left this place. "It is late but wanna train?" He asked his tail swaying a bit.

Lyndon perked up a bit after hearing the request but he quickly turned to the younger Luxray flashing him a small smirk. "You know I'll never decline that! But think you can keep up with your old man?"

"Heh is that even a question?" He said standing tall as his expression changed to a cocky grin as sure he'd trained with his younger brother but he still had to hold himself back since Ajax wasn't old or big enough yet.

The elder of the two stretched an audible click being heard from his bones and raised his head like his son before he wasted no time in charging at the male.

Luster didn't expect his father to start so suddenly yet he was prepared and dodged out of the way. Lyndon knew he'd do this and pulled his tailback charging it with electricity before he swept the Luster from under his paws. "Gah!" The younger of the two groaned but recovered quickly something his father didn't expect.

"I'm shocked that move used to take you out pretty quick as a kid," he said before charging towards Luster his body becoming enveloped in electricity something which his son followed with.

The two Luxrays seemed matched with speed as they ran in a circle charging up more power and as if they had the same idea they turned at the same moment and collided causing both to fly back and the sudden release of power caused a small explosion a ways away this alerted two Pokémon a shiny midnight Lycanroc who woke up suddenly in a cold sweat and the fire type leader of a gang who was also woken up.

The older of the two stood up groaning softly as he cracked his neck. "Whew...feels like I hit the side of a mountain" he said before walking over to his son chuckling softly.

"We need to train more I haven't gotten to use anywhere near that power in so long," he said which was partly true as he couldn't use Electric attacks against Rayne since she absorbed them like nothing but he got up a bit shaky at first before looking at his father.

"We can get training like this maybe once every week but you should take your brother here means more than any other clearing..." Lyndon said softly before motioning for his son to follow so they could head back to the village.

The younger followed quickly as this had brought a feeling of reinvigoration to him and it showed it he ever needed anyone his father would always be there for him

As the two luxray's made their way back Bonn had been in a panic as he had no idea where he was so the male stood up clutching the wall as his legs were wrapped up in bandages. "W-What the hell.." he muttered before walking out of the hut which at this point had no one in it but he made sure to grab a scrap of cloth which was his unfortunately for the Lycanroc he didn't get far as he fell on the ground panting. "C-Come on...g-get up" he told himself.

Luster and Lyndon had just gotten off of the path and luckily the younger of the two saw the injured Pokémon out of the corner of his eye and bumped his father's shoulder pointing to the Lycanroc before he called out "Hey Are you alright?"

Bonn looked back to the owner of the voice and saw the two Luxray's he didn't listen to what he'd said and tried to get up this time he was more successful as he tried to run yet he couldn't and fell once again "Get back!" he shouted raising his claws as he turned around on his back

The two approached the Pokémon they did so Cautiously and the older of the two spoke up "We won't hurt you alright? You're in our village now my son here brought you here after he found you earlier today" Lyndon explained and this seemed to make the Lycanroc lower his paw

"Yo...You helped me?" Bonn asked looking at the other Luxray as he still didn't fully trust the males but if they wanted they both could have finished him then and there and as much as he hated to admit it he still needed help and this was evident as he stood up and stumbled

Luster moved in quickly as the Lycanroc nearly fell but he placed a paw on the luxray's back keeping himself up "I got you...come on I'll take you back to medical center"

The elder of the two Luxray smiled slightly as he saw his son doing what he figured he'd have to do so he decided to leave the two "Luster I'm gonna head back home make sure he's okay before you leave" he said before turning and starting to walk

"Thank you.." Bonn said this remark aimed at the two but he walked with the Luxray who had saved him earlier and whose name was apparently Luster "Why did you help me?" He asked putting more of his weight on the quadrupled.

The Luxray helped him back into the hut and brought him over to the bed where he rested earlier "What do you mean? You needed help and I wasn't just gonna stand by while you were injured" he said simply before he looked to the piece of cloth that the Mon had been clutching in his other paw.

The Lycanroc looked down to the piece of cloth as memories of his earlier life flashed through his head which made him sigh softly "Pokemon just don't help each other like that..." he said softly before glaring at the Luxray "If pokemon cared for each other then I wouldn't have ended up an orphan"

Luster looked at the Lycanroc even as he glared at him "Well I'm not like other Pokémon I saw you needed help and I helped me and my friend Rayne" he said as he was more concerned for the male compared to Rayne yet he wasn't gonna say that now.

"Heh you're practically a hero Luster," he said before looking down to his bandages and sliced the upper part off on each thigh a sigh of relief escaping his lips "Whoever wrapped me up needs to learn how to wrap properly those were way to tight"

"What were you even doing out there you didn't fight back against those Pokémon," he said sitting back on his hind legs as his gaze trailed up and down the Lycanroc noticing all of his features.

"I found some information out about my brother and those guys weren't giving it up," he said trying to make an excuse for why he didn't fight back as he was telling half the truth.

The Luxray after hearing the explanation tilted his head to the side as that raised more questions than answers "Your brother huh? Well that's nice of you to look for him...What's your name since you know mine" he said with a small smile being brought to his face.

The Lycanroc let out a soft sigh as he stretched his legs and laid back slightly on the bed and contemplated on telling the Pokémon a fake name but it was only fair "Bonn...Bonn is my name" he said sitting back up and wrapping the cloth around his thigh and trying to tie a knot in it but couldn't make on so the Luxray moved his tail in and rested the tip of it on the cloth where he was able to tie it now "Oh uh...thanks"

"No problem," he said before yawning softly and looking at him "You should get some rest your injures still need to heal they should be okay maybe by tomorrow"

"I'm fine I can walk it doesn't even hurt," he said looking away from the male as he could barely walk but he hated seeming weak around others especially those who he didn't know.

"You could barely walk back there just stay for the night and rest up...if you want you could even come over for breakfast tomorrow" he said looking at the Lycanroc showing him a small smile.

Bonn crossed his arms as he looked down to the quadruped as he didn't want to stay but he hadn't eaten in since yesterday and the mention of food made his stomach growl which made the Luxray chuckle "Fine I'll stay for the food"

"You'll enjoy it Ma is a great cook," he said before walking to one of the beds that were on the floor and sat back on it as those were more meant for quadrupeds "I have a brother too you'll meet him tomorrow he's what you'd expect a little brother to be"

"He sounds interesting. I'm guessing that other Luxray was your father huh?" The Lycanroc asked turning as he propped his legs up on the bed getting comfortable since he was staying there for the night.

"Oh yeah his name is Lyndon he's the head defender for our village," he said before he decided to lay back since they were just talking and he didn't see himself falling asleep any time soon.

The Lycanroc perked up a bit as he heard this since he always loved a good battle "Think he'd be down for a fight?" He said a small smirk appearing on his face.

"Heh I don't see why not he's busy a lot though and I've been needing a good partner to spar with my brother is still too young to use all of my power on," he said leaning back and looking at the Lycanroc who was upside down from his view now.

"Don't think I've ever fought a Luxray before so this may be fun" He said closing his eyes as he imagined himself sparring with the male "I'll be your partner for fighting as long as I get some food to eat that is"

"You'll get it trust me but we can after your injuries heal my head is still kinda spinning from me and my dad's match earlier," he said yawning softly before he shut his eyes figuring he could rest then for a few minutes "We caused this explosion shit was pretty crazy"

This made Bonn pause as he remembered waking up to a loud noise maybe it was the explosion that Luster spoke of but he doubted it since he didn't think two luxrays could do much "Sounds pretty awesome makes me excited to fight what about yo—" he said his tail swaying a bit.

The Luxray's breathing slowed as he had fallen asleep soft snores being heard from him as the past few days of not being able to sleep had finally caught up with him and he seemed to be pretty peaceful.

Bonn shook his head chuckling softly after hearing the Luxray's snores yet he didn't mind it as they were almost calming in a way so much so to the Lycanroc slowly dozed off as he could have gotten up a ran away he decided to give this place a try for now at least.

As the next morning rolled around the Lycanroc was the first to awake of the two but he groaned softly looking around and nearly jumping up in confusion until he saw the sleeping Pokémon which made him shake his head with a soft chuckle.

Bonn got up from the bed stretching before he walked over to the electric type who was curled into a ball and kicked his side not hard enough to hurt him but enough so it would wake him up "Hey Luster wake up"

The Luxray yawned softly before he opened his eyes and turned his head a bit looking up at the Lycanroc "Heh..I'm shocked you didn't kick me as hard as you could" he said before stretching and standing up.

"Oh if you didn't wake up a few seconds after I did that I would have sent you through the hut wall," he said before laughing and walking out of the hut seeing it was still fairly earlier judging by where the sun was and luckily his legs were feeling much better not to their hundred percent but good enough to walk.

Luster stood up shaking his head with a soft chuckle at the male's words "Gonna take a shot when you see one huh?" He Said with a small grin as he followed the male out of the hut. the morning sun just rising over the tree line.

The Lycanroc looked around taking in every building he saw within the village in a way that reminded him of home yet it felt much more accepting in a way since he wasn't shunned by the Pokémon that assisted him for the difference in his color. "This place...It's nice" he said softly glancing over to the Luxray as a smile appeared on his face.

"This place accepts anyone... No matter if you're a shiny or not" Luster spoke sitting back on his hind legs he was still pretty large from this angle but he knew in his mind that shines weren't the most accept everywhere he knew this from the stories his mother would tell him as a child and it only furthered his acceptance of anyone. "This village was set up when I was younger my father was one of the founders of this place"

The Lycanroc glanced over to the male before he shook his head as the memories came back to him so he brought up something new "Can we get something to eat?" He asked abruptly.

This statement made the Luxray laugh before he nodded and glanced back to the sun "Hm... yeah this is usually the time that mom wakes up" he said his tail starting to sway before he stood back up and tilted his head to the side a bit motioning for the male to follow him.

"Are you sure your mother will be fine with a stranger just suddenly coming in?" Bonn asked as he wasn't nervous yet he was still a bit concerned considering that Luster had barely known him for a day.

"Of course my mom will be happy to see a new face and I trust you," he said with a small smile as they walked towards the home.

"You trust me..?" He asked being a bit shocked by this statement as the former point still stood yet he looked to the Luxray and chuckled softly "Heh... Either you're too kind or a dumbass guess I'll find out which..." he muttered under his breath, as he walked faster and caught up with the Luxray.

The two Pokémon walked through the door which made Elise quickly turn around as she thought her son was still asleep upstairs not to mention the sight of the Shiny midnight Lycanroc made her tilt her head to the side "Um...friend of yours I assume" she asked as she knew her son had many friends, yet she'd never met this one.

Luster nodded at his mother's statement "Yeah this is Bonn he's new around here so I invited him over for breakfast... That's okay right mom?" He said with more emphasis on the last part of his sentence as Bonn didn't look nervous yet he did appear to be uneasy and the Absol took notice of it.

"Yes...of course! just sit down and I'll have breakfast done soon," she said, giving the two a warm smile which eased some of the tension that Bonn had been feeling.

This made the Lycanroc smile a bit before he looked over to Luster wondering where to sit down as his mother had instructed. The Luxray glanced over to him tapping his left shoulder before motioning for him to follow which he did "You guys have a nice home" Bonn said as he saw Luster climb onto a couch which looked to be quite worn.

"Heh yeah, Mom and Pop have had this place since before I was born I think I'd have to ask him," Luster said tilting his head to the side a bit as he looked to the Lycanroc. In the male's mind, he wanted to ask quite a few questions to Bonn, yet he figured he'd hold that off as Ajax probably wouldn't leave the Lycanroc alone until most of his questions were answered.

Bonn gave a small nod in response before he looked down for a moment and seemed to be lost in thought to Luster, in all reality the Lycanroc had thought of his parents. He seemed to be stuck in this state for a few moments until the Luxray moved his tail forward tapping his shoulder which made him jump from surprise. "Ye-Yeah..?"

"You alright? You seemed in a deep thought heh" he said with a soft chuckle at the end of his statement, he hadn't realized what was on the Lycanroc's mind, yet there wasn't a way for him to know.

"Ah well yeah... Just thinking on a few things was all" Bonn said, turning his head to the Luxray a bit where he showed a small smile in his direction.

This made the electric smile show a smile back at him as he enjoyed the sight of a smile from the dual typed Pokémon. He was about to speak, yet he was cut off by his father who was just waking up and walked into the dining area, he hadn't noticed the two in the living room and walked over to his mate who he gave a nuzzle to her neck.

Elise smiled as she saw Lyndon enter the room "You slept late, tried?" She asked, licking his cheek in return, she had finished making breakfast since she'd started before Luster and Bonn came in.

"Mm yeah... Got some late night training in with Luster and we helped a lyca—" He spoke sleepily as his attention was grabbed by the two on the couch, he didn't expect to see the Lycanroc, yet he didn't mind him here what's so ever. "Oh morning you two, nice to see you again Bonn"

The Lycanroc perked up a bit as he and Luster stood up getting off of the couch "Likewise to you Lyndon" he said with a nod before he stretched and glanced over to luster and seemed to have a permanent smile plastered on his face.

Elise smiled before she turned back to the counter for a moment and grabbed one of the bowls with her maw, before she walked to the table and placed it onto the center "Come on everyone let's eat" she said in a tone which only a mother could replicate.

This was enough for the three to sit down at the table and after a few moments, the youngest of them all Ajax came from his room looking a bit tired. Ajax in the morning wasn't all that sweet and was grumpy to an extent, yet as he saw the Lycanroc he perked up and seemed to get all of his energy back since he always loved having new people around. "Hey, I remember you from yesterday!" The electric type said as he got up onto his chair and his tail swayed, he suddenly gasped with what seemed to be stars in his eyes. "Are you staying with us!?"

The way the five were positioned made it so Ajax was right across from Bonn and right next to Luster, Lyndon was positioned at the head of the table and had Elise and Luster at his right and left.

Bonn was taken aback by the Luxio's sudden spike of energy and had a berry in his mouth as he glanced over to the others for a bit of help, yet they seemed to find it a bit funny and he was forced to answer "Oh um... I was just having breakfast here heh..." he spoke covering his mouth a bit as he finished chewing his food.

As a bit of time passed the five ate their breakfast and spoke a bit more, as the conversation dragged on Elise had asked where Bonn stayed, and to put it simply he said "No-where" this made Elise nod in response only for her to suggest him staying with them for a bit as it was the right thing to do in her opinion.

"I think that'd be best since you have no where to stay, I'm sure Luster would enjoy having you around for longer" Lyndon said with a small grin as he looked to Luster who nodded quickly as a smile formed on his face along with a pink hue which was barely visible.

The Lycanroc was clearly caught off guard by this as he hadn't been shown kindness such as this for a long time, needless to say, he was more than grateful and he wouldn't admit this yet he was happy since he felt as if he was a part of a family. "You don't know how much this means... Thank you all really" he said with a genuine smile.

Luster chuckled and nudged his side a bit with a smirk "Heh don't get all soft on us Bon-Bon" he said giving the male a small nickname which was just his name twice if you thought about it.

This made Bonn laugh a bit before he placed a hand on his head ruffling just fur a bit, after he was done the electric type's head floof was all messy and it got a laugh from his parents and brother.
