"What are you doing here?" I cross my arms.
"It's been a while old friend." He smiles.
"Since when were you and I friends?" I grip my sword.
"Yeah... so sorry about your whole crew." He turns.
Tears grip my eyes. I glare at him. Way to piss me off Hermes.
"You're sorry?" I ask.
I grip my sword
"You have no idea how much pain I'm in!" I yell.
He draws back. Pegasus bites my clothing. I push him off. I throw my sword at Hermes. He yelps and dodges.
"No voice to cry suffering!" I yell.
I let out a breath. This isn't smart.
"Can you take me home?" I ask.
"Hmm. Yeesh." He looks at a long scroll.
I roll my eyes. It unravels around us. He starts muttering and buzzing around like an annoying fly.
"Uh... maybe?" He raises an eyebrow.
I feel a knife jab my heart.
"What the heck do you mean by maybe?!" I yell.
"Your records are a bit... unstable to say the least." He says.
"Unstable?! You mean pissing all of you gods?!" I roar.
"Well..." He gestures.
I charge. I punch him in the face. You have no idea! I have been away from my wife for thirteen years! I have suffered! I have been burned for my crimes! I lost my entire damn crew! Hermes slams into the ground. What the hell?! Will the Gods stop this madness?! Will they ever stop torturing. My eyes are flashing with anger. Pegasus pulls me back. I turn and I see my cape.
I am tired. I am so tired. I just want... will I ever get home? I can barely remember my homeland. Ithaca. Ithaca. Ithaca... I pick up my cape. I put it on. The Gods have no idea what they just started. I'm coming for them all.
"Hermes?" I ask.
"You okay?" He asks.
"I want you to deliver a message to the Gods." I say.
"And what message is that?" He asks.
"Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves. I'm coming for their throne." I grip my sword.
